Not the best but by far not the worst. Good staff. Top receptionist. At the beginning it was dirty. Due to the short notice from the app they didn't have the rooms anymore. So they gave us other rooms which obviously they weren't able to clean properly before. But the next day they did an excellent job and it was super clean. They even changed the from the beginning a bit dirty sheets even If we didn't complain about that. Book a day or a few before and you won't do anything wrong with this hotel.

My room was spacious, modern, and impeccably clean. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, with crisp linens and a variety of pillows to choose from. The bathroom was spotless and well-stocked with high-quality toiletries. I also appreciated the thoughtful touches, like the UNLIMITED complimentary bottled water.
The hotel boasts a range of amenities that made my stay even more enjoyable. The rooftop pool offered stunning views of the city skyline and was a great spot to relax. The complimentary breakfast buffet exceeded my expectations with its diverse selection of fresh and tasty options.

It's ok if you're staying for just 1 night. I chose this hotel because my regular go to hotel was fully booked and I was only staying for 1 night before flying off.
The room that I stayed in looks old and the TV was not working and there were no towels given and there was no hair dryer.
I know for the price that I am paying, I can't ask for much. But I can easily get a better hotel room with this little amount of money.

清潔で綺麗で広い部屋でした。決して新しくはないと思いますが、掃除が行き届き安心して滞在できました。
5階の部屋だったので大きな窓からは、ベトナムのビルが見え解放感がありました。またホーチミンに旅行の時は是非利用したいです。
朝食のバイキングを1日だけつけましたが、こちらはお勧めしません。果物が豊富なベトナムですが、2種類のフルーツしかありませんでした。あまり料理はこだわっていない感じでした。

L'hotel era in gran parte pulito. Ho chiesto una stanza tranquilla, così aveva una stanza al retro dell'hotel senza una vista reale, perché le camere di fronte possono essere rumorose con la strada. Era mostrato un piano inferiore e vide un canestro, così chiedeva un piano superiore che era dato, così non vidi alcun insetto, perché non vanno in piano superiore. Vicino ai principali siti turistici. Nota che la zona di notte diventa una zona rossa e luminosa con parlouri di massaggio vicino.

Stayed here for NY countdown. The location is central, at the District 1 ”Japanese Street”. Bustling and convenient area. When not enjoying their nice breakfast, there are plenty of eateries nearby. The rooftop bar and pool was good for viewing new year fireworks too.
However, a few setbacks deducted quite a few points.
1) faulty elevator at times (had to take the stairs sometimes, and be careful at the stairs as its ceiling is really low, my friend hit his head once)
2) hammering and drilling in nearby room or building at early hours (good thing is they let you switch room when dissatisfied)
3) first room had a weird smell (older room with Jacuzzi tub). The final room we got smelled nice (newer room with standard bathtub), but TV remote control and bathtub stopper were missing, had to ask for it
4) the final flaw that made my female friends very uncomfortable, was the clientele - many middle-aged men sitting or waiting around lobby area, ogling girls who walked by. Sometimes it's a group of men, sometimes they're paired with a local lady.
Other things to note:
- upon check-in, they will request to keep your passport throughout your stay. We were not going to do that, so we gave them VND500000 as deposit (which you'll get back when you check out)
- the toilet and shower/bath area are separate, however the walls and doors were made of frosted glass, rather see-through, might be awkward for some if you're not a couple

NnonchalantQuesto non è il solito hotel, è un'esperienza fuori dagli schemi. Abbiamo soggiornato in una camera doppia deluxe con un letto matrimoniale e un'amaca! Le camere sono arredate in modo estetico, con una grande piattaforma di legno che funge da base per il letto. L'arredamento è minimalista, i bagni erano puliti ed esteticamente gradevoli.
C'è un bar con rinfreschi che offre pile illimitate, acqua e birra. Anche la colazione è orientata al minimalismo, con meno scelta ma scelte sane.
Il personale è cordiale, siamo arrivati molto presto la mattina e siamo stati accolti da Thomas, che è stato così gentile da guidarci nella zona circostante e dove potevamo trascorrere il tempo. Hanno un deposito bagagli per gli ospiti che effettuano il check-in anticipato o il check-out posticipato, a seconda delle necessità.
Nel complesso, abbiamo trascorso un soggiorno piacevole e memorabile al The Hammock, lo consiglio vivamente.

