Hotel in zona African American Museum of Nassau County, Hempstead

Our visit was 9/8-9/12/2021. We arrived after 10pm sign on door read -MASK REQUIRED_ AWESOME... and were warmly greeted and quickly checked in by the 2nd shift front desk employee. The hotel lobby was small but clean. We proceeded to our room on the 1st floor. The room was very clean, the bathroom clean and stocked well with towels, soap, etc. The furniture was in great condition. the room had 2 double beds and 3 pillows on each bed. Everything was pretty good up to this point. Then I sat on the bed.. I thought I was sitting on a table! The mattresses are HARD! If you like a hard mattress great but if not you had a few nights of little sleep like I did. The housekeeping staff did good job and were always friendly. We appreciated the decent rate as other places in the area were at $200+ a night. If you want more luxury be prepared to pay it with another hotel brand. All in all ... I would return because of the reasonable rates and put up with a lack of decent sleep due to a hard mattress. The Econo lodge served its purpose for a decent price. The location was great. Close to my friends/family, parkways, restaurants, shopping mall, and great Long Island diners.

This was an excellent choice for my friend and me. We had a room with 2 double beds. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom shower was excellent. The hotel was very quiet. Since I have to eat gluten free, there weren't alot of choices for breakfast but the eggs, fruit and oatmeal were good. The staff were all friendly and so helpful. I enjoyed being able to sit in the area near the amazing fish tank and charge my phone while reading or eating. The front desk person who was on duty on Saturday morning, June 10 deserves a special shout out. My friend and I were in a serious car crash when leaving the hotel and the manager couldn't have been more kind and caring. We sat in the hotel lobby for hours collecting ourselves and figuring out transportation. Again, the desk clerk offered us water, asked if we wanted anything to eat, kept an eye on us and made us feel cared for. I am sorry I didn't get his name but he deserves to be recognized for the kindness he showed us.

Tutto è stato fantastico! Mi è piaciuto molto l'hotel e la camera (super pulita). Il mio unico aspetto negativo era il letto. SUPER SUPER scomodo: ( era come dormire su un mattone.

Vale la pena di soggiornare in un viaggio, e una buona esperienza.La sera che siamo arrivati, il personale dell'hotel ha preparato il letto aggiuntivo e ha detto che siamo arrivati troppo tardi per non coprire il letto aggiuntivo.L'intero castello è molto caratteristico, è un punto di vista Taylor swift MV, e può anche usare cena e bar. È meglio che sia in anticipo, puoi fare altre foto prima di rimanere.

Un ottimo hotel. Il bar della hall è completamente attrezzato con forno a microonde, acqua calda e caffè. Il servizio è attento. Lo stile dell'arredamento delle camere è relativamente elegante. La palestra e la piscina sono entrambe buone. Abbiamo prenotato un hotel per la piscina, la temperatura dell'acqua era adeguata e la guardia di sicurezza era molto seria e responsabile. L'hotel si trova nel quartiere cinese di Flushing. Un po' fuori dai dintorni c'è la strada principale di Flushing. Sembra comodo come arrivare in Cina. Potrai soggiornare di nuovo qui la prossima volta che verrai.

Un hotel molto piacevole, anche se non può essere confrontato con il ricco uomo domestico, ma l'hotel è nuovo e igienico. La colazione è la più ricca di me in questo viaggio. Haha, in particolare il caramello blu e il caramello della sua famiglia sono particolarmente deliziosi 😋, e ci sono acqua di frutta congelata ogni giorno, Naturalmente, la cosa principale è che la stanza ha una piccola cucina, tutti i piatti sono pieni, si può semplicemente fare 🍳

Il servizio era buono e pulito. Controlla e controlla facilmente. consiglia.

* Parking - small lot under the hotel between the poles everywhere- hard to navigate and park near but space is limited and it is NY so I get it. *Location- nice centrally located in surprisingly high end area. Great food right nearby. * Service- let me just say the housekeeper was great! Friendly and takes pride in her work. In sharp contrast though, the front desk staff female - needs some serious customer service training. Walked inside to check in to her finishing an obvious personal call by the context and a hand being thrown up to us as we waited for her to finish making her after work plans. Simple Issues during check in that became larger on her part as we obviously inconvenienced her and she literally argued room type listed in printed copy of reservation. Get through that and then sent to room and Room 1 - no heat or ac working, floor creaking and uneven which was odd, weird smell (assuming from ac issue). Returned to desk to discuss and she sadly, seemed to enjoy the fact there was an issue. So sent us and all our stuff to Room 2- bed great surprisingly comfy bathroom clean, older room but is just a place to lay your head while in town. Keys however mysteriously kept not working but ironically enough only when she was on shift over the course of several days. Male morning desk person, very friendly and helpful with directions. He always was being personable with guests other than ourselves, obviously enjoys his job. *Room 2 was directly under room 1 which became occupied on day 2 and we spent the next two days in the evenings listening to extremely loud floor squeaks as the guests above us moved. They were night owls and this went well into the night. We ended up meeting them at breakfast and it was an interesting conversation as they noticed all the same listed above. *Breakfast- decent but no home run. For age and size of hotel, it was well set out and had what you needed to start the day. I would strongly say to just stay somewhere else. It was clean which was good but overall even as a place just to lay your head it is best to avoid.

This hotel is the only one in the area so that's the only reason we booked. The first night there was a single chirp every 30 seconds. I figured a smoke alarm had a low battery. I traced it down to the room next to ours. You could hear it as soon as you got off the elevator. I asked the front desk to check on that room....and it obviously had to be empty. At about midnight and everything quiet.....except for the still chirping every 30 seconds I went back to the front desk and was told they would go up there right away and take care of it. The next morning once again I had to to to the front desk and they finally went to the room and fixed it. Later that day we purchased some soft drinks from a store and I went to get ice.....but the single ice machine was not working. The manager said it would be 45 minutes before they fixed it. A couple hours later there was an out of order sign on it, and it remains there still. Do they get some ice so guests can fill the ice buckets in the room? No. Then the TV stopped working. Not the TV itself but their satellite system. A few channels started working but still not working all day. Overall a very poor experience with this hotel.
