"Le villa sono situate in un bellissimo complesso circondato da foreste, dove si può iniziare una passeggiata naturale proprio fuori dalla porta, o raggiungere il centro città con solo una passeggiata 20-minute. La villa stessa è spaziosa e confortevole, un vero piacere di rimanere in specie con un incendio che si rompe nel fuoco, un soffitto nel jacuzzi, o quando un canguro arriva alla finestra. La pulizia senza spot e una cucina ben attrezzata, completa con un'ottima colazione continentale."

"Questa era la mia seconda volta che mi fermo qui, e ancora una volta, è stata una grande esperienza; dopo un bel giorno di esplorazione dei Grampiani, è stato bello tornare in un luogo che ha tutto quello che avete bisogno. Le strutture sono eccellenti, soprattutto la cucina spaziosa che ha reso la preparazione del pasto facile e piacevole.La zona comune del salotto è stata un piacevole evidenziatore durante l'inverno, hanno anche un posto in fiamme che aggiunge un caldo, festivo toccante. Il divano era pulito e super comodo, perfetto per rilassarsi dopo un lungo giorno. La stanza stessa era molto comoda. Il riscaldatore funzionava perfettamente, e tutto dalla toletta al doccia era senza spot. avevamo tutto cio' che ci serviva per un soggiorno rilassante. Il check-in è stato regolare, anche se vale la pena notare che l'iscrizione è disponibile solo durante una finestra di tempo limitato. Sarò certamente tornato. Molto consigliato!"

"We arrived at the tavern with tempered expectations, but the room was even more disappointing than anticipated. Here are a few of the major issues: Ventilation: The room lacked proper ventilation, feeling more like a makeshift cardboard box than a comfortable accommodation. The single door to the common area couldn't be left open for privacy reasons, making it impossible to dry towels or air out the room. Bathroom Hazard: The towel rack was dangerously loose, with exposed nails that could have caused serious injury. Despite attempts to secure it, it remained unstable. Shower Malfunction: The showerhead was constantly falling off, making showering an unpleasant and inconvenient experience. Service: While we understand this is a tavern, there was no clear point of contact for basic requests like extra pillows or waste removal. The only positive aspect of our stay was the location. I would not recommend this accommodation to anyone unless they have no other options."

"I’ve spent the better part of a week staying at the Grampian Pioneer Cottages for a solo break. Specifically, the red brick cottage. It was a very pleasurable and peaceful experience and for those few days, I felt like I had my own slice of Halls Gap hence the review title. I could definitely see myself returning in another 12 months Although there are several cottages on the property, they’re sufficiently spaced; not like living on those new estates that are seemingly popping up all over the suburbs. I didn’t hear so much as a peep out of my neighbours all week. By the same token, the owner’s cottage is only a very short walk away and they provide their mobile number so they can be reached if you need assistance. On that note: Aiden and Corrie were both very helpful and delightful to deal with. The cottages are also self contained complete with a fully equipped kitchen, fridge (with a freezer) so you can cook meals and save a fortune on restaurant and/or takeaway meals. On that note: being cottages, there isn’t an option to buy food or drinks on site. There’s a supermarket/general store in town (a short drive) to buy provisions, though. Everything was immaculately clean and the furniture was very comfortable so no complaints there. I was also pleased with the number of towels and flannels provided as well as the pillows and bedding. Between extra blankets, pillows and electric blankets you definitely won’t go cold. You’ll also stay cool during warmer months between the fans and split system. I also enjoyed having my own chickens for company as part of my stay. On my first day, I heard something at my door and upon investigation, I was greeted by a brown chicken whom I christened as Chickadee. She was consistent about bringing her two gal pals at 3:00 pm daily and we had a hen’s party together As to why I didn’t give five stars? A couple of items: - Shower - I can appreciate the owners have made an effort to install modern shower heads and taps while maintaining the facade of a bush cottage bathroom. In saying that, there was nowhere to put toiletries such as a soap dish or shower caddy. They have pump dispensers of shampoo and body wash; however, if you want to use your own stuff then there isn’t anywhere to put it while you’re in the shower. Still on the subject of the shower and my main peeve: unlike most showers, which are on a base or have a lip to keep the water out, this shower had nothing of the sort. As a result, half the bathroom got flooded every night after taking a shower. The cottage is designed to hold 8 people (two queen beds and two sets of bunks) and I ended up using every towel in the cottage to clean up the water; I machine washed them in hot water afterwards and hung them out to dry rather than asking for fresh towels daily. - Rickety staircase - there’s a loft bedroom with one of the queen beds. However, the staircase felt very rickety and made me uncomfortable using it. I stayed on the ground floor in the room wit"
