We made an RCI time-share exchange into this resort and were very satisfied. The one-bedroom suite was extremely well equipped; not just a kettle but also a teapot! A very peaceful resort, in well kept grounds with friendly, helpful staff who responded quickly to requests. Easy access to Haliburton and Minden. The paddleboat and canoes are very available at the small private beach. Saw deer every day, as many as 5 on one occasion, and a fox which came roaring across the property. Surrounded by forest.

The four season resort was quiet, and employees were very friendly. The one bedroom suite consisted of a queen bed, microwave, and small refrigerator. A table and 2 chairs along with a sofa. The television channels were limited. However, the front desk had dvd, and games they would lend out. (It rained several days, so we made use of a few movies) A washer and dryer were in a room shared between 2 suites. The area is pretty remote. The view of the lake was beautiful. There is a wolf sanctuary nearby. We did see some red foxes run across the resort.

Haliburton is a beautiful area with lots of things to explore within a 1.5 hour drive from the resort. Which made it a good location for the day trips we planned. As for the resort itself, it is looking tired and dated. It seems that there has not been any investment made in the resort for some time. It also did not help that the resort next door has been abandoned for many years and had a major fire with the debris from an attempted clean up is being stored on the property.

Great except for those xpecttng to prepare all their meals in the unit. The single hot plate was OK for cooking an egg but fortunately we brought or Forman Grill and crock pot. Aso had to use our eletrical 3 socket adaptor to accomodate our needs. had to share one plug between coffee maaker and the table light.

We spent time with our family in July. Area is beautiful but units (resort) are falling apart. Units are so outdated, carpets, couches dirty, no AC. The property is not kept. The staff is very friendly and helpful, no complaints about the staff there, but this resort needs an overhaul. Furniture is so old, everything out dated. Being a time share resorts why is this resort not maintained? We pay maintenance fees which go up every year and nothing is being done to this resort, WHY??

Lovely property, quiet, clean. Great amenities in the units (tub, washer/dryer, dishwasher, well stocked kitchen). Most people were fishing from the dock (vs swimming) while we were there but there is a public beach nearby.

The unit was spacious with extra small amenities. Extremely quiet & peaceful. Rear of the buildings need maintenance. Front of the buildings are very nice with baskets of flowers.

We had a studio apartment, very good condition well maintained. The bed was very comfortable. The staff at the resort were all very friendly and helpful. Tianna does a great job of making you feel welcome. There were deer regularly seen on the property right close to our unit. we saw a fox and a groundhog as well. The view of the lake from our unit was perfect. Minden and Haliburton are not far and have lots of shops and stores. A very relaxing week.

A small charming town with lakes and forests to relax and recharge your batteries. Plenty hiking trails ,lakes to fish or just kick back and relax
