Astra Village & Suites

The hotel is in a perfect location for the villages. Our room was quite dated and could do with some modernisation. The air con was good, but you do need to pay 7 euro's a day to use. The hot water went off twice, but they fixed quickly. We overlooked the sea and the rooms were super quiet. Staff really friendly. Breakfast was basic. Never had an issue getting a bed, they had two small pools and both nice. Would I stay here again, yes I probably would but would look to see if there are updated rooms. The location wins it every time for me. It did however have quite a few steps so anyone with mobility issues may struggle with some of the rooms (like the one we were in) but others would be fine

We visited Astra Village this month and were so impressed with this accommodation. Firstly we visited with our 18 month old son and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. We arrived to a spacious travel cot set up in our room with a toddler pillow, and were provided with a high chair at breakfast and one for our room too. The ladies at breakfast and at the bar made the effort to engage him and to bring him his own special bowl. Our room was spotless (Junior Suite) and was kept lovely and tidy throughout the week by the hard working cleaner. The whole resort is immaculate with all areas cleaned daily. Astra Village is located right in the heart of the main street. This is extremely handy and you are surrounded by at least ten fantastic restaurants. It has a lovely family feel and despite being on the main road it is nice and quiet in the rooms. Breakfast at the resort is nice with a selection of more “British” and “continental” breakfast items, and the area is kept cool and very clean. The pool bar is reasonably priced and food served throughout the day is good. We were able to pay to change into a different room on our check-out day so that we were not outside all day until our flight. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Astra Village and (despite all the stairs!) would recommend this to other young families.

We didn't stop at the apartments but the bar on the main road was brilliant! We went every night and we were welcomed warmly x became good friends and my hubby made the micki/vicki cocktail with Pedro..🤣 x Please go in and enjoy they also serve snacks during the day..

Stayed there with my friend who had been before. The rooms was lovely and modern. The pool area was great, no rush for sunbeds. The staff were extremely friendly. The lady on reception was so helpful too. Went to the bar every evening and was made to feel very welcome by the bar chaps. Chatted and had a laugh. Would certainly come again

I booked a studio at Astra Village. The studio was comfortable, had a good shower and bed and the room was clean. Friendly staff, especially the bartenders. They know how to let you feel comfortable, give a good service with a smile and make the best cocktails. I spent my evenings there and had a great time. Definitely will come back.

We have bin a lot of times at Crete, and this was our first time at Astra Village. We stayed at a junior Suite. It was a perfect en big room and very clean with seeview. Every morning we had breakfast with fresh food. The staff was always kind and trying to help. A drink at the bar in the evening is recommended. The bartenders are hospitable and do their best to ensure guests have a pleasant evening. We will definitely come back to Astra Village again!
