Beautiful area on the edge of the Olivants river. Area clean, neat and very well taken care off. Wildlife to be seen and felt directly from your own room terrace and restaurant. Excellent game drives with experienced and friendly rangers, lots of various animals seen at close distance. We had the feeling that if a wish came into our mind, somebody at the lodge had already thought about it and fullfilled our wish. Very good food and wines on all the meals. Personnel helpful and friendly.

I recently hosted my wedding there and I have zero regrets. The stay FAR exceeded expectations. The rooms are so comfortable and look like they have recently been updated! Looking out straight onto the olifants river, with hippos in the water, elephants walking by, and some resident bushbuck and waterhogs. The food was amazing (geniunely was very impressed), with matched local wines! Definitely recommend the morning omellete (a big hit with the friends and family). Twice daily game drives were also awesome, be sure to do the PM drive to enjoy a sundowner and a drink. The highlight though had to be the staff. So accomodating, and genuinely seemed to care about our stay. Nothing ever seemed to be an issue. They will remain the highlight of our stay! We look forward to staying again.

Our family of four which includes 2 adult children stayed at Nyati to attend a family members wedding. Fantastic accommodation, facilities excellent. Early morning game drives worth getting up early for and also enjoyed all the afternoon drives. Always experienced some different.

This place clicked boxes I didn't even know existed. The accommodations were over the top. All riverfront. We only spent 3 nights, but there was animal activity every night. Elephants and hippos in and along the river, monkeys on our deck - between the game drives and the accommodations it was a very immersive experience. The food was elegant and plentiful. The staff was eager to make sure every need was met. They even picked up medicine in town when my wife developed some stomach issues. The location is perfect, and they have finding animals on game drives down to a science. The guides were capable, professional, and friendly. We really enjoyed our stay. Front office staff were genuinely amazing.

We have just had a repeat visit to Nyati. My husband first went with his brother and sister and knew that we would enjoy it as a family so went last year for 3 days. This was not enough time so this year we spent 5 nights there and already plan to return next year. The game drives are 4 hours long in the am and pm and the ranges are very qualified and make them all different and interesting - special mention for Kayla and Gunter. This year we did the day trip to Krugar with Nyati and were a little concerned that it might be too long a day for our 3 children but we all had a great time. The accommodation suits us well in one of the family Oilphants villas which are cleaned very well, bed nets all in place for your return from dinner and the groundsman keeps around the area immaculate. The restaurant is lovely and there is a real charm to the dinner announcements and the food is lovely rather fancy for the bush and a lovely assortment of wines. A couple of nights a week if the weather is ok they have a boma dinner and this is a lovely change. Early to bed early to rise so cannot overindulge if you want to make all the drives. We have a marvellous collection of photos from this recent trip and look forward to adding to this collection next year. Dont hesitate you will enjoy it here.

Such a wonderful experience with amazing staff and facilities. The staff were so helpful and accommodating. The facilities are unreal. We swan in our pool while watching the elephants play in the river. Truly a once in a lifetime experience.

Our experience at Nyati was absolutely wonderful. Everyone we encountered was kind and attentive to our needs. Our lodge was beautiful, with a view of the Oliphant River, where we could hear the sounds of the hippopotamus roaring. The four safaris we took were full of adventure and animals. Our very knowledgable guide, Nicholas, pointed out things we would have missed, especially when it came to insects and plants. We especially enjoyed the morning muffins and coffee on our safari, as well as the snacks during the evening golden hour.The meals we were served were delicious, abundant, freshly made, and healthy. I heartily recommend going to the Nyati Lodge!

My boyfriend (now fiancé) proposed along side the beautiful river at sunset! All thanks to our guide Daniel. He took us on a private game drive and he helped my fiancé choose the perfect spot. The facility is breathtaking and the people who work there, are so kind and my fiancé could not have done better. Daniel our guide showed us everything he could his knowledge of plants, birds and the animals are astonishing. Patricia who also works there, is just so friendly and bubbly we loved talking to her, she made us feel right at home and comfortable. The management’s team who organised everything so effectively and helped him with everything, and me not knowing everything is something I would always remember. Thank you Nyati Lodge you were awesome 🤩 with your friendly staff and experienced guides I would never forget the place where I got engaged! I would definitely recommend Nyati lodge over and over and refer to everyone. I wouldn’t go anyplace else.

I have never been so nervous in my life. I had everything I need to propose except the place. I searched and searched and finally found NYATI. It is even better in person then on photos. I contacted them and told them about me wanting to propose there to my girlfriend (now fiancé) They almost immediately sprang into action giving us the perfect guide (who kept me on my toes everywhere he stopped, thinking is this it?) with so much knowledge I couldn't stop listening to the stories. Right before I was about to propose we had an encounter with a huge elephant! I was a nervous wreck but Daniel our guide was calm and collected and the elephant passed right next to us. It was breathtaking. When he finally found the perfect spot next to the river at sunset I knew this would be perfect. I asked and she said yes. He took us back where they decorated the room with flower petals and champagne. We went to dinner which was amazing I have never tasted such amazing food, hats off to the chefs. The facility is nothing short than breathtaking and they have the friendliest staff. I would definitely go there again and I would definitely recommend it to anyone seeking breathtaking views and lovely food.
