Best hotel during our 3weeks stay in Namibia. Unique location, very attentive staff and great activities

Отель находится в очень живописном месте! Домики очень уютные. По территории ходят ориксы. Есть бассейн, но вода в нем ледяная. Персонал умнички, очень стараются. На ужин шведского стола нет. Выбор по меню без напитков 395 нам дол. Завтрак скудноват.

Bella location a 15 minuti di auto da Hobas (ingresso al Fish River Canyon). Appartiene alla catena Gonwana che in zona ha altre 2 sistemazioni (Roadhouse e Lodge). Le camere sono belle e spaziose, il ristorante offre un bel buffet sia per la colazione che per la cena dove, in ogni caso, il piatto principale viene è on top a quanto offre il buffet e viene servito. La struttura offre gratuitamente una bella escursione a piedi su di una roccia costituita da un insieme del tipici massi locali. Consigliato

After ending up on the wrong side of the canyon from our intended destination (don''t ask), we came to Gondwana Canyon Village to ask directions, only to find out at 4 pm that we had about a 4-hour drive back to where we wanted to go. Luckily for us, the Village had a room available. We were treated so well by all of the staff and I have to highly recommend the manager on-duty who was nicknamed Kookoos (sorry if I misspelled it). What a lovely lady. We went on the sunset walk and came back and had an absolutely fabulous dinner (which is a buffet). The next morning we were treated to a delicious breakfast and our waiters Moses and Romero were very attentive. The grounds are well-maintained and really a fantastic, relaxing getaway. Our room was just a short walk away from the main building and it was very clean and private, with some much-appreciated heat during the Namibian winter night. I can't find anything negative to say about the Village or its staff. Thank you all for a memorable stay.

This is a beautiful place to stay. Full of character and beauty. The food was great, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and the setting, with quiver trees, was just magical. The gift shop is great. Proximity to the Fish River Canyon makes it an ideal place to stay. After dinner drinks by the fire was an added treat.

Individual air conditioned cottages set around a central area planted with kokerbooms with paths joining the cottages with restaurants and bar. Lovely pool with shaded boma and pool lounge chairs. Swimming towels are provided. Buffet dinners with a fantastic selection of meats and sides. Very friendly and helpful staff.

We stayed here one night with our Intrepid Tours Group. It’s breathtaking pulling in to see the hotel set in the rocks. The rooms and entire resort campus are beautiful as well. There is also a fabulous gift shop full of local handcrafts, and the buffet is accommodating to everyone. I’d highly recommend a stay here!

We absolutely loved our stay here. The little houses are super charming, food is very good, excellent breakfast and superb service. The setting is lovely, and very close to the canyon (15 min drive max). It is also much more worth the money than the canyon lodge, where we went for diner, next door.

Wonderful place to stay. We were on a driving tour, organised by others and had no clue where we were staying from one night to the next. This Gondwana Collection lodge set the bar for all the other places we stayed at (two others from the same owners). Our lodge room was spacious enough, excellent showers and comfortable bed with excellent linens and pillows. We had one issue with air conditioner unit, someone attended within 5 minutes and fixed this, great service. The food was fresh, good and plentiful, which is amazing considering you are almost in the middle of nowhere. The pool and view from it were a bonus. We would be very happy to stay there again
