Staff was nice and always smile and helpful. Breakfast was ok but not like a Hotel. Nothing in room. No tea bag or coffee in room, no iron, no cup no telephone. You need to go to the reception in person to ask for something. No air conditioner only had a small fan in the room so sleep not well due to feel hot. Toilet in the room was big enough for 2 persons stay inside. Sauna room very dark no towel supplied in the sauna room.

Sono stato qui la settimana scorsa (metà novembre) per motivi di lavoro. L'albergo è situato al centro della città ed è su 6 piani, serviti molto bene da due ascensori. Il personale alla reception, per quanto poco sorridente, è stato molto puntuale ed efficiente. La pulizia delle camere è buona. Il bagno non ha il box doccia e questo per me è stata la carenza di cui ho sofferto di più. C'è un telo di plastica che circonda l'angolo doccia e l'acqua scola verso i buchi di scarico, però preferisco il box doccia. La colazione era davvero eccellente sia per scelta tra dolce e salato che per l'attenzione agli intolleranti al lattosio o al glutine. L'albergo offre ai clienti, senza costi aggiuntivi, piscina (l'acqua dovrebbe essere di qualche grado più alta) e sauna. Per i viaggio di lavoro è sicuramente consigliato. I prezzi sono in linea con il costo della vita da queste parti.

Bit ”outdated” hotel but within a central location in town. Rooms are clean, but walls & doors are very thin, so noise from corridor & neigboring rooms can be easily heard. Sauna was nice, but washing room was bit filthy…. Food in restaurant quite standard, or even bit below that, but personnel in all occasions were very nice and polite. So if you are just overnighting that’s fine, but people looking for nice experience, should probably go elsewhere…. Ps. Hotel has both indoors (narrow parking slots) and outdoors own parking space.

I have stayed at Scandic Hämeenlinna City a couple of times during the last 2 years and it is always perfect. The hotel is very calm and relaxing. The breakfast is also wonderful and there is a sauna etc. I always love coming to this hotel after a long trip.

The room was quite dirty, the floor had large stains (that might even be in the floor material so they won't even clean out - the parquet might not be the best material choice). The room had two chairs and both were dirty as the chairs in the restaurant too (had to check if they were wet before sitting). The rooms have poor sound proofing, so the sleep was not very good. Staff was friendly and the breakfast was good even for a person who has gluten free diet. If you are looking for a roof over your head and a place to sleep this is ok hotel. But if you hope for peace & quiet and quality time with your partner this might not be the smartest choice.

Impossible to sleep! There is a bar in the hotel and they play music until very late. I could feel the bass even though i had earplugs. Would have liked a good night sleep, did not get it. Do not go there if you want to sleep.

We were in Finland for a race in Lahti. Close enough for us to stay and the town was really cool, centered with a castle and a good military museum.

Nice friendly staff at front desk and breakfast. At the bar you got the feeling that you bothered them so many people went out to other places instead. Breakfast was gret! Rooms had no aircondition so it was quit high temperature in them and we had no showergel or shampoo either. We had no fan in our room as we where told it should be, heard 3 others that had fans but they where all broken. Good location at city centre!

Certainly the most unwelcoming hotel in the city. In the dustbin I found trash of the lerson who ocuppied the room previously and the doener smell was awful. The bathroom had an unpleasant smell as well, tje bathroom is flooded after you take a shower. Furniture very basic and well used. Breaksfast was ok but choices scarce compared to other Scandic Hotels. Better invest your money at the SOKOS close to the station.
