Molto suggestiva l’esperienza di dormire in tenda in mezzo alla natura e a pacifici animali. Staff davvero accogliente e disponibile (chef molto preparato e attento ad ogni esigenza). Abbiamo partecipato a due tour organizzati e customizzati ad hoc solo per noi ed è stata una validissima esperienza. Nel periodo invernale di notte può fare molto freddo e le tende non sono dotate di riscaldamento (solo di coperta elettrica e molte altre coperte).

January 27th - 4th February 2025 Back home from the most amazing stay in the tented bush camp aka camp bethel, best holiday ever! staff so friendly and welcoming thembi and her team work endlessly hard meeting your every need they treat you like royalty 👑 Tents are spotlessly clean and very comfortable, chef gibbs is amazing at his job he created some incredible dishes during our stay and then there is vusi the most amazing tour guide extremely knowledgeable and any questions he would answer, he took us on some amazing game drives and trips we saw everything and more. Wow wow wow thank you the the incredible team at camp for the most amazing experiences 👏

Thank you ☺️ for the holiday of a life time ! I have not one fault except it passed to quickly for me. The staff are amazing they make everyone feel so welcome & nothing is too much trouble. The place is clean /comfortable/aesthetically pleasing & just full of kindness. The service is amazing the food is magnificent honestly the best food. I am definitely heading back as it was like living a dream for our week. Special thanks to our guide JoJo a fantastic guide. Cant thank the full team enough. Lots of love from Scotland

This was my 7th South African safari and without a doubt this was the best yet. The camp is set in a tranquil location, the rooms are comfortable and have everything you need, even an electric blanket for the coldercseasons. Zebras, impalas and other small animals can be seen from your patio and at night we could hear the lions roaring from a nearby reserve. Thembi and her staff are wonderfully attentive without being overbearing, and what can I say about Chef Gibbs! I'm a vegetarian and he produced wonderful food every day, checking with all guests (there were 11 of us) that they were happy with the menu he had planned. We were up early every morning to go out on our safari drives and saw everything we wanted except the elusive leopard! This was the most wonderful holiday and would recommed it to anyone looking for that special safari experience.

I cannot express how special this place is. We had an amazing holiday at Camp Bethel, the personal service and care from all the staff is incredible. Two special mentions, one to Chef Gibbs who catered beautifully for everyone’s needs and likes, the food was delicious and plentiful . The second to our guide Phillip, a very informative and kind man taking care of all our safari group with attention to detail. The camp is set in a idilic location, with impala roaming freely, baboons running around and bush babies in the trees. The tents are very comfortable, and well equipped, fan, heater, electric blanket, tea/coffee making, hairdryer, fridge and cooking facilities on the deck area. Tents serviced every day, with bed time stories and chocolates left on your bed in the evening. We celebrated our 16th wedding anniversary in camp and we were presented with a delicious cake and singing of celebrations from the staff it was magical. We hope to return one day!

It’s difficult to put into words the overall experience as it was amazing! The hosts were very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this place and area to everyone who wants a safari experience they will never forget. The guides, staff and Chef were absolutely brilliant.

I honestly don't know where to start , the whole experience from start to finish was amazing, from the trip from the airport stopping at the animal reserve seeing some of Africa's wild animals for the first time to Mandela sanctuary, where the accomodation was beautiful and the food was divine, the wee tour telling you the history of the sanctuary, to the eventual arrival at Camp Bethal, to be greeted by the staff there, who go above and beyond to make your stay amazing.The beds were so comfortable and the electric blankets on the beds on the colder nights was a great touch. The animals wandering around the camp were great to watch, the safaris were well worth the early rise in the morning to see all these beautiful animals, back at camp the food was fantastic the flavours and some traditional foods were so very good, and I was fortunate enough to be surprised by a beautiful birthday cake which was absolutely delicious. The staff could not do enough for you we had many a good laugh singing and dancing , and as fir Jojo our guide for the safaris he was brilliant from explaining all about the animals and the country to showing us his traditional dancing. 100% would go back in a heart beat best holiday EVER

A dream holiday of a lifetime !!! Camp Bethel was great and was comfortable in the tents, double bed and very comfy inside with bathroom & shower. The team at the camp were amazing and anything we needed was never any problem, they bent over backwards to ensure our stay was as perfect as can be. Chef Gibbs made delicious food daily and consulted with us all a couple of hours before meals to ensure everyone was happy with his suggestion of meal choice and was happy to accommodate changes. Vusi our tour guide who took us everywhere on safari and on the excursions was such a lovely guy and a fountain of knowledge who's been doing this job for 31 years - You can see he loves it and is so passionate in his work. it was nice to have wild aninals wondering through the camp sometimes, we saw little cute Mpalas, a Zebra and other animals too. This place is booked up until end of 2025 so it speaks volumes to how popular it is. I would definitely recommend Camp Bethel and the safari experience to all.

Wow what a holiday, staff at camp absoutely fabulous, nothing was too much trouble, food by chef Gibbs was outstanding, catered for everyone even the fussy ones like my husband lol, all staff Thembi, Witness, Sipho, Elvis, Ntiyiso, Michelle, Ethel were lovely, very friendly and entertaining. Viso and Phillip our safari guides were brilliant, saw all the big five, worth the early morning starts, an absolutely brilliant holiday, couldn't fault anything about it.
