Beautiful place. Very modern Small room but theyve really done well with space saving. Made use of the coffee machine lovely touch Bed was really comfy Everywhere was clean Great location on the high street Easy to access no problems It was exactly what we needed and would definitely go back

RiosHouse is a lovely small hotel right in the centre of Henley. The rooms are very contemporary, very well appointed and very comfortable. The hotel itself is reception-less so they text you a code to get into the building and a different code to get into your room. It’s all very straightforward, very easy and works well. The fact there is no reception is not a problem, when I had a small issue I texted and they responded immediately. Of course it also means there’s no bar or restaurant, so no breakfast, but again this is not a problem as it’s right in the centre of Henley which is teaming full of bars and restaurants. The prices are very competitive and not much more expensive than the Wetherspoons pub hotel across the road and frankly there’s no comparison!

After initial good impression very disappointing. Although small, my room was to a good standard. Very contemporary and amenities good - coffee/tea making, iron and ironing board provided, and a small fridge with a couple of bottles of water. Check-in is easy peasie However my stay was spoilt by traffic noise virtually all night long, and bottle bins being filled by local restaurants first thing. Although secondary glazing has been installed, for some odd reason latches have been removed from original windows so they don’t close properly hence one can hear every noise outside, and totally ineffective in preventing heat loss. All easily remedied by spending a few quid in the local robert dyas. I ask myself if the owners have actually stayed overnight. The nearby Catherine Wheel charges about same and is probably worth considering as an alternative in this price bracket
