Really enjoyed the rustic feel to the place. Bed comfy, bath was a nice touch and the room was very homely. Staff were very friendly. Breakfast was nice but didn’t like the ‘gammon’ style bacon and tomato chutney instead of a proper tomato. Would 100% recommend.

If you are looking for somewhere for fast junk food, then this is not the place for you. The Bulls Head has still retained its village pub feel, however Mark and his dedicated team have created a stunning menu with fresh produce and the result is just perfect. Our large group called in for a pre arranged lunch and were treated to a 8 course Taster Menu. Every course was tasty and delicious, served by very hardworking and caring staff, nothing was too much trouble. We will return. My only disappoin**ent is that I live 40 miles away, otherwise I would eat there every week!!

Exceptional cooking and presentation - although we only enjoyed a main course from the bar menu there was no compromise on the obvious care and attention that had been made. This was reflected in the exceptional taste of every element on the plate - a humble chicken supreme was elevated to a gastronomic experience! Thank you.

Excellent room & facilities. We stayed in the Cotton Mill room, with an amazing copper bath & walk in shower. NYE Dinner was fantastic, and a great breakfast the next morning topped off our stay. A truly lovely, relaxed a**osphere

We also found this great little place after booking it through the Porsche club. Having eaten at some really great fine dining restaurants this was easily on par with those at an exceptionally reasonable price. The kitchen staff worked tirelessly the afternoon we were in, & Mark & his team were extremely hospitable. We can't wait to go back. That village is very lucky to have access to a superb place like the Bulls Head

Amazing taster menu and simply awesome food! Mark takes passion and pride in his work and this shines through….. staff and service excellent. Felt totally pampered throughout. The portion sizes and variety involved are just right. Really eclectic mixes of food and vegetables and sauces; an education!

Big statement time, best food I can remember eating ever. We had the big taster menu and accompanied wine flight which paired perfectly. Every course was interesting and surprising both visual and in flavour, Mark is a genius and the service was informative and knowledgeable and added to the experience. If you want fine dining for a special occasion I can assure you that this will impress.

This is not a 5 star establishment, food was ok, lock on door didnt work but fixed after mentioning, carrying your luggage through the public indoor and outdoor bar, not suitable accommodation for disabled. For the money we paid is no way justified, you're not even asked how you want your eggs cooked for breakfast!

This is our 2nd trip to this fabulous pub/hotel I always sleep so well here. We eat in the Restaurant and go with The Chefs Menu as we love Marks' food choice. Highlight dish of this trip was the Halibut.
