Hotel in zona Stadtgarten Wanne-Eickel, Herne

Viel Schatten, wenig Licht es gibt in diesem Hotel zwei verschiedene Kategorien: Standard und Superior wir hatten Superior gebucht. Am Samstag bei Anreise wurden wir sofort gebeten, die Zimmerrechnung zu bezahlen. Das ist ungewöhnlich, aber ok. Als wir dann das Zimmer betraten, stellen wir fest, dass wir eine falsche Kategorie bekommen hatten. Also zurück zur Rezeption. Die junge Dame war völlig überfordert und bestätigte, dass wir ein Standardzimmer bekommen hatten und kein Superior. Sie holte sich Hilfe bei Herrn F. Welche Funktion er hat, wissen wir nicht. er hat sich nicht vorgestellt. Allerdings schaute er in den Computer und sagte, dass er jetzt am Samstag Abend nichts mehr tun könne, das Hotel sei ausgebucht. Als Kompensation und Entschädigung würde er uns für den folgenden Morgen zum Frühstück einladen, und ein Zimmerwechsel am nächsten Tag. Mehr könne er für uns nicht tun. Damit war das Gespräch für ihn beendet und wandte sich wieder seiner Restaurantkasse zu. Nach unserer Auffassung ist dieses Verhalten Betrug. Er hatte unser Geld schon kassiert. Für 2 Nächte Superior Zimmer! Am nächsten Morgen sprachen wir dann mit einer netten Kollegin an der Rezeption. Frau M. war im Gegensatz zu ihrem Kollegen kompetent und handlungswillig. Sie organisierte den Zimmerwechsel, erstattete den zuviel bezahlten Superioraufschlag und eine Kompensation für die gestörte Nachtruhe. Der Unterschied zwischen Standard und Superior ist die Lage: Hauptverkehrsstrasse und Innenhof. und wir hatten ausdrücklich Innenhof bestellt. Nach der positiven Überraschung an der Rezeption der zweite Schock: das Frühstück. Das Hotel wird durch die Lage zum Musical vornehmlich von Busgruppen frequentiert. Wir hatten uns schon erst zu 10 Uhr für das Frühstück vorbereitett, um dem Ansturm der Busgruppen aus dem Weg zu gehen. Aber es war eine Katastrophe! Die drei Servicekräfte waren heillos überfordert. Schlachtfeld trifft es wohl am Besten. und keiner der Mitarbeiter war in der Lage etwas Ordnung in das Chaos zu bringen. Wenn Sie irgendwie können, suchen Sie sich ein anderes Hotel! Und wenn Sie es schon nicht vermeiden können, dann buchen Sie unbedingt Superior. Erstens ist an Schlaf bei Zimmern der Standardkategorie zur Strassenseite nicht zu denken und zweitens finden Sie dort eine Einrichtung, die wohl noch aus dem 70er Jahren stammt. Die Superiorzimmer sind zur ruhigen Hofseite und sehen aus, als wenn sie in den 90er Jahren mal renoviert wurden. (auch schon 30 Jahre her....) Selbst die Nähe zum Musicaltheater macht es nicht erträglicher. Das Musical selbst ist auch nach 30 Jahren immer noch eine Reise wert!

Sono rimasto qui per 4 notti nel corso di un viaggio d'affari. Il controllo in corso era ben fatto e la squadra era molto accogliente. Ci sono stati alcuni biscotti di gingerbread in offerta tutto il giorno che era un bel trattamento. Avevo una stanza sul secondo piano vicino al centro fitness. La stanza era pulita, moderna e funzionale. Il bagno era spazioso con un asciugacapelli e un piatto per raschiatori/scuoti di denti elettrici. La camera era un po ' fredda e l'unità AC / riscaldamento non vedeva funzionare come previsto. I La parte inferiore era la doccia con una partizione di mezzo vetro e un piano relativamente piatto, questo significava che quando si fa la doccia, l'acqua scorrerebbe nel bagno. Ho dovuto usare i guanti forniti per pulire dopo ogni doccia. Il colazione era piacevole con una selezione di opzioni calde e fredde, diverse opzioni di pane e di diffusione. Succhi, acqua e caffè erano facilmente disponibili. Il personale del ristorante era molto buono. Il centro commerciale e la conferenza sono situati nel primo piano, e l'hotel offre parcheggio sul posto.

Ich hatte nicht gewußt, dass das Hotel direkt an das Musical Theater des ”Starlight Express” angrenzt. Fand ich zumindest interessant, auch wenn ich mir keine Musicals anschaue. Gut fand ich schon bei der Ankunft, dass es direkt am Hotel Parkplätze gibt. Ich war früher am Hotel als der früheste Zeitpunkt des Eincheckens. Das war kein Problem und ich mußte nicht in der Lobby warten. Fand ich sehr positiv. Das Zimmer war angenehm groß, ebenso wie das Bad und auch das Bett. Auch wenn das Zimmer direkt zum Autobahnzubringer lag, war der Verkehr nicht hörbar. Allerdings nur bei geschlossenem Fenster. Für Leute, die mit offenem Fenster schlafen, wird es laut! Das Frühstück war lecker und da war bestimmt für jeden etwas dabei. Einzig der Spa Bereich ist winzig. Im Saunabereich ist eigentlich nur Platz für max. 4 Leute: 2 in der Sauna, 2 auf der Ruheliegen. Ein Wort noch zu Bochum. Ich war noch nie dort und ich freue mich immer auf meinen Reisen, die bereiste Stadt zu Fuß zu erkunden. Vom Hotel sind es ca. 20Min bis in die Stadtmitte. Ich war total enttäuscht. An einem Sonntag Nachmittag war die City fast menschenleer. Vielleicht ist eine Auto freie Innenstadt nicht immer eine gute Idee...?

