Hotel room not too bad, had a problem with the TV but phoned and it got fixed quickly. Bed is comfortable. Shower is warm and powerful. Not much noise outside from other hotel guests. View outside is a city view so looked out onto Hangzhou Tower. Top floor has view of West Lake which is nice. A little disappointed to find Thai restaurant (Sawasdee) in the hotel serving Chinese food when we were really looking for a range of Thai food, so went to the buffet instead which was nice and had a good range of food, drink and desserts for dinner. Flight out was at 630am, so happy that the hotel arranged a very early wake up call, quick check out and a taxi arranged for 4am. Quite satisfied with the service.

I’m gonna go ahead and say this is my favorite hotel in HZ and I lived there for 4 years! Super friendly and helpful staff, amazing room, gym and pool! Please give my regards to the super helpful blonde Turkish lady who works at the front desk. She helped me set up WiFi on my phone and helped me store my road bike in concierge! Thank you!!!

Greeted very well with the business reception manager, 张娟 for arranging our tour and 张向军, the cafe manager for the pleasant service while having breakfast. Wulin market is just a stone away from hotel. Wuxi lake is also nearby. Very convenient.

Lovely hotel in a great location by West Lake, and near great restaurants and shopping centre, also night markets. Room was huge and well appointed. I would stay here again.

Is nice for a short stay and near popular night market 武林夜市。Sure visit this place again.

Check in to the hotel was smooth but once I arrived in the room I saw a big spider 🕷️ in the bath tub which made me feel very uncomfortable,Hygiene is the most important part for the hotels, I believe pest control has to be done regularly . Secondly I was called and told to come down in the late night to give back the glasses which I borrowed from the lobby lounge, which was horrible, Chef Derek and Effie from FO, was very proactive, they are doing a great job 👏

Great overnight stay. Check-in was quick and the staff were extremely polite and helpful. English was spoken and I was impressed by their whole approach. The room was beautiful with a small balcony - it was quite big too. Breakfast was good with a wide variety of choices. Again, the staff were friendly and helpful. My only complaint is that Trip took the room payment but I then had to pay again at the hotel- apparently Trip just hold the payment until you check out. I was refunded the money but I was unaware this would happen. I’ll def stay in this hotel again.

My family enjoyed our stay in Wyndham Grand Plaza Royale Hangzhou. The rooms were clean. The staff including receptionists and cleaners were courteous and helpful. We also paid for the hotel buffet which has a wide selection on food. The hotel is also next to the Wulin night market. It is also within walking distance to the West Lake which is a popular tourist attraction. Highly recommended.

The rooms ventilation was really warm, so I had to turn it off to cool down. However, without it, the noise from the cars on the street below became quite loud.

Additionally, the hotel is close to several popular shopping streets, including Hubin Road, where you can find both luxury brands and local shops. There are also plenty of restaurants and cafés nearby, giving guests many dining options beyond the hotel itself. 2. Warm and Efficient Check-in Process From the moment I entered the hotel, I was greeted warmly by the staff. The lobby is spacious, elegant, and well-lit, giving off a luxurious yet comfortable vibe. Check-in was smooth and quick, with the front desk staff offering a welcome drink upon arrival. I appreciated their professionalism—they spoke fluent English and were well-prepared to answer all my questions about nearby attractions and transportation options. One thing that stood out was their attentiveness; they noticed I had traveled a long way and offered to expedite my check-in, which was a thoughtful touch. 3. Spacious and Well-Appointed Rooms The room I stayed in was a deluxe double with a partial view of West Lake. The food quality was excellent, and the service during breakfast was attentive, with staff regularly refilling coffee and tea without being asked. In addition to the breakfast buffet, the hotel offers several dining options throughout the day. I dined at their Chinese restaurant one evening, which specializes in Hangzhou cuisine. The dishes were authentic and flavorful—definitely a highlight of my trip. I recommend trying the local specialty, Dongpo Pork, which was cooked to perfection. Room service was also available 24/7, and I tried it once when I returned late from sightseeing. The food was delivered promptly, and the quality was on par with the restaurant meals.

Few mins walk to Wulin night market. Clean and suitable for family.

Is that a real five-star hotel? I don’t think so, first, all 3 USB sockets broken, pointpen broken and hair dryer was burnt. The good thing is the room is very big than expected, especially the shower room, I like that. Anyway, both the pricing and environment are not matched so much. The top platform is amazing, where can be able to watch the west lake in a long view. I think that hotel management can try to improve some service details in the future.

The service of this hotel is terrific. The staff are very friendly.

Very convenient spot to Xihu and night market. Lots of eating places nearby too
