Ho soggiornato all'Harlow Hotel la scorsa notte. Questo è stato prenotato in base alle immagini e alle informazioni sul sito web. Essendo un appassionato di fitness, non vedevo l'ora di usare la palestra moderna, immagina il mio orrore quando sono entrato nel "centro ricreativo" e non ho trovato altro che vecchi giocattoli per bambini e blocchi di plastica Lego sparsi su tutti i pavimenti! La camera in cui ho alloggiato, secondo la reception, era l'unica camera disponibile nell'hotel poiché tutte le altre erano prenotate, anche se il parcheggio aveva solo 2 auto, un camion e il nostro furgone parcheggiato.! La stanza era sporca con alcuni trucchi ancora sui mobili, macchie sul pavimento, tende e letti. C'erano anche graffiti sui muri e grosse schegge dalla toletta dove alcuni avevano aperto bottiglie di birra. Non ho provato il cibo quindi non posso recensire. Nel complesso non è un buon hotel, sembra carino sul sito web ma in realtà è sporco e scadente. Evita se puoi!

Inizialmente data una stanza sporca che non era stata rifatta. Sono tornato alla reception e mi è stata assegnata una stanza pulita. Deluso dal pagamento di 6 sterline per il parcheggio per un giorno considerando che l'hotel si trova alla periferia della città.

A large group of us went has we was celebrating a birthday in Epping, check in was quick , the room was clean and tidy, staff was very friendly, and the breakfast was great as it was a surprise breakfast for the birthday man, never great thing was trip.com was cheap and cheerful, and my friends was as they paid more of different sites for their room. Thank you

Perfect for my overnight stay

If I had read the reviews! I wouldn’t of booked. Very low standard overall I felt very uncomfortable with the whole situation . Reception no customer service, I wasn’t booked in letting me know breakfast or anything. lone males were milling around everywhere and in groups through out the hotel very tired hotel iin badly need of updating. Room and carpet was tired , door shakes at night & horrendous noise from bathroom will keep you awake.

Non restare qui! La mia esperienza è stata terribile. Mentre facevo la doccia, l'asta della doccia mi è caduta sulla testa. Ho provato a sostituirlo ed è caduto di nuovo 3 volte. Bagno con doccia allagata! Quando ho parlato con la reception per lamentarmi e chiedere di essere trasferito in un'altra stanza, mi è stato detto che dovevo parlare con il direttore ma non era disponibile, quindi di mandargli un'e-mail. Non dovrei inviare un'e-mail alla mangiatoia per richiedere il trasloco della stanza a causa di apparecchiature difettose. È responsabilità dell'addetto alla reception e qualcosa che dovrebbero essere in grado di ordinare. Ho ridotto il mio soggiorno e ho chiesto un rimborso. Mi è stato detto che dovevo tornare a ******* per richiederlo poiché la mia prenotazione era avvenuta tramite loro! L'hotel non vuole assumersi la responsabilità delle proprie camere inferiori alla media e si aspetta che i clienti facciano tutto il possibile per ottenere richieste di camere che non vadano oltre la norma. Non ci tornerò!

Quite tidy, but does need updating. Staff were nice, but stretched. Food in the evening (cod & chips) was mainly batter with not good mushy peas. Breakfast, good selection and okay.

It was ok. Not immaculate but was comfortable. The bar was nice but not the friendliest of staff.

Plus points: 1. at check in on Friday, excellent contact with the person on reception--very welcoming; 2. restaurant and bar staff very friendly at breakfast and evening meal; 3 comfortable bed and duvet. Negatives: a. the toliet seat in the room was loose--had not been noticed by staff? b. your website says that there are free newspapers--when I came down on Saturday morning and asked for a newspaper at reception, the receptionist said, with a straight face, that 'we only have newspapers sometimes'--this was obviously supposed to satisfy me as an answer--I was just unlucky that on the day I stayed there were none! c. our bar meals on the Saturday night were warm rather than hot + 'the parmesan style shavings' on my Mediterranean Vegetables were non-existent and the Bangers & Mash gravy did not taste like 'onion gravy' as on the menu.

Had a good stay. The bus passes just outside, easy connection to London and Stansted airport. Good breakfast
