Auszeit Hotel Hamburg

We booked this hotel based on two criteria: safety (location) and reviews. We were more than satisfied on both counts. This hotel is definitely worth the reviews. And it is located in a residential area which is quiet and a 10 minute walk to the StrasseBahn/Bus Station. We used the S-Bahn to get into Hamburg everyday. It was a 25-30 min. ride and completely hassle-free. There are two huge grocery stores in either side of the hotel so you can shop for your conveniences. There is a pharmacy and all other shops if you want to linger in that area. This was our first trip and we spent most of it in the central area of Hamburg. We arrived around 9 pm on our first night and I was concerned about the phone "keys" and I didn't see any personnel but it turned out to be easy and uncomplicated. They send all the instructions and you just follow them. The room key and number was sent via email and one can download their app too. The keys work regardless. The room was quiet, clean and very welcoming. We did have breakfast every morning and were warmly welcomed by the staff. I was so surprised because we have heard about the stereotypical Hamburg gruffness. They went out of their way to accommodate our dietary needs even though we hadn't requested anything extra and there was plenty to eat within our dietary restrictions.The breakfast is typical of all German boutique hotels. We enjoyed the beautiful room and the tasteful decor. Also, enjoyed the touches of ecological consciousness and gentle reminders to do our bit for the planet. Even though the hotel is quite far from inner city Hamburg, it is very conveniently accessible by public transport and I would base myself here again if I visited Hamburg in the future.

The host couple are so gracious and accommodating. The rooms are nicely appointed and very quiet. The electronic room key and free secure parking are bonuses. You can check yourself in if you come after hours. While I did not try the breakfast, it looks amazing. This is our third stay, if you're in Hamburg they are highly recommended!

I was very concerned about the location but Train station at Neugraben is only 3 blocks away. Transportation to downtown and tourist areas piece of cake in S3 train. Great price, very clean, Wifi, excl. breakfast, reg./ckout online 4 automated entry, & staff very helpful.

Alles prima. Wie auch schon die Aufenthalte zuvor. Sehr angenehm und unkompliziert. Durch die Digitalisierung hat man rechtzeitig Zugang zum Zimmer, den Eingängen und der Tiefgarage. Sehr freundliche Leute, die einem das Gefühl geben, man ist wirklich herzlich willkommen. Das Frühstück im Wintergarten ein weiteres Highlight und ein Traum. Es fehlt an nichts. Ich/wir werden immer wieder kommen.

Der Name ist Programm, die Gastgeber machen alles, um dem Gast eine wunderschöne Auszeit zu verschaffen. Wir haben an einem langen Wochenende jeden Morgen das fantastische Frühstück mit frischen Produkten genossen, auch unser Zimmer war perfekt.

Sehr guter Gästeservice und zuvorkommende Betreuung, auch on-line. Alles klappt, alles funktioniert. Wunderbares Frühstücksbuffet in ruhigem Ambiente. Super gelegen: 5 min zum einkaufen und zu etlichen Restaurants (Tip: Taverna Korfu - griechisch), 5 min zur S-Bahn / Bus (Tip: Bus 251 bis Finkenwerder, dort mit Fähre zu den Landungsbrücken, alles im Deutschland-Ticket inbegriffen)
