We had such an amazing time at Haritha Villas for our honeymoon. We arrived late at night from Colombo, around 9PM, and Axel, the general manager, was there waiting to greet us. He explained the whole concept of the property, which felt really personal. Since it was our honeymoon, they initially upgraded us to a colonial villa, it was grand and a beautiful room, but we really wanted to experience the contemporary villa so they kindly accommodated this request. One of the things that makes Haritha so special is that you’re looked after by a dedicated butler. We were lucky to have Ishanka, who guided us through everything during our stay. He made sure we were always well taken care of, even checking in on us when we weren’t at the property, like when he arranged our beach day with transport, sunbeds, and helpful tips, constantly on WhatsApp to make sure we were well looked after. His care and attention was truly always above and beyond. We went for the half-board option which meant two meals a day. The food was lovely, always made to order from a changing daily menu, every meal felt fresh and different each day. The chef also added little creative touches, like an amuse bouche which was super cute. As for the property itself - S T U N N I N G. The villas are immaculate, surrounded by nature, with private pools and a big shared pool that’s just as beautiful. We spent a lot of time there too. The spa is another highlight, getting a massage in the middle of all that greenery is something else. Overall, it was the perfect place to disconnect and exactly what we wanted for our honeymoon. A huge thank you to Ishanka, Axel, and the whole team at Haritha. It wasn’t just the setting that made our stay so unforgettable. It was the people.
