Stavo qui con mia moglie per due notti mentre camminava nella zona. Ho trascorso qualche viaggio in questo hotel specifico e ogni volta ha avuto una grande visita. La nostra camera è ben fornita e pulita. Personale molto amichevole e utile in ogni momento. Bella stanza, comoda camera. Piscina interna riscaldata con vista sulle montagne! La macchina del ghiaccio che era ideale quando ho rullato il mio anello su una passeggiata. E lavastoviglie! Waynesville è circa mezzo strada tra Asheville NC e la strada verso il Grand Smoky Mountains National Park. In quanto tale, è una bella città rimanere in chi vuole visitare entrambi i luoghi, o ha bisogno di un posto per riposare mentre si dirige a entrambi. Quest’ultimo era il caso per me e, anche se stavo cercando un po’ di più di un letto con un tetto sopra di esso, mi sorprendeva piacevolmente di quanto fosse un buon valore. La prima cosa che devi sapere è che la strada per questo motel è facile da perdere - dopo aver lasciato l'autostrada 74 e andato a nord l'autostrada 276 verso il lago Junaluska, si gira quasi immediatamente a sinistra sulla strada Phillips. C'è una luce di traffico in questa intersezione, e vedrai un negozio di pizza di Little Caesar. Continua su Phlips fino a raggiungere Collier Lane, sul quale è la strada per questo posto. La seconda cosa che devo sapere è che la strada è piuttosto forte, e probabilmente non permetterà che grandi camion o RVs possano guidare. Se puoi farla riparare nella tua RV, va bene; ma non dica che non ti avevo avvertito! La mia camera ha una doccia completa, telefono, AC, allarme radio, microonde, frigo, ferro e tavolo, caffè, asciugacapelli e TV con numerosi canali. La maggior parte delle camere aveva balcone, con sedie, con vista sulla città e sulle montagne dietro di essa. Il personale era professionale ed efficiente. Le strutture gratuite comprendono parcheggio, wifi, piscina e un buffet continentale. L'uscita stradale ha diverse catene di ristorante. I realize that my review is the first negative one for this place. Of course, its also only the 3rd review, so those other 2 must have not had the same room I got. My wife and I usually book a night in Maggie Valley in December, and we booked this place based on its rate. That was a mistake. The outside looks decent enough. Older, but there is a newer section to the left of the older section. When we arrived, we were informed that our room would be $15.00 extra for brining our Yorkie, which doesn't shed, doesn't watch TV, doesn't shower, and leaves no impact on the room whatsoever. Plus, the room we got (Room #3) was not worth the original rate, let alone the extra $15.00. In total, our room was approximately $84.00, which was FAR too much for what we got. I simply do not understand how the management and housekeeping, does not take any more pride in their property than they do. The inside of the room has a floor that is in terrible shape (attached pictures), the noisiest refrigerator on the planet (it gurgled and sounded like someone urinating the entire night), and a mattress that needed replacing long ago (squeaks every time you move). Also, the floor literally sinks in several places when you walk across it. In addition to that, the toilet paper holder in the bathroom was missing. Good news, however...I found it! It was in the cabinet underneath the sink. Seriously, how long does it take to put the toilet paper holder back on the wall? 5 minutes, maybe? The next morning when I stepped outside, I found a deposited mask on the ground in front of our room (not ours, because we didn't wear a mask at the room), and someone had left their hat on the bench right next to our door. How does a hat get missed? My advice is to skip this place, as there are far better options in Maggie Valley. And if you do decide to stay here, make sure you don't get Room #3. If you do get assigned #3, get in your car immediately, and this would be a great time to see how long your car takes to go from 0-60.
