Bon Villa Retreat

*honest review* the main reason why i chose this hotel was because it was written as having free access to swimming pool. But seems it was only for showcase. They will find hundred ways to say why you can't use swimming pool. You will have to take constume of your own if not they will rent it for 250 rs for one person. The instructor who manages swimming pool doesn't even reply properly. She simply days you can't go to the swimming pool. On a positive note, apart from my pool experience, other things were good/avg. I didn't get the room i booked but a different one. It was good located at second floor. Swimming pool is nice but one should get their own swimming costume to get in or pay for costumes rs. 250 pp provided by the hotel. Food is also good but little overpriced.

Location of the property is very good. Behaviour of the staff is gentle. Food is very delicious but expensive and the delivery of food is slow.On an average it took an hour to deliver the food.

Good and pleasant stay. Safari was also organised by the hotel itself. Neat and clean swimming pool

The ceiling fan did not let sleep properly, cranks every 10 to 15 mins and sleep gets interrupted. Food quantity is very less

Let's start with the moment i entered the hotel. It was at around 4 pm, i parked my car in the parking area while my wife went on for the registration counter. After parking me and my kid 4 and half years went to see the pool and she was very eager to swim. The pool was nice and the ambience beautiful. We were allotted room no 301. As i entered the room my luggage was neatly placed inside the room allotted to me. I wanted to freshen up and so headed for the bathroom. As i turned on the tap, the shower went running. I tried to fix it and last realised that the shower malfunctioned. I used the bucket and the mug. I was done bathing and now wanted to enjoy the tv as it was the ipl season. Opp s the tv is not recharged. As i wished to dial the intercom, to my surprise a bad one was just kept as a show piece, and so i had to physically walk to the reception to tell them the problems. The tv was recharged after much request but again only the cheap channels. I had to again walk to the reception counter to again raise a complain as the intercom was not working and no response on the mobile number attached with the room key. At last the did recharge the required channel for the ipl. More to add, no mosquito repellent was available, only one set of dental kit was made available, and not to forget i had to enjoy tomato soup as they mistook the order for lemon and coriander soup. I know these are petty issues and i should not rank my review as terrible, but no, i paid and thought it important to highlight these issues which for me were not small. But to be true the hotel was buzzing with guests who may have suffered same as me, or may be not. The staff were ill trained and no coordination was there

The stay was excellent. Staff was super cooperative. Rooms were very clean and everything very well organised.

It was a good stay. Restaurant service was slow. Last day of our stay as only few rooms were occupied that day....the staff did not behave professionally and pretended to be lazy as and unprofessional. when the resort is full and all the rooms are occupied only then the staff behave professionally otherwise they don't bother to be professional. Worst experience and took extra2500 room charges for not reporting on time. I booked my trip for 13-14 but your app took by default todays date for booking we resulted into extra money charges
