Hartford: hotel a 2 stelle

I went to an event at the XL Center and this hotel was super convenient! I only stayed at the hotel overnight, but I was able to walk back and forth to the venue - with free parking at the hotel! The hotel is a bit isolated, but there are sidewalks all the way to the XL Center and it is well lighted. I was with someone, so I'm not sure I would do the walk alone at night, but I would highly recommend staying here for this purpose.

My husband and I stayed at the Best Western Hartford on Friday, July 19th - Monday, July 22, 2024. We were there for the Hartford Jazz Festival and go every year. We are world travelers and have never had an experience like this anywhere. I completed the survey while we were still there and someone responded immediately. I then responded to the email and attached pictures, however, I have not had an additional response. Before I list my concerns I do have to say that the staff were friendly and tried their best. They did not have enough help, support and supplies for a sold out hotel. And before you ask if I complained, I did not. I overheard other people asking for new rooms and there were not any available. I also heard the staff complaining to each other and I felt so bad for them. Concerns: - the room smelled especially around the door - my husband used the bathroom before me and cleaned the shower, it was covered in hair - I washed the floor later and have pictures of the dirty towel - the sink in the bathroom did not drain - rust all over the shower head and racks - the exhaust in the bathroom did not work - the bathroom door was rotten along the edge - there was mold around the tub floor - the wall near the tub was falling away and rotten - tried to sit by the pool but the smell from the Sewer Treatment Plant next door was so strong that I had a headache. It was like that all week. - the curtains in the room were ripped - the remote control on the TV did not work - the clock was covered in dust - there was not enough food during breakfast, they ran out of everything, eggs, yogurt etc. - Saturday night they ran out of towels and linens - there was only one staff person on Saturday night, there was trash in the halls and no one to clean it

La posizione dell'hotel era perfetta per me, dal momento che il posto che ho assistito era in fondo al blocco dell'hotel. L'unica cosa che non mi piaceva era che dovevi pagare per parcheggiare nella loro garage, anche se stavi a casa del loro hotel.

Durante l'epidemia, è ancora buono, non c'è bisogno di pulire la stanza, spesso viene, la posizione geografica è eccellente, il trasporto è conveniente!

I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights with a group of 8 when we staff volunteered at a con. Almost fully stocked with all paper towels, utensils, soap, silverware, tupperware, though no dishwasher cleaner. Eight people won't fit in all its uses, for example there weren't enough beds for everyone so I had to sleep on an inflatable mattress that we brought, on the floor. Not enough plates and cups for eight people either. Spacious, with two showers and a walk-in closet on the upper loft!! Plenty of outlets! Strong wifi connection, TV can be used for a limited number of cable channels, and also Youtube, Pandora, or Netflix. Ground floor bathroom towel hanger broken and fell twice. Door knob to the unit a bit old and felt like it could break off. Toilet's flushing sometimes irratic. Could use basic repairs in some areas.

La nostra esperienza con questo sito è stata fantastica fin dall'inizio alla fine. Eravamo li' per il Grande Spettacolo Stamp Americano nel Centro Convenzionale collegato. Non solo il nostro gruppo era grande, ma ci sono state due feste di nozze diverse quando eravamo li', e un paio di altre eventi piuttosto grandi. Abbiamo chiesto un altro caffè il giorno due e sono stati presentati felicemente con abbastanza per il resto del nostro soggiorno 4-day. Abbiamo pulito la nostra stanza solo una volta, perché ci sono stati tanti asciugamani, ecc. e ho una cosa per fare il letto quando usciamo. L'equipaggio del desk front era sorprendente ... sempre felice e pronto a aiutare con qualsiasi cosa, Come erano i bar e i server nel caffè. Kudos a tutti. Inoltre, l'hotel è a pochi passi dal Museo di Wadsworth, il Centro di scienza Connecticut e molti ristoranti molto buoni.

La colazione è più semplice, l'acqua di guancia è piccola, non è abbastanza calda, è troppo stanca. Quando non c'è acqua calda per molto tempo, dormo. La mattina dopo ho tolto quasi due ore. L'acqua può essere lavata.L'hotel è molto bello, ha spedito il buono per la colazione come compensazione per l'insolenza. Probabilmente per la causa della decorazione, l'ultima volta che si trova nella piscina è la decorazione.
