Holiday Inn Express & Suites Sebring

I checked in at this property at about 4 pm for a one night visit, it is very well-kept and has a “different” exterior color scheme than most Holiday Inn’s. It is situated on a parcel right behind a Denny’s which is 24 hours and a short walk across the parking lot. When I checked in I was promptly greeted by the front desk agent & manager. Due to me being an IHG rewards member they upgraded me from a standard king room to a suite and gave me a coupon for a free snack and drink from the express mart in the lobby. It includes a variety of candy, chips, and drinks which are available for purchase 24/7. At the time of my visit the hotel was under renovations, as informed by a sign in the lobby; as well as being told at check in that the pool was under renovation. This particular property is 3-stories and I was given the choice at check in to be on the second or third floor. I chose the top floor which I normally request every visit. The room was spacious and clean, since I was upgraded to a complimentary suite I had a small “living area” with a desk and pull-out sofa. My room was very clean and everything worked as expected. There are a variety of different restaurants in addition to the Denny’s across the parking lot within a short driving distance as well as dollar and convenience stores. There is a hot breakfast available at 6-9 in the morning which, I chose not to utilize; rather the Denny’s. However, I would imagine it includes the standard pancake machine, cereal, scrambled eggs, etc. I was also granted a late check-out, however only for an additional hour, which was fine. Overall, I would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting the area if I ever find myself needing a hotel in Sebring or the surrounding areas I will gladly be back!

Everything was so clean and new. Loving the new updates. I stayed a few years on another work related job, the hotel looks different. Almost like a brand new hotel. Great job by the crew working on it. All staff had great attitudes. This will be my go to hotel for this area.

The A/C was making a loud rattling noise in the first room. We aren’t people to complain and tried to deal with it but at 2am we couldn’t sleep and asked to change rooms. That was a mistake. In the second room the carpet was DAMP for no apparent reason, piles of hair and stains on the floor by the fridge, stains on the furniture, and bugs by the window. I paid waaaaaay too much for this experience and never again will I stay at a Holiday Inn.

The room was exceptionally clean (even the remote was left in a plastic bag post cleaning for my use). The several employees at the reception desk on my arrival and departure were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The woman in charge of the breakfast area was likewise friendly, helpful and anxious to make my breakfast a very pleasant experience. I was given a very quiet room on an upper floor (per request for a quiet room) facing a grove of pine trees - lovely. The management was considerate of my request for an upper floor for noise control, and did not place me on the top floor because of ongoing remodeling. I heard no noise from it at all. I definitely recommend this partiular Holiday Inn, especially for the best hotel staff that I have encountered in a long time.

Very clean, safe, comfortable and peaceful even though they were fully booked! I would stay here again if ever in my Moms’ old hometown!♥️. We also ate at The Roost at Four Season in Frostproof. It was absolutely delicious! Sebring is an old quaint town that I loved visiting as a young child!

Our first time to the area and attended the Florida Flywheelers Show on Wednesday. This hotel was very nice. Close to Show. Has a wonderful Dennys out front that we ate at twice. The pool was beautiful. U Just everything was great.

Except for the bed, our room seemed like it was designed for children. The sink area is maybe 2.5 feet wide. Barely enough room for one person to put their stuff, let alone a couple. And the toilet is tiny. No way a larger person could fit on this thing. The bed was newer and comfortable. The lobby is small, too. Each morning the entire area smelled like pancakes and bacon, which in most cases would be terrific, but the air was warm and stale (no circulation).

Super stay at this property combining business with pleasure in central Florida. I found the stay to be excellent with clean rooms, a great lobby, an AMAZING breakfast (you gotta try the cinnamon rolls!), and super friendly staff. The pool area was pleasant and since the property is off the main road, remarkably peaceful. The gym equipment was in great working order as well. I would most definitely stay here again, and highly recommend its easy location to all that is Sebring and its vicinity!

I was very disappointed with my stay as the reviews were good. The check-in staff was pleasant and check in was easy. Upon retiring to our room at about 10:30 pm (we had family in another room) I took off my shoes and after stepping on the floor my socks were soaked. The when I finally laid down to sleep there was a disgusting overwhelming smell of mold and cigarettes (?). Was very tired at this point and was caring for my elderly mother so moving to another room at this point was not an option. The toilet actually had what I believe to be feces smeared on the side and the pool had millipedes. The room itself was dirty as if the above issues weren't enough. I went to the front desk in the morning and after sharing just some of the issues I was not even offered an apology. I was told the room was in the middle of being remodeled (that was obvious) and due to the hurricane that was all they had. Mind you I had booked almost a month in advance and prior to my family in an okay room down the hall.
