DDeborah LynnThis was my first time staying at a Mercure hotel and I was not disappointed. This new hotel opened in April. I usually stay at less expensive hotels but I was attending a festival at Luogang Central Park and wanted to find accommodations nearby. It was a short walk from the hotel door to the festival gates. I could see the stages from my room.
The service at the hotel was the best that I have ever encountered. I was immediately greeted by the guest services agents. Sally, the front office manager, assisted me as I checked in. She speaks excellent English. Sally assisted me by entering the hotel address and room number into *******. The food was delivered to my room by robot. Sally and the staff at the front desk made sure that everything about my stay was as perfect as it could be. On day two, I ordered ******* again. The food never arrived. As I do not know any Chinese, Sally helped me by talking to the vendor and delivery driver. She spent two days (even after I had checked out and gone home) to make sure that I got a full refund from *******. For some reason, I could not rent a phone charger from the machine in the lobby (that is a problem on my end not a problem with the machine). One of the guest services agents on duty rented the charger for me and I paid her when I returned the charger.
My room was beautiful! I had a corner room with windows on two sides. I enjoyed a long soak in the tub each day. The toilet came with a remote control that I translated. There were a few minor things about the room that could be improved. 1. The refrigerator was stocked with free beverages. However, there were no sugar free sodas. The water bottles are smaller than what I am used to and there were only two bottles of regular drinking water in the room. The maid and front desk were happy to supply me with more when asked. 2. The telephone sits on the bedside table that is in the far corner of the room. You have to walk around the bed to reach it. The phone would be more accessible on the side of the bed closer to the sitting area. I don't usually use the hotel phone but you do get a call when the robot comes to your door. 3. To open and close the curtains, you press the button next to the bed. The corner room has large windows on both walls. There is no way to only open the curtain on one side of the room. The morning sun was too strong from one window so I used a chair to prop open the curtains on the other window. 4. There is a lack of foreign programming on the television. Other hotel chains that I use have a free English movie station like HBO or Cine-Max. I travel with a USB stick that has some movies saved on it in case the hotel does not offer such programming. However, the original TV remote is not supplied in the room and there is no way to change the TV input from their satellite box to the USB port. I did not have my laptop with me. I inquired with Sally at the front desk but there was nothing that she could do. There was an option to order pay per view movies. 5. The next problem is my error. I put the paper do not disturb sign on the door. I did not realize that there was also a button on the light switch that turns on a green light outside of the door when you want the room cleaned. I accidentally turned on the light. The maid walked in on me without knocking first. She was very kind and apologetic.
I did not use all hotel amenities. I did enjoy the wine, coffee, and snacks in the front lobby. I also ate breakfast in the hotel restaurant each day. There was a nice variety on the breakfast buffet that changed daily. I found the laundry room to be clean and comfortable with a small sitting area. It is located near the fitness room and restaurant.
I would definitely choose to stay at this hotel again if I am in the area. The small issues that I mentioned above are just minor inconveniences and nothing that can't be corrected or worked around. Based on my stay here, I would also try other Mercure hotels when traveling.

Only downside was the room air conditioning was not working due to the overally system being turned off in 15 degrees weather. However, the staff did offer to open the room window and offer to switch room to an alternative facing room (assuming does not have air conditioning either).

Ci sono molti positivi su questo hotel, ma ciò che emerge è il personale - sono sempre felici, gentili, utili, positivi ed efficienti, che rende il mio tempo molto facile e senza problemi, anche se non parliamo la stessa lingua.

GGrebnevaÈ stata la seconda volta che siamo andati in questo hotel, perché la prima volta siamo stati molto impressionati da un'atmosfera calda. Prima siamo stati migliorati in una stanza più grande, abbiamo avuto un barbecue e il personale ci aiuta molto e la mattina hanno preparato un bel colazione pieno e ne hanno portato in camera. Ma questa volta non era così bello anche se eravamo gli unici ospiti. Per il colazione ci sono serviti un po'di noodles e qualche uova fritte.La cosa buona è una macchina per il caffè e poteva avere caffè. Bello hotel. Molto consigliato. Solo desidero che siano sempre in atmosfera di ospite.

UUtente ospiteFor any hotel location is the key, and although this is located right by the amusement park and water park and chao lake. It doesn’t have good directions or take good care of the walkways to allow people to walk unhindered. A shuttle bus to local spots should be provided. Breakfast which they provided had a ton of options but all of them subpar. If they had only a few things but made well and delicious it would be much better. The air conditioner was the worst. It pushed out humid air and rarely cool enough to drop the room temperature. All over the hotel they have ads for their restaurant but when we asked about it, it was closed. If something is not available, you should not be advertising it. Considered false advertisement. Based on the hotel and the number of guests I saw I’m pretty sure you’re only putting guests in floor 8 and possibly floor 9. If that’s the case then each room should be meticulously cleaned. Ours didn’t have soap in the dispenser and was missing the conditioner completely. We were in a no smoking room, there was still a “do not smoke in bed” resin sign. Which was extremely dirty like no one’s cleaned it in weeks if not months.
There’s a cute robot you send up to deliver things. But it doesn’t know to wait for people to get off the elevator before getting on, causing a family of 4 with their luggage to be partly trapped by the robot for a few minutes.
I’ve had the opportunity to talk to a number of the staff and can see the lower occupancy and time has affected this establishment. But you can still do better.

UUtente ospiteLa stanza, però, è molto comune che la prima stanza sia entrata per me non sia molto comoda. Trovato la signorina Reception mi ha cambiato una stanza. La signorina Reception mi ha detto che c'era una costruzione alla porta dell'hotel e non c'era modo di evitare il rumore. Dopo tutto, accetto che è venuto a fare un viaggio. Ma il pranzo di autobus dell'hotel a mezzogiorno è davvero insensato. Ho trovato che molti pranzi erano freddi alle 12. Era anche riflesso con i manager accanto, come se non importassero la temperatura del cibo. Non so se sia perche' mangiano cibo non caldo o perche' non sono altri La sera è straordinaria!L'intera gente non va bene!Devi ancora rispondere all'hotel. Il tempo freddo e'stato molto freddo per prestare attenzione alla temperatura del cibo.