ZZel ChongFREE ROOM UPGRADE AND EARLY CHECK-IN! I booked a total of 4 nights in two separate bookings as Trip.com had promo codes. I booked Deluxe Twin room and only found out that this room had no windows (they changed the room name to Narra no windows a few days before my check-in date), and I was sad that I could not cancel the booking as it was prepaid. To my surprise, they upgraded my room to Premier Twin room (with windows) for free when I checked in, without me even asking! I have been to ho chi minh 4 times now and this was the best stay I had experienced in ho chi minh. I always researched the hotels by reading all the reviews before finally booking one, and I am really glad I booked Silverland May Hotel!!
Pros:
- Early check-in at 12+pm (usual check-in 3pm)
- No language barrier with the staff (all staff understood English pretty well)
- Buffet breakfast had at least 2 variations, they also have a separate menu offering food choices off the normal buffet spread (you can ask them for it) (best choices: almond croissants & ham, egg and cheese sandwich)
- Hotel Spa is a MUST TRY. I tried it and did not go for outside spas that I had planned to go. Went to the hotel spa and did 3 services in 2 days!
(1) Relaxing Package costing 1,200,000 VND (2hrs): Swedish massage, Body scrub (exfoliate with himalayan salt), Body wrap (nourish in oat & milk i believe)
(2) Facial spa costing 900,000 VND (~45min): Mild exfoliation and nourishment (my face felt super clean and brightened a lot after the spa! would do it again if i could)
(3) Hotstone massage costing 800,000 VND (1hr): just wanted to try a different kind of massage but I still prefer the swedish massage (the heat of the hotstones was out of my comfort zone haha)
- The hotel restaurant / cafe / in-room dining food choices were good too: best was the Beef Phó, it had more ingredients than phó selling outside. We went to the hotel cafe and was surprisingly offered 50% off our cakes so of course we had to order! The cafe offers the same food menu that the hotel restaurant offers, they will cook it and serve it to you if you are sitting in the cafe at Level G.
- Free afternoon tea (but I missed all four days of the tea session so no comments)
- Rooftop pool was very pretty and chill.
Cons:
- The quality of the tissue in the hotel rooms are bad. So thin and filmsy (2-ply). I bought my own 3-ply tissue and did not use the tissue in the rooms at all.
- Could have offered disposable bedroom slippers which would be more hygienic.
- Water pressure was not very strong, had to stand so close to the showerhead.

MmegOverall a good value for money hotel. Lovely amenities and the breakfast and afternoon tea being included in the room rate is a nice touch. The walls between each room are very thin, so you could hear everything going on in the next room.

CConnieVery near to Saigon centre. But also very near to bars. Thus night time will be lively and may not be recommended for night walks unless you are interested in night activities. Hotel service is accommodating and very polite. Complete amenities and breakfast buffet is good. Enjoyable stay overall except for some noise due to the area. But quieten down by 1230am

UUtente ospiteI recently stayed at this hotel, and I have to say, the experience was extremely disappointing. Upon check-in, I wasn't informed about the hotel facilities or the breakfast hours and location. I also wasn’t given any guidance on how to get to the elevator. Beyond the bellboy service (where tipping was expected), the staff was not proactive at all in assisting with anything. I was especially shocked when I saw an elderly person get trapped by the elevator doors, and two bellboys standing by without helping.
On New Year’s Eve, I was looking forward to watching the fireworks over the Saigon River from my room, but the hotel’s own fireworks were so smoky that I couldn't see anything through my window (I was on the 10th floor!). The whole fireworks experience was ruined, and to make matters worse, the loud music continued for another hour, disturbing my sleep.
The breakfast experience was just as frustrating. Because I wasn't told where to eat the previous day, I accidentally went to a temporary dining room, which had no staff who spoke English, making it difficult to ask any questions. The food choices were extremely limited, and I was surprised to find no milk or basic breakfast items available. The food quality was far below the standards expected from a 5-star hotel. After some searching, I discovered the actual breakfast restaurant was downstairs, and the restaurant supervisor instructed me to carry my tray downstairs myself. This felt extremely inconvenient and unnecessary, and once I was downstairs, I was told to wait outside for a table to become available. Standing outside with two trays of food in my hands felt humiliating, especially in a 5-star hotel.
The downstairs restaurant did offer more variety, including smoked salmon, cured ham, and waffles, but by the time I made it down, I had already eaten most of my breakfast, so I didn’t get to fully enjoy it.
Finally, when I went to pick up my luggage from the front desk, I was asked to search through a pile of luggage to find my own. I asked how I was supposed to identify it in such a pile, and even if I could, I couldn’t move all the luggage around by myself. This was not only inconvenient but also frustrating.
Overall, I can only give this hotel 2 stars. One star for the hotel’s physical facilities, and the other because the review form doesn't allow for a zero-star rating. Otherwise, I would have rated it even lower. This stay was a huge letdown and didn’t come close to the 5-star experience I was expecting. Both the service and the amenities were severely lacking. I hope the hotel takes this feedback seriously and improves for future guests.

RRamir M.Saigon Prince Hotel’s location is the best! The hotel is right infront of Saigon Square and is very close in proximity to the Cafe Apartment. Although, it can be a bit noisy, especially if your room is located facing Saigon Square, due to events that may happen in the Saigon Square, the program usually ends at 10 in the evening which is acceptable for me and my family.
