Raccoon Lodge (part of Coops Creek Cabins) is a comfortable 300 square foot cabin nestled in a cozy, wooded hollow on Coops Creek. We are adjacent to the Historic Dunlap Coke Ovens Park, and only one mile from the center of town - giving our visitors a quaint, secluded accommodation with the convenience of staying in town. Centrally located, visitors can enjoy day trips to Chattanooga, Crossville, McMinnville, Jasper, Murfreeboro, Woodbury, etc. (This includes Fall Creek Falls State Park and Cumberland Mountain State Park.)Hike the nearby trails, check out the many local restaurants and shops, take day trips to many tourist attractions, or just hang out in this cozy cabin and relax all day.Raccoon Lodge has all the comforts of home: a snug loft bedroom (accessed by a ladder), a comfortable sofa bed with a memory foam mattress and optional air mattress, a back deck overlooking Coops Creek, a firepit, a small kitchen with all the basics provided for cooking simple meals, a full bathroom with a stand up shower, central heat and air, an electric fireplace, direct access to the Coke Ovens Park and Museum including hiking trails, plus much more. Container Albatross is a new container Home near Fall Creek Falls State Park in the heart of the Upper Cumberland. Container Albatross features a fully functional kitchen, (mini fridge, induction cooktop, and convection microwave) a queen bed, a full bathroom, fire pit, hammock chairs, and several additional amenities listed below! The area is filled with shopping, restaurants, hiking, waterfalls, state parks, kayaking, and much more!Container Albatross is a 20ft container home with an open living space and kitchen. There is a queen bed and a smart tv with Netflix and a variety of games and books to keep you entertained during your stay. The house has wifi and a desk space making it a perfect spot to catch up on some work if needed!The kitchen has 2 person dining bar, mini refrigerator, convection oven, 2 burner stove top, Keurig, cooking spray, salt and pepper. It also has a full dish set, pots, pans, mixing bowls and all of the essential utensils. We provide coffee, creamer and sugar as well. There is a small full bathroom which has a 1 person shower, a Cinderella Incineration toilet and all toiletries needed during your stay!There is a 8ft x 20ft covered front porch with swinging hammock chairs for relaxing. There is also a large fire pit area to enjoy! If you are looking for any particular thing to do during your stay, we would love to provide you with recommendations for things to do and adventures to enjoy.Other Details to note:-We are located in a some what rural area where you might not have any cell reception. We recommend stepping on the front porch to get service if needed. Enjoy waking up in our 650sq ft, open floor plan cottage with a wood burning flame view stove, on our homestead with a large private Mountain Lake and 77 wooded acres to hike and enjoy! We have seasonal flowers such as daffodils, peonies, lavender, dahlias and more. We also have on the farm a variety of Farm Animals (chickens, turkeys, peacocks, geese, horses, dogs, cats and 1 pig) that love interacting with visitors. Our private lake is available for catch and release fishing, swimming, canoeing and kayaking. There is a propane grill for your use.Other nearby sites include historic Chattanooga, Tennessee Aquarium, beautiful Rock City Gardens and Ruby Falls attractions along with several local state parks with waterfalls at Fall Creek Falls , Savage Gulf and Rock Island State Parks for further Tennessee exploration.
