The Baobab Bush Lodge, No Self Catering

Wonderfully, complete, new and very clean lodges on a fantastic location in the park. Exactly like the fotos on internet. Wildlife around the lodge and very nice pool, bicycles and even motorbikes. Very very friendly owners, they have made this place perfect and they know all activities and good restaurants nearby. An unforgettable experience for us with our 3 kids for 2 weeks.

Great service, great people. All round amazing stay. Everything from the view to the high speed internet was exceptional. The road in from Hoedspruit is easy and plesent, the placement in HWE also meant that one is likely to see wildlife in the area.

I had one overnight stay at this beautiful Baobab bush lodge located in the quiet and beautiful bush with amazing wildlife just outside your door. The rooms are Nice and clean and all the staff are very friendly and helpful with everything. Thank you for a lovely stay.

My time at The Baoab Bush Lodge was really special. The first day that I arrived I immediately knew I was in paradise. The sight of all the suites with the pool in the middle is very beautiful, you can feel the relaxing atmosphere and that you're one with nature. The pool has an infinity waterfal and during the night the pool is lighted which is very luxurious. Beside the pool is a place with two chairbeds that are facing the bush. That is real reality tv. You can just sit back, relax and watch animals that are frequently coming to drink from the small pool of water that is strategically placed for the animals. The most amazing part was the hospitality of the owners: Edwin and Kirsten. They make you feel at home in an instant and you can have good and very fun conversations with them. They have a lot of crazy stories about their life in the bush and how they realised their dream by starting the lodge. I slept in the Leopard suite which is very beautiful. The best part of the room was the outside shower. Showering while having a green deck of leaves and the blue sky above is an amazing feeling, I did that every morning. But in the evening there is also a light for the outside shower, so that is even more special. But inside was also a really good shower. The Boabab Bush Lodge is situated in the Hoedspruit wildlife estate and it is directly neighbouring the bush. So you can just walk of the terrain, straight into the bush and see a lot of animals. When I was walking the dogs I frequently saw giraffe, impalas, zebra's and many many beautiful birds. I bet you can't have that in your home town. Another benefit of the location is that the wildlife estate does not allow light pollution. Therefore you can see soo many stars at night, you can even see the milky way. It is a truly unique safari experience.

Fantastic location, beautiful setting, amazing hosts, perfect SA experience. The best of all things. I loved it, i chose it for the outdoor shower, recomend it for everything it offers.

Lodge exceptionnel, très bien décoré. Piscine et jardin très agréable. Hôte accueillant et sympathique. Lit confortable.

Een bezoek aan deze plek geeft je alles wat je van Zuid-Afrika verwacht of zou willen. Overnachten en verblijven middenin de wild life en alle activiteiten die je maar wens. Van een game drive tot quad rijdenn en van zwemmen bij de waterval als een boottocht bij de Blyde Dam. Het ontbijt is gevarieerd en goed verzorgd en de Pizza experience is een aanrader. Kirsten en Edwin zijn FANTATISCH.