L'hotel è una casa fortificata convertita dal 13° secolo, con vaste aree per camminare in un bel sole di Pasqua. Il colazione è abbondante e vi è una buona scelta di cibo e un'offerta infinita di caffè. Le camere sono pulite, i letti confortevoli, e super-calmate. Se fosse tutto quello che sapevo di questo posto, sarebbe sufficiente raccomandarlo. Ma non è tutto quello che so. Ci sono altri. Cosa mette a parte gli hotel è attenzione ai dettagli. E questo hotel ha questo - tutti i piccoli tocchi che hanno reso il nostro soggiorno molto più bello, hanno spinto i letti insieme perché sapevano che eravamo sposati, hanno aperto le zone tranquille per noi di sedere e godere di un caffè. Ma ci sono ancora di più. Il personale è amichevole, competente e sempre li' per voi. È particolarmente menzionato il personale notturno, Ann-Christin e Erdal, che in qualche modo sono sempre riusciti a trovare il tempo per un bel chat con noi nonostante dover gestire molte cose all'uno all'altro. E' divertente.

Il personale era il più bello personale che abbia mai incontrato in un hotel. Erano sempre amichevoli e chiedevano come andava il nostro soggiorno ogni volta che andavamo alla porta. Erano anche in grado di consigliare posti per ottenere qualsiasi tipo di cibo che abbiamo bisogno. La signora mi ha aiutato molto quando ero fuori dalla salute. Un bel hotel d'affari nel cuore di Dortmund. Ho goduto il mio soggiorno per 5 giorni.

Had a great stay in Moxy Essen from 11/06/2023 – 14/06/2023. I was travelling around the Rhine Ruhr region with my friend (and we both have Marriott Gold elite status from staying in a Marriott for university). This hotel was in a great location right next to the HBF station in Essen and was clean and modern. The bar had a good vibe and we had free drinks on arrival. We used points for this stay, and the way that the points worked out meant that we had 2 different bookings over 3 nights, but this was not an issue and we managed to get the same room for the duration of our stay (we even got a bonus welcome drink for it)! I’m probably not going to do the hotel justice here, but it was a well laid out and stylish hotel with decent sized rooms. We had a twin room to share and the staff made extra effort so that we were on the quieter side of the building. We initially checked into the hotel at approximately 2pm, but decided to spend the afternoon in Wuppertal. When we arrived back on the first night. I had a shower, and there was no shampoo. No big deal, but I ended up going down to reception to ask for some. The man couldn’t find any shampoo, but about half an hour later, some appeared, I think he probably brought I from the shop as it wasn’t in the normal bright pink Moxy bottle, but it was really nice of him to make the effort. That day, the weather hit 32 degrees and whilst we were waiting for the shampoo, we tried to work out how the air conditioning worked. Between me and my friend that I was travelling with, we couldn’t work it out, so we asked the employee. However, between the 3 of us and Google we could not work it out. Anyway, I think we were the only people in the hotel that night as this was approximately midnight local time, and I think we went in every room in the corridor. To try and find one with working air con. All of them were empty! We eventually found one that wasn’t like a sauna and packed our stuff and moved. The employee was genuinely the nicest and most helpful employee I think I have ever seen in a hotel, very apologetic, but also very sociable. It was really nice to meet him as he was so happy to help. Unfortunately I didn’t get his name, but he had a ponytail I think and said he was Turkish. I think he will know who we are when he reads this! I saw him off duty in the bar the next night and thanked him. We even got 2 free breakfasts out of this!! The breakfast was good, though probably not worth the price we were told when we booked (I think it was about 15 euros but can’t remember as I have stayed in about 5 hotels in the past week and they have all rolled into one a bit). There was a few cooked items (Bacon & Scrambled Egg) and a few cold/ cereal items, but not loads. I probably wouldn’t recommend getting breakfast as all the Moxys allow a free coffee/ juice in the morning and a pastry, which is a nice touch. Günstige Lage, direkt in Dortmund City und Nähe Hauptbahnhof. Alles sauber, Frühstückspersonal spitze. 👍

Had a great stay at this Hotel for two nights from Wednesday 21st September, This Hotel is very fresh looking, I believe opened in 2021. A couple of hundred yards from the Central Station. You can see this Hotel directly in front of the Station. Turn left out of the Hotel and a further 5 minutes walk will take you to the pedestrian shopping area. Nice bedroom and bathroom with walk in shower. Nice breakfast and staff...nothing negative to say about this property. Intercity hotels are a great brand with fair prices. Well done to all staff.
