Comfortable bed, friendly staff and reasonable quality (but expensive) food available in the lobby restaurant. Sadly, everything else is tatty and in need of a full refurb. Including the rooms, which have noisy, struggling aircon, creaking floors and, almost the worst of all as it creates the most frustrating impact on business and personal communications - absolutely horrendous WiFi connection (an utter rip off, even at £5 per 24hrs) with poor stability and slow, intermittent download speeds. Not a good experience for the price of a room. A pity, as I have stayed in much better Premier Inn locations.
