Hale Leialoha is a beautiful 2 bed 2 bath plantation style cottage located in "upcountry" Maui in the picturesque town of Haiku. Our Maui vacation rental is permitted (BBPH 2017/0004, SUP 2017/0010) and perfect for your memorable Hawaiian vacation dream! Hale Leialoha is a roomy 1,000 sq ft custom built cottage with a large covered deck for relaxation and outdoor dining. As our guest you will enjoy the modern finish and conveniences amidst the casual feel of old Hawaiiana with tropical furnishings throughout. Hale Leialoha provides the opportunity to experience the restful country lifestyle of Maui located on five tropical acres complete with grazing cattle and horses across the street. Enjoy amazing sunsets from the deck, stroll down to the cow pen to enjoy the cows and calves, or take a mile walk on Hog Back road. A few days in paradise
We had such a a wonderful time at this house. The location was perfect for us, being in striking distance of beaches while giving flexibility to travel the entirety of Maui. It was clean, excellently maintained and the beach chairs and toys were such a nice touch.

Quiet Country Stay
It was so nice to be out and away from the tourist congestion. It was a convenient location for the road to Hana. Clean and comfortable. The lanai was perfect for eating breakfast or sitting to relax or read. Overall, great stay! I’m

Family Vacation
So peaceful and a wonderful way to start our first time on Maui- the property was zen-like. We wished we had spent our whole holiday there instead of staying at the beach for the second part of our stay. We will definitely return.

Beautiful home to relax and enjoy while in Hawaii
Our family of 5 stayed at Dave and Natalie's home. It was such a retreat and relaxing getaway. We love the quiet setting. We didnt mind driving becuase it really is close to so much. We thoroughly enjoyed meeting Dave and Natalie such wonderful hosts. Let the kids visit the goats and cows. We so generous with lending the boogie boards and chairs for us to use. It was really a perfect place! We cant wait to come and stay again. Also, the beds and pillows were a dream! So comfortable. The kitchen had everything you could need to cook, and the bbq was such a bonus!

Beautiful cottage in Haiku
The cottage was exactly as described with upscale finishes throughout. Included were comfy beds, lots of extra towels, places to sit inside and on the lanai. Everything you needed to prepare meals with eating inside and outside. Highly recommend for up to 6 people who want to stay upcountry on Maui. Towns of Paia, Haiku and Makawao are nearby.

Great place, great hosts!
The property was very nice and clean, with new furniture and appliances. Natalie and Dave were very responsive, accommodating, and generous. We really enjoyed our stay.

Tropical Family Vacation
This rental was perfect for our family - Grandpa & Lovie; Adult Daughter & Son-in-Law and 4 yr old granddaughter!
The location is perfect for spending time in Upcoutry! Close to the RTH, Makawao, Paia, and getting to the top of Haleakala for sunrise (if you have a reservation).
West Maui is a bit of a drive, but we weren't spending much time there on this trip.
Having a house to prepare breakfast and eat-in dinner after a long day of sight-seeing was the perfect start & ending of each day.
Games and puzzles available at the house helped keep the little one occupied. And so did the goats!
Will definitely inquire about staying there for our next trip!

Restful spot
We like to find quiet, out-of-the-way places to stay and this one is perfect. Beautiful location and property, attentive hosts, peaceful place to just relax. Hope to come back again!
