I had a great stay. Loved the big screen projector and cinema sound. The breakfast wasn't the greatest but then again what would you expect for ¥20? Cleanliness and the staff was super helpful. I will go back there if in the area again

AAnna in ChinaIt was my first trip to Hangzhou. I wanted to celebrate my husband’s birthday here and it was totally impromptu. What I was looking for: 1) a closer location to the West lake - to walk there, not to ride; 2) a balcony or courtyard; 3) and/or at least a beautiful view and surroundings; 4) as we love tea and really interested in Chinese tea culture, some tea plantation nearby could be a plus! Not many hotels seemed to meet my requirements and those which fit were way beyond our budget.
Xunzhenshe hotel looked very pretty but their description was not very clear. Anyway, considering that I was booking our room just a day (!) before our arrival on Friday night, Xunzhenshe seemed to be my only choice with just two rooms left. To be honest, I didn’t expect much when we arrived. However, from the beginning the service was outstanding with a personal approach. At the hotel they greeted us as we were VIPs. Celia, an English-speaking lady, who contacted me after my booking, was extremely helpful. She gave us few recommendations about Hangzhou and the area nearby. She showed us the tea plantation just next to the hotel and a room where farmers were drying tea leaves - it was quite short but interesting introduction to the hotel environment.
The hotel itself is owned and managed by a former architect. The building was built based on construction principles of the Song dynasty. As I understand, all ground floor units have their own courtyard. There is a parking lot, a tea room and a restaurant at the hotel. We were given a non-smoking one-bedroom apartment in a quieter part of the hotel and could enjoy our morning tea in our small but elegant courtyard. The apartment was clean with all necessary amenities. There was a kitchen and a dining room with a huge table (we didn’t use this room though). The breakfast buffet was included in the rate, however they offered mostly Chinese food (no problem for us as we love it). Our dinner and breakfast food were delicious!
Also, we so much appreciate totally unexpected birthday presents to my husband. Upon arrival he found a little gift with a touching handwritten birthday message and then birthday noodles were served at the restaurant. So, it was very unique and memorable celebration!
After all, I was really happy with my hotel’s choice.
To conclude what we loved the most about this hotel:
1. Attentive and caring service
2. Nature and beautiful surroundings
3. Very good location: just next to the West lake park and bridges. Walkable distance to the famous night show Impression and Su Causeway. Not far away to Leifeng pagoda and Longjing and Meijiawu villages.
4. Good Chinese restaurant with a terrace just next to the tea plantation
5. Amazing tea
Me and my husband had a great time in Xunzhenshe. Highly recommend it to those who love places with soul.

UUtente ospiteOur party of 3 adults spent 3 nights at the Fuchun Mountain Golf Resort in early 12/2024. We came to Fuchun to see the scenaries that had inspired the famous 富春山居圖 painting. We booked 2 basic rooms (Linyin Garden View), but received free upgrades (Guizhou Lake View) at check in. I must admit our initial feelings as we arrived was one of creeping doubt, because the Fuyang city streets we had driven through (we drove in from the Hangzhou Xihu area) were very industrial, just giant factories one after another and the immediate area outside the property was just a bunch of small suburban farm homes and shops. Furthermore, as our car pulled up to the front lobby entrance, no one greeted us. Not a soul was in sight. Our driver had to poke his head inside and announce guests are here and service is needed. From there on, however, things only got better and better. So, yes, this was a quiet property. There wasn’t a lot of staff standing about. But, there was enough personnel to provide all the basic services expected. And I found they were very friendly, quick to respond, and efficient. During our 3.5 days here, we explored and enjoyed this beautiful hotel inside and out. The hotel itself (the main building) was simply grand. Its design and decor was a perfect balance of East Meets West, modernized traditional, understated elegance. The layout was a bit of a labyrinth. There were wings, corridors, and stairs you can go down to find restaurants, spa/gym/pool, conference rooms, sitting nooks, a small boat dock, and even an impressive collection of embroidery art on display. Our rooms were large and airy, spotless, the ceiling was high, and the windows opened onto the lake. The bathroom was spacious with a double sink and lots of counter space. Beds and pillows were very comfortable, definitely in line with 5 star international standards. Outside, there was a man-made lake with 2 groups of swans (or were they white geese?). They crisscrossed the lake during the day and slept below our windows at night. There was also a little children’s playground (with a pair of ducks) and what looked like a small amphitheater. Several short paths allowed us to walk the sizable grounds. Early one morning, we followed one across a little brook to the edge of the tea terrace. Another morning, we strolled down a road flanked by bamboo that led to the beautiful villas that stood apart from the main hotel. Everywhere, the atmosphere was tranquil and the views spectacular. We ate most of our meals at the hotel since we were unfamiliar with the area and didn’t really want to go out looking (this was the end of a 2 week trip). We tried both of the restaurants on-site (the Chinese and the Western/Fusion) and thought they were fine overall, since food/ingredients were fresh and of good quality. Taste and craft were okay, not great but acceptable. In truth, we were probably not too demanding at this point, as we had already gorged out during our previous stay in the HZ/Xihu area. In summary, our family really liked the Fuchun Mountain Golf Resort. We were very comfortable during our short stay. We really appreciated the quiet calmness of the place as well as the warm service provided by the entire staff. We would love to return. It was an easy car ride from the HZ city area, and it was easy to hire cars to nearby and more distant attractions. Lastly, for those interested in the 富春山居圖, there is a replica of the painting (both parts and to scale) displayed downstairs in the spa :)

