The Wynne House Inn

This was an amazing day experience. Beautiful property that is immaculately maintained.

The Wynne House is a beautifully restored 1872 home with many period touches. We stayed in the downstairs bedroom, which has a private bath. The room was small but well-appointed and the mattress was quite comfortable. Rachel served us a delicious breakfast and showed pictures of the extensive restorations on the building. The Wynne House was a delightful place to end one day and be fortified for the next day.

I missed on *********** the upstairs room we booked for two nights had no private bathroom. The ruby room was dark, had but a single, tiny mirror on the wall, a night table on only one side of the bed, and only one bathrobe (I asked about that and was told that’s all they had). The bathroom was only accessible by going down the hall, then down two steps into the laundry area. There was no one there when we arrived, so had no idea there was a downstairs bedroom with a private bath until sweet Rachel told us the next morning at breakfast (we were packed and ready to change B & B’s and just eat the second night’s cost). We did switch, and that was better. The owner was there the second morning, and was quite defensive about the beautiful but dangerous stairway to access the upstairs, and in general was not warm and gracious as we have experienced from other B & B owners. She even commented some people didn’t like anything, with which I agreed. Their literature says sign the guest book but don’t leave anything negative. We didn’t sign. And there is no live-in. The breakfast neither morning was much, not what we are accustomed to at B & B’s, That said, they do have good security for parking and access, and the property is lovely.

Quaint little cottage. Beds a little dated and made noise with every little movement but fairly comfortable.

Fabulous B&B outside of Oxford. Gorgeous little mansion. Modernized bathroom. Comfy beds. Homemade breakfast to die for. Highly recommend.

I have stayed there twice, and they were both lovely visits. Most recently, we stayed in the Hummingbird Cottage and it was absolutely adorable. Rachel brought us fresh coffee and a delicious breakfast, which was such a treat.

Property is beautiful. Awesome southern charm from the owners. A must stay if in the area.

A Beautiful B&B that is clean . The staff is friendly and accommodating . Fantastic breakfast. Pretty neighborhood and a quaint town. Strolled around and enjoyed the sites. We Will be back for sure!
