Hotel in zona Camping Hoeve de Schaaf, Heijen

Graag wilde ik een review schrijven over het Cafe van Taurus. Dit was niet mogelijk op Tripadvisor. Vandaar dat ik het hier aan koppel. Gisteren, 06-07-2024, een gezellige avond gehad met vrienden bij Taurus. Goed georganiseerd voor de EK wedstrijden. Desalniettemin, willen wij wel even aandacht brengen aan het volgende; -De sterke drank shotjes Wij vonden het niet erg om voor 2 shotjes €6,25 te moeten betalen in de tijd dat alles duurder wordt, namelijk inflatie. MAAR om dan ook een 1/2 shot te krijgen is dan echte afzetterij, krimpflatie. Zie bijgaand ook de foto van het shot glaasje. Hier zie je dat de onderrand midden op het shotglaasje zit gevestigd. Aanbeveling: Bestel hier absoluut GEEN shotjes. Zonde van je geld!

Matig hotel. Kamer 327 gehad, laatste in een lange gang. Meerdere pogingen nodig om de deur open te krijgen. Gemeld bij de receptie. Was bekend probleem maar lastig op te lossen omdat bij vervanging dan blijkbaar alle sloten vervangen moeten worden. Behang los. Gat in dekbedovertrek. Airco werkt niet. ( foutcode CH 05 ). Deuren kledingkast sluiten niet goed. Matrassen ( pocketvering ) zijn veels te zacht. Restaurant ongezellig. ( tafeltje 13, tegen een scheidingswandje bank en 1 stoel ) Eten ook matig. Niet warm. Biefstuk ( kogel ) taai en niet warm. Smaakte nergens naar. Aardappelgarnituur waren mini aardappeltjes in schil, ook weer niet warm en niet lekker. Bediening matig. Lang wachten tussen de gangen. Toetje wel prima .Ontbijt 1e ochtend magertjes. 1 soort uitgedroogde kaas. croissantjes op. Personeel even pauze blijkbaar. Na hun pauze weer croissantjes in de oven! 2e ochtend stuk beter. Meerdere soorten beleg en kaas en voldoende brood/croissants. Kortom 1e keer en laatste keer. Volgende avond maar gaan eten in Venray stad bij TOF, super lekker. Vreemde factuur bij uitchecken. Early inchecken en late uitchecken a € 35 . Oorzaak zou bij Voordeeluitjes liggen? Ook voor het eerste via Voordeeluitjes geboekt. Doen we dus ook niet meer.

Just had a drink and pre dinner snack. Ordered a small borrel snack of charcuterie with cheese nuts and olives. It was a generous portion between us filling enough to not need much dinner when we arrived home in Lent. Friendly attentive personnel and plenty of them. We sat with our dog on the terrace which overlooks a luscious green field. We felt very welcome.

L'ambiente perfetto dell'hotel è buono, cibo tranquillo di prima classe

Mi sembra che sia stato un po' da quando sono stati pubblicati. La mia ragazza e io siamo rimasti qui dal 26 aprile al 28 aprile 2022. Prenotammo la stanza di lusso, che era molto moderna, pulita e aggiornata. Per quello che abbiamo pagato, abbiamo pensato che fosse un grande valore. La nostra prima notte abbiamo mangiato al London Pub e il cibo era eccellente. I buffet del colazione erano di prima qualità. I croissants stanno per morire. Ci siamo trascorsi il giorno in barca. Era la nostra prima esperienza in un benessere e saremo sicuramente tornati. Ci siamo provati 4 delle saune. Ci sono anche goduto la piscina e i tubi caldi e soprattutto i saloni sul prato. essere dal Canada, è stato un trattamento per poter andare nudo. Sì, i naturalisti sono rari in Gran Bianco Nord, come è successo ovunque, c'erano alcune questioni di carenza di personale, ma hanno fatto del loro meglio e non posso colpevolmente colpevolmente.

La stanza è buona, la piscina dell'hotel, c'è un ristorante, il prezzo della pizza nel ristorante è molto conveniente, 10 euro una, la colazione è buona, c'è un servizio di massaggio a pagamento

I stayed in the Landhaus Beckmann for nine nights during a recent work trip. Overall, it proved to be an excellent place to stay for a number of reasons. Firstly, location. Now the hotel is in a rural setting, ie, it's a bit remote. But that shouldn't be a surprise to anyone. I guess Kalkar is 5km away, and there's nothing in-between apart from countryside. But at the end of a long (13 hour) working day, I found its calmness and serenity most pleasant. Next the room. Quiet, very clean and comfortable. Well appointed, and lots of storage space.The only issue with the room was the temperature as the weather was particularly warm. With no air conditioning, it took a while to learn to manage the curtain and window opening and closing cycle to keep the room temperature as pleasant as possible. But I was working with many others in all the available accommodation in the area, and none seemed to have aircon. Maybe it's just the way things are done here? So onto food. Breakfast was relatively simple: cereals with some nuts and grains; red berries and fruit with yoghurts; cold meats and cheese and of course bread. Omlettes were cooked on request. But the breakfast was actually very good. I ate dinner at the hotel most evenings, and being able to sit outside and take advantage of the warm evenings was perfect. The restaurant is reviewed separately, but I found the menu, the servings and the staff to be excellent. I only ate dinner inside once, adjacent to the bar, when it was tipping down with rain. The staff were super: a really friendly and very efficient team who made me feel welcome during my stay. They gave the hotel more of a 'home from home' feel rather than a modern business hotel. And finally, amenities. Lots of car parking, very good wifi. I didn't use the spa as I was pretty busy and I don't really do spas. But I do run, and they were some highlighted routes for running or cycling available just past reception which was much appreciated to prevent me losing my way. Overall, a really pleasant stay, and maybe longer than the average through work! But if I'm here again, definitely would rebook.

The Hotel Van der Valk Nijmegen-Lent is quite simply outstanding! We travelled from Wales, UK, and this is the sixth year that we have stayed at the hotel during the period of the Vierdaagse 4-day Nijmegen Marches (second to third week of July). The hotel offers first class accommodation and service. The restaurant and bar are spacious and comfortable, and offer an excellent service and wide selection of food and drinks throughout the day and evening. Decor throughout is elegant. The hotel is located close to the city and is easily accessible by road and rail. It has a large integral multi-storey car park with free parking, and covered, direct and easy access to the hotel. It lies adjacent to the Nijmegen-Lent railway station, with frequent trains and a four minute journey into the central station and city of Nijmegen. We run out of superlatives in praise of the hotel staff! From Marije the Director and Marijn the Marketing and Communications Manager, to the reception, restaurant, Lola’s Bar and housekeeping staff, who are all just wonderful, courteous, helpful and knowledgeable of the area. Communications throughout the booking, main stay and departure process were efficient and well coordinated. In our experience as international travellers of many years, the staff offer a wonderful, warm and personalised touch to your stay and are a credit to the hotel and the wider Van der Valk group.
