Be prepared you are paying for a room and that's exactly what you get. Staff are friendly and the rooms clean so if all you are doing is getting your head down and you can stand the constant hum throughout the night you'll be OK. There are literally no facilities on site and you have to go to the garage next door to buy anything you need. This is a throwback to the bad old days of Travelodge. There are no power points for electricals next to the beds. No USB charging points. Its in the middle of nowhere but you still pay £3 for overnight parking. Who the hell is going to come all the way from the nearest town to to park thgere. Severely under impressed.

The hotel was very clean, and quiet despite being by a dual carriageway. Having to pay for parking and the internet is annoying, as this is offered free at other hotels, and also the hotel is out of town so there should be no need to charge for parking. Beds were comfortable. The lack of onsite restaurant means Kendal or a takeaway are your options, which is a bit disappointing. Overall, pretty satisfied. My main complaint would be about the inadequate breakfast with no choice of items.

The hotel is ideally situated for access to the local area. Although it is on the main duel carriageway, kendal is only a few minutes away. The room was really nice and the staff helpful. I will certainly use this hotel again.

Standard room, parking £3 but be aware that hotel is quite a bit out of town so a drive will be required to visit any nearby restaurants. The petrol station next door was useful. Hotel reception staff ( older male) not the most welcoming. Like other reviews, our sat nav was confused by the dual carriageway but it wasn’t far to the next exit to return up the right side of the road 🥴 we drove through to nearby Windermere for our evening meal.

The hotel was very clean, well maintained. The staff were very friendly and very helpful. A list of local restaurants and takeaways were handed to us , as no restaurant on site. Taxi information available too. Set in the beautiful countryside. The hotel was extremely quiet too.

Nice location, quiet at night, comfortable and clean, so very pleased. I drove past it the first time I tried to find it, my satnav tried to take me up a lane, 100 metres before I got there. You have to turn as if going to the BP garage, and it’s on the left.