IIntrepid Traveller8Lovely hotel in the middle of West Creek/ Xixi National Wetlands Park in Hangzhou. The hotel and service offerings are excellent, located in a very secluded spot away from the hustle and bustle, great for relaxation and enjoying the serene and tranquil surroundings. There is a small lake in the middle of the hotel, which I understand is owned and managed by the hotel. The views are wonderful and better than going to the famed West Lake (way too touristy and crowded). I think this hotel has a lot going for it, even though it’s not a known brand.
I would say some things for improvement are as follows:
Must, must open a spa. AmanFayun, Banyan Tree, Anh Luh and Four Seasons all have spa’s and they’re at roughly the same price point. This wasn’t a deal breaker for me, but for some people this would put them off from booking here.
Gym. This place needs an on-site gym for obsessed exercise freaks like me (and other health obsessives that want to go to an all-inclusive resort). Also, with the yummy high calorie food offerings in the restaurant, I would like to work those calories off and not worry about getting home fatter than when I left!
Restaurant – Excellent service from the wonderful manager, who I forgot to ask her name and all her staff. Very good manners from all the staff, very quiet voices, barely can hear them speak amongst themselves. However there needs to be more of an international offering for people that visit from outside China (US/ Europe, India/ South East Asia/ Gulf countries, who all would probably stay here in the future). There should be another restaurant that offers international fayre, as well as the traditional Chinese restaurant, so both sets of visitors are catered for, and more choice is always good for people that stay longer than 3 days. And vegetarian/ vegan options would be very appreciated.
The “Savoir resort” is not mentioned on Didi maps or on Baidu maps, and the Chinese name bears absolutely no resemblance to the English name 杭州所见 – 西溪度假酒店. Foreign people may have problems finding this location on their maps/ getting here without help (the less help that is required, the better).

携程 （Ctrip） or Trip.com. I think there should be 5 – 10 pictures on the site showing these rooms as bookable. I take a long time researching a hotel before booking, so the more information available, the better.
The boat trip in the hotel is way better than the boat trip offered outside the hotel. I really enjoyed it, but I don’t think many people use it, which is a shame of a great resource. The fact this hotel has its own private lake is something that makes it stand out from the other hotels.

MM286154****Un'esperienza VIP che costa più di 1.500 a notte per soggiornare vicino al West Lake. È un luogo dove i capi di stato del G20 hanno soggiornato e visitato molte celebrità hanno lasciato le loro impronte qui. L'intero hotel è come un parco attentamente mantenuto. Lo scenario del parco è squisito come un bonsai ingrandito. Le strutture e i servizi dell'hotel sono impeccabili. Solo che l'Edificio 3 è di dimensioni più piccole. Le sale degli altri edifici sono molto ben arredate e non banali. I corridoi dell'Edificio 2 dove vivo sono tappezzati di dipinti a inchiostro di artisti famosi sconosciuti, che circondano un cortile splendidamente curato. Fai una piacevole passeggiata lungo il Lago dell'Ovest e senti il vibrante scenario della primavera; respira il leggero odore della terra e dei fiori che sbocciano dopo la pioggia. Ha un profumo migliore di qualsiasi altra fragranza. Questa esperienza non è costosa a 1.500 yuan. Se lo confronti orizzontalmente con gli altri hotel del Lago Ovest capirai cosa intendo.

YYangguangshatan☀️Recentemente, per motivi di lavoro, sono andato a Zhuzhou. Secondo la raccomandazione di un amico, ho scelto Zhuzhou Bookshan Wu Hotel. L'esperienza dopo il soggiorno è molto superiore alle aspettative. L'hotel è situato a Mogan Mountain Road 246, nella zona di Liu, vicino all'Università di E-Tech, a West Lake, Hangzhou. Solo 14 minuti di auto dal Centro di esposizione della Conferenza di pace, e 16 minuti di auto per il centro sportivo di Huanglong. Le reti di trasporto circostanti sono sviluppate, sia per l'aeroporto, la stazione ferroviaria, sia per ogni attrazione calda di Zhao, e ci sono molti modi di trasporto convenienti da scegliere. La porta è una stazione di bus, e il bus è molto facile. Per persone come me che hanno bisogno di uscire spesso, risparmiare un sacco di tempo di percorrere e rendere il viaggio facile ed efficiente. Una volta entrato nel salone dell'hotel, un profumo di libri stupidi si arrampicava, con un profumo di fiori stupidi e una musica antica leggera, che lasciava la gente a sentire il suo cuore e dissipare il momento del viaggio. Ci sono anche schede scritte nell'alloggio, che possono essere usate per gli ospiti per sfruttare l'inchiostro, sentire l'attrazione della cultura tradizionale, permettere alle persone di godere di una casa confortevole, e può immergersi nell'atmosfera culturale disgustosa.

UUtente ospiteLa posizione dell'hotel non ha nulla da dire. Ci vogliono solo sette o otto minuti a piedi per raggiungere il Lago dell'Ovest. Ci sono molte fermate dell'autobus davanti alla porta. È molto comodo per andare al Lago dell'Ovest e al molo di Wulinmen buona scelta per viaggiare gratis.
Accanto al Kerry Center e al mercato notturno di Wulin, mangiare non è un problema.
L'arredamento dell'hotel è un po' vecchiotto, ma è pulito e ordinato e il servizio è cordiale. Anche se si trova lungo la strada, non è rumoroso e le camere sono insonorizzate. La colazione dell'hotel è all'altezza del suo prezzo e offre un'ampia varietà di scelta. Se fosse rinnovato, non potrei prenotare allo stesso prezzo, sceglierei di nuovo qui la prossima volta.
