Just a weekend away, and we always book Hotels near the city center. The weapon of Hengelo is the perfect hotel to do that. This hotel is close to the center and is perfect. Very large spacious room, with everything on it very modern and clean. And the possibility to make coffee and tea in the room. Spacious and very comfortable bed and nice bath in the middle of the room and a nice bathroom. A nice couch in the room is also nice so you can sit and relax for a while. Very modern that you can use an app via your phone to open your hotel and room door. The adjacent restaurant is very nice, cozy and the food and coctails were delicious, something for everyone. There is no reception or breakfast room for breakfast. This was not a problem for us, we had breakfast with us as there is a fridge in the room. You can also walk into town and have breakfast there or get breakfast at the supermarket. Again a super nice hotel for a weekend getaway.

For us this hotel was perfect. Large spacious room, everything modern and clean. A kitchen with coffee/tea facilities. Spacious bed and nice bathroom. A sofa is also great so that you can sit comfortably. Furthermore, super modern that you can open your hotel and times with an app. The adjacent restaurant is beautiful, atmospheric and the food was delicious. See menu card on the website. Something for everyone. There is no option for breakfast. No problem for us (we got some sandwiches from the supermarket within walking distance, there is also a bakery where you can have breakfast nearby)

Mijn vriendin en ik verbleven afgeopen weekend in het Wapen van Hengelo en het was simpelweg heerlijk! De kamer was van alle benodigdheden voorzien en heel stijlvol ingericht, het inchecken ging makkelijk en de locatie was super (op loopafstand van het station en centrum)! Wij kunnen wel stellen dat dit de mooiste hotelkamer is waar wij zijn geweest. Echt een aanrader!😊

Ik vond de kussens te dik. Douchebakje was niet gevuld met zeep, ook op de kamer naast mij niet. We hadden af en toe problemen met het openen vd deur. En jammer dat er geen ontbijt service is helemaal op zondag. Verder alleen maar lof, mooie kamers, douche en toilet en heel schoon.

Buitengewoon fijn verblijf. Zeer ruime kamer met groot bad in de slaapkamer. Badkamer en suite en toiletruimte. Tevens een fijne zithoek met een prima bank en vloerkleed. Fatsoenlijk formaat (smart-) televisie zodat zonder inspanning vanuit het riante en heerlijke tweepersoons bed gekeken kan worden. Het à la carte restaurant is voortreffelijk. Alle ingrediënten voor een ontspannen verblijf, zijn aanwezig.
