Hotel in zona Lynn Meadows Discovery Center, Gulfport

This is probably the worst Marriott property I’ve stayed at. I’m a Titanium member and have already spent 30 days in other Marriotts this year alone. The front desk manager that checked me in was very nice, but it’s the property itself that needs serious work. This is probably the worst Marriott property I’ve stayed at. The bathroom needs new hinges, tub, and in the least, a clean shower curtain. The one I had was very moldy. The door hinges were rusty, as was the coffee maker that completely leaked. I requested another coffee maker to which another front desk person said she would look for. I requested this Tuesday morning, and returned around 7-8 PM. No coffee maker in sight. I asked someone else who appears to assist with security or cleaning. He found a new one for me, but this should have been replaced long before. During check-in, I was told cleaning was every other day; and also what I selected using the Bonvoy app. Nobody ever came to clean the room. The location wasn’t great; at least not the view looking at an auto parts spot. Someone else I bumped into during my stay said he was looking for another location since he couldn’t imagine staying there for a month. I looked but the area had sold out of rooms. Otherwise, I really wanted to leave. There is a Springhill Suites close by that I stayed at the week before; it was so much better. I slept horribly throughout the week; the walls are thin, and you can hear every single kid running down the hallway, door knocking, door slamming. Also, it’s rare I come across hotels that have absolutely no USB outlets. The normal outlets are hit and miss as far as working. The AC unit is loud, and it’s either hot or cold, no good balance (it’s the old school unit near the floor; no wall control). Unless you are in desperate need of a place and all others are sold out, keep your expectations low. I feel bad for the employees as they appear to hold dual roles; the night manager never seemed to be at the desk, but i would always see her checking the floors. Another looked like she is also responsible for cleaning the lobby area. Perhaps this is why the room never got serviced. The 2 stars is only for the employees. Nella nostra camera c'era un asciugamano sporco appeso sul retro della porta del bagno. Poi le luci si sono spente alle 2 del mattino e non si sono riaccese fino alle 4:30. Quindi questo ci ha lasciato al buio per ore. Inoltre avevo due ferri da stiro nella mia stanza che non funzionavano, entrambi lasciavano i miei vestiti bagnati dall'acqua che fuoriusciva da entrambi.

Ottimo personale pulito piscina camere belle e pulite?

Stai qui per il torneo di ballo! Le camere erano pulite, il personale era bello, il posto era enorme! Anche il colazione era buono!

Ok hotel, un po' prezioso, buona zona intorno a molti ristoranti, aveva un problema con la mouse, chiamato il desk front, il partecipante ha offerto un rimborso completo ma noi ci siamo rifiutati perché era un weekend di vacanza e tutti gli hotel sono stati prenotati ma ci ha dato qualche. La carta chiave ha smesso di funzionare quando siamo usciti dalla piscina, quindi abbiamo dovuto salire in avanti per ottenere le nostre carte di credito.

Wow! We stumbled across this place at last minute as our first choice was booked out - how fortunate it turned out to be! Check-in staff - incredibly welcoming and helpful; room - extremely well presented (newly renovated); location - perfect! Directly across the road to the beach; breakfast - it would have to be the best we’ve had in a very long time. So many options, all top quality. Oh, and the fresh squeezed orange juice was a tasty treat. Definitely recommend this place.
