Dreadfully rude unaproachable Reception woman (Indian) Not only to us but we witnessed another heated conversation with this person as well. Talking to other caravanners she was a common point of discussion. She needs to go or you will loose people. Pool people and cleaners went out of way to be friendly. I have NEVER experienced this behaviour from the many caravan parks I have been to in many years. During the week was a great but come the weekend all the ferrels from under every rock dropped there kids off at their own supervision whilst they refreshed themselves. Ammenties blocks ended up with mud everywhere. Yes it was raining but when you have muddy feet prints all over the walls toilets cisterns and basins I cant explain that. Sorry but we wont be back.

Good location , short walk to the beach and some of the caravan sites adjacent to the beach are double slab but priced accordingly (high) can’t comment on the cabins but they look ok. New pool area but no shade, maybe it’s not finished yet ? Amenities, camp kitchen , dump point are ok. The roads are fairly narrow but most van sites easy to get into, some of the grass sites are a combination of grass & dirt and way overpriced for what they are. Bar across the road is closed for renovations but no more than 10 mins walk back to Hawkesnest shops. If your in a caravan walk in first and pick your site, the far end of the park is grubby with a few permanent vans, looks like a rubbish tip. Boom gates to enter and coded security gates either side of park which were left open during our stay Pretty average overall and should be cheaper but I would probably stay again for a few days given the location. Staff were helpful and nice enough.

We were fortunate enough to stay in one of the new cabins. It was extremely clean, comfortable and very modern. The cabins were very well equipped, including a dishwasher and large fridge freezer. If you plan on cooking, you will need to bring paper towels, oil, salt and pepper, glad wrap and foil. The BBQ was excellent with great BBQ tongs provided. The pool area is very modern and nicely set out with lounge chairs under a shaded area. We were just a short stroll to the beach.

We loved the closeness of the beach and restaurant/bar. Very easy to walk around the area and close enough to drive to nearby towns. The facilities were clean and maintained, with a fabulous pool. Caravan sites were a good size. Very easy check-in with friendly staff. Dog friendly beach up one end and off leash area was a bonus. Great family park.

Clean, spacious, friendly. Fabulous mature trees, good to see they are retained, monitored and managed. Ready access to ocean and Port Stephens. Pity about 4WD's trashing the nearby beaches, incredible that the evidence of harm to the intertidal area and sand dunes is ignored as well as being socially and culturally intrusive.

Awesome park. Clean, tidy, well kept amenities. Perfect location very short walk to main beach, shops, golf course, coffee and pub across the road. 10 min walk to Jimmy’s Beach. Great mix of van sites, camp sites and cabins - not a white sheet metal city of jammed packed boomer-spec caravans blocking the sun until 11am. Decent sized camp sites. Very friendly staff across the board. Perfect spot for a relaxed, easy going stay. Good vibes only.

Great location close to beach walking /cycling path and bistro across the road. Caravan Park a bit dated and under going construction. Only one open amenity block. Camp kitchen a distance from most sites. A bit pricey at over $60 . Will be great once upgrades are completed.

Nice clean place. Close to golf course. Lighting excellent. Shower was good temperature and pressure. Cabin was clean and bed was comfortable. Only negative was the very poor wifi reception - it was spasmodic at best and sometimes did not work at all. We had to give up and go into town to get wifi.

We arrived to find tree loppers cutting down large tree close where we had a Powered Site. 2 chainsaws and mulcher constantly going all day. Next day was woken at 7.40am to chainsaws yet again. We paid top dollar for site for 2 nights. We travelled a long distance to catch up with friends who we hadn't seen for a very long time. Was unable to have conversation without yelling due to level of noise. We should of been informed when booking was made of work being carried out. Not impressed with management with lack of communication.
