Interesting that full booked but no one there, and gave a room with loud standalone Aircon. And I booked it a couple of months back.....the room is on first floor....

Rooms live upto expectations. However, being hassled in the car park by other "Guests" for cigarettes and money was not welcome. The restaurant is a converted half of a conference room, has a very dull menu and is only open for 2 hours. If you want a evening meal you may want to look into going to another restaurant in town.

Room was very big and comfortable, would find hard to be disappointed. Will return when working in this area. No faults. Evening meal in restaurant was very reasonable, but would have liked more across the menu. Good value on prices. Breakfast was quick and wide range to choose from. Only quibble was … the price of Bed and Breakfast was a little high for this time of the year, but overall had a great stay.

The room was nice and clean the bed was comfortable had a lovely sleep it a had fridge microwave a hob for it was a executive room and also had free parking and not to far from the town or lea valley for walks we only stayed for one night had been to family do did not had a chance to explore the hotel it has spa gym not far from the hotel which you can use when stay here

Very good for 3*,⁹ clean, comfortable hotel with great staff. Quiet location with plenty of space in the car park. Short taxi ride from the station. Great room with modern bathroom and plenty of space. Good food, especially breakfast with hot food cooked in small batches or to order. The Chieftain pub is a very short walk and serves good pub food.

We held my husband's birthday party here at the weekend. Booking everything back in February was very easy and the communcation from Kaska, the events manager, was excellent throughout. She recommended a decorator, and the package deal included a DJ and favourable room rates for our guests. I was a little worried as on our first visit the function room was set up in a standard conference style, but on the night of the party Kaska and her team, along with the decorator, had transformed it into a party room. The food provided was excellent, although it may have been helpful if the vegetarian food was clearly labelled as it was not always clear whether something was meat or not (e.g. sausage rolls). This is the only slight issue we had. The management of the bar was excellent and we were presented with an itemised bar bill at the end of the night. Our room was spacious and spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. Our guests were happy too and nobody was in much of a hurry to leave. I'd recommend the hotel for any functions, they work closely with you and work really hard to make sure everything goes well. We had a great time and would certainly think about coming back if we plan any more functions.

Had a wonderful stay in this hotel last year and gave it 5 stars. Have recently been back with a group of friends for a few days crafting and am delighted to say that I’ve given it 5 stars again. The staff were attentive, friendly and very accommodating, nothing was too much trouble for them, which is such a pleasure to see. Thank you!

We stayed here on Saturday night, 27 July 2024. We were pleasantly surprised to be told that we had been allocated a superior room, which was in the courtyard. It became apparent that all was not quite right at this hotel as areas of the hotel had been partitioned off. It didn't take much to work out that the hotel was also been used as a migrant hotel. The issue for us as paying guests were: 1. Is this what we wanted? 2. Shouldn't we have been informed of this when making the booking? 3. Could our safety be guaranteed? I am still waiting for Best Western to acknowledge my concerns.
