Resort Borgos

This resort is right in the middle of Kaziranga wildlife park. It is surrounded by lush greenery. The resort is huge and really well maintained. Both room and bathrooms were spacious. Tea, coffee amenities, bottled drinking water were available. The breakfast buffet was lavish and there was everything from croissants, doughnuts, to idlis, parathas and a live dosa and omelette counter. What more can you imagine in the middle of a wildlife park? We had lunch and dinner at the hotel itself and I was really impressed with the authentic Assamese thali served the Juhal restaurant. The resort was huge and I enjoyed my stroll in the resort grounds. Also, enjoyed just lazing in the hammock in the balcony. Words fall short to describe my sray in this tranquil serene stay admist nature. Last but not the least, the staff was excellent- helpful, courteous and making sure we had everything we wanted.

Borgos resort is the best place to stay in Kaziranga.led by a dynamic Gm Chandrasen and his fabulous team is amust place to stay and enjoy the nature and forest.very close to the forest range and easy access to the jeep safari and the elephant safari. Excellent rooms and super delicious food the f&b team are ever smiling with super efficient service. The entire team is there to go the extra mile. The evening cultural programme is very well done. The elephant safai was unforgettable. A fantastic holiday was made possible by Chandrasen and his team Kudos to Borgos 🙏my best wishes to them for a great future.

Kaziranga visit was in my wish list since long. Specially only for The Rhinos. It was always slated for Feb. As in Jan. & Feb. I always plan other tours, decided to make it in Dec. only. I was told Borgos is the best Resort In Kaziranga. So planned my stay here for 3 nights, & it proved to be right. Couldn't have been better. It's like visiting for Jungle Safari & staying midst in the Jungle itself. Salient Positive Features - It's like jungle stay, with 5 star feel. Central Gate is very close by (5 mins), Western Gate Is 25 mins. drive while Eastern Gate is 40 mins. drive. Did Elephant Safari & 3 Jeep Safaris, one each from all 3 Gates. Advisory - Don't miss Elephant Safari, (book well in advance), Be sure to miss Eastern Gate, not recommended at all. Borgos (meaning Banyan In Assamese) stay is unparalleled, specially for an ardent Nature lover. Entrance & Reception Lobbies are really Majestic. Wooden Artefacts are mesmerising by beauty & size. Borgos Resort is serene, tranquil set in a Heavenly place far away from Urban clutter & humdrum. Rooms are cozy, neat & spacious provided with a heater which was much needed in the biting & chilly cold. As for housekeeping & food services , all requests were met with Sure Sir or OK replies. Never a No or Not Possible denial. Enjoyed Cultural Show & Folk Dance In Resort Lawn with bonfire on two nights. Was Very Good, Highly Recommended. See posts in my vlogs. 1st night went to Orchid Park for cultural show with tkt. of Rs.400/-. Not Recommended. Food in Restaurant was superb. Had Breakfast & Dinner on all 3 days here only. Also had Lunch once. Staff was very courteous, gracious, helpful, obliging & respectful. I would in particular like to mention here Anjali, Johnny & Prasenjit, who on all our 7 visits were there to attend to us very humbly & warmly. Surely gave us a homely, loving & Royal feeling. Best wishes for a brighter future to all three, with more emphasis for Anjali, who really won our hearts with her charm & ever present infectious smile. Not to miss out for a mention for the sweet dwarf on entrance gate, wishing smilingly on entry & exits. Had lunch at Airawat Restaurant On Highway. Recommended. Also visited 500 years old Hati Pathar Ganesh Temple, just 2 kms from main Highway. Recommended for all religious people. Would also recommend visiting Kakochang Waterfall, but make it early before 4 PM. All in all , a very memorable stay & tour. Highly recommended, if you are looking for the best.
