Postcard Perfect Idyllic Lemon Garden Setting As the world moves beyond pandemics and traditional hotel travel options, *********** & agoda have included many non-traditional accommodations for travelers to choose from. Some offer the convenience of modern amenities, larger spaces, kitchenettes and washing machines. They also provide a larger size to accommodate more travelers than a traditional hotel room. Most hotels we have come across within Western Europe are a stickler for rules that do not follow common sense. Positives + Absolutely fantastic host who is cheerful, helpful, and goes out of his way + Idyllic Lemon Garden setting in which you could easily pass the time painting and likely was overlooked by Van Gogh + Rustic charm both in the exterior and interior furnishings + Within a 10 minute walking distance of the Heraklion city center + Close by to a fantastic outdoor restaurant (beware most of Heraklion shuts at 10pm except the city-center) Negatives - Small Bathroom, in which it is easy to accidentally soak the floors - Minuscule Shower Stall - Small Dining room - Lack of privacy from any internal doors or heavy curtains (the shears did not do much; admittedly there are wooden shutters outside which you can physically close, and not sure if anyone can open to peak in) Beware roadside car parking which you can search out and find with some sleuthing, but the roads leading into and out of Lemon Garden are tight and almost impassable

Delightful courtyard with a lemon tree and private rooms featuring private kitchen and en-suite bathroom. Lovely modern design in old house and all in perfect working order. Very comfy beds. Quite area yet just 5-8 min by foot into the centre. We stayed in two of the rooms, having our own courtyard. Manos, the host took care of everything. An absolute gem, recommended.

This is a place to be. Hospitality is great and you are very well taken care. Manos is a great host and does everything that makes you feel home. The location is very good, close to the centre and same time in a quiey place. Each room has a different decoration and it gives a feeling of being welcome. Highly recommended

Πολύ όμορφο δωμάτιο με εξαιρετικό γούστο και υπέροχη αυλή. Ο Μανώλης εξαιρετικός και πολύ βοηθητικός σε ότι ζητήσαμε. Η τοποθεσια βρίσκεται στο κεντρο οπου τα παντα ειναι προσβασιμα με τα πόδια. Τα δωμάτια είναι ιδανικά τόσο για επαγγελματικό ταξίδι όσο και για ζευγάρια.

Εξαιρετική διαμονή για τέσσερα βραδια. Ειχε ολες τις μοντέρνες ανέσεις που μπορεί να ζητήσει κάποιος. Κοντά στο κεντρο της πολης με ιδιωτικό χωρο στάθμευσης. Αυτό που μας άρεσε περισσότερο ηταν που απολαμβάναμε το καφέ μας στον κηπο με τις λεμονιές και τις ροδιες .
