If you want to move to north to the north of Viitaniemi, you need a border permit. The border zone is approximately 100 m wide. You also need a border permit if you go skiing on a ski track in the area. In the cottage there is a map with more detail about the areas where you can go. The lake is marked with yellow buoys. If you do not go to the border zone, you can spend holiday in this cottage just like in any other cottages. Border zone permit is not a fishing license. If you want to fish on the lake, you need a fishing permit in addition to the border zone permit. Border zone permits can be purchased at Kolmikanta border guard station or from website www.raja.fi.
