Hotel a Hague, Paesi Bassi

It took me a while to write this review since I was afraid of my personal safety. Nevertheless, I have finally decided to share this information with other travelers. This incident happened during a weekday night when I decided to do a walk-in at the Ibis hotel in Den Haag after a long trip. I was already aware of some bad reviews from other travelers indicating ”naughty” staff. Nonetheless, I decided to give it a go. I entered the hotel and mentioned the hotel clerk that I wanted to book a room. His attitude was rough indicating me that he did not have any rooms left. For my bad luck, my phone was out of battery so I decided to seat in one of the tables in the lobby to quickly charge it to look for a hotel somewhere else. While I was charging my phone, the clerk approached me and shouted at me that I had to leave the hotel. I explained him that I wanted to charge my phone to look for other hotels in the area and I wouldn't take much time. He continued shouting at me that I had to leave, when suddenly he grabbed my bag and literally threw it to the street. At this moment I was petrified since I never imagined something like this was happening. Then, he pushed me violently out of the hotel. Luckily I managed to take a picture of this guy. The guy has a tattoo on his right arm and rather than a hotel clerk, he thinks he is a MMA fighter or part of gang. I really don't know how the manager of this hotel can have person like this with such level of anger dealing with customers. My review by no means intend to advice other travelers to visit or not this hotel. I believe the facilities of this hotel are quite nice but what I can say is that I'm not entering this place again until they take strong actions towards improving the quality of their staff. I hope this guy doesn't get fired because of this review but if the hotel really wants to keep him, the hotel should consider send him to an anger management course. I don't know if this guy is always like this or just had a bad night and he took it on me. Nonetheless, I think no one should suffered what this guy did to me under any circumstance.

I reserved a hotel with bath inside the room. When we arrived it was farely busy in the hotel due to the check in times. We waited for 20 minutes to check in and were told we got upgraded to a wellness room with a sauna. We took a walk along the beach which is litteraly in front of the hotel and we enjoyed a nice jacuzzi and sauna the rest of the evening. With a stunning view along the beach and city. Yes it was pricey! And parking in front of the hotel is 25€ per day or 6,50€ per hour which is really expensive (the hotel cant do anything about the parking fees because of the government, but maybe public transport is an option for you) Pricey, but absolutely worth every penny. And dont forget you get access to their own wellness included with your room!

Great hotel, nice employee, fantastic service, phenomenal experience. I stayed there with a friend for a week, each day we left the hotel at the morning/noon before 11 am. Afterwards we got a cleaned room with new bathtubs and also the kitchen was refilled. The personal was cool. Would like to stay a bit longer

Recentemente sono rimasto qui per 2 notti con il mio partner.Come frequenti viaggiatori dei Paesi Bassi verso le varie città, tra cui Den Haag, non ci siamo mai rimasti qui prima. Abbiamo una sala di vista giardino (aggiornata come membri del club) con tutto quello che doveva essere pulito e confortevole letto, sicurezza, doccia grande con tovaglie, eccetera e molto tranquilla di notte. Il loro colazione è stato un complimentare, inclusi nel tasso, che è stato un stile buffet ma più che adeguato con una selezione di formaggi freddi, cereali, pasticceria, tè, succo di succo arancione e uova cotte. Il piccolo bar sul sito e la macchina del ghiaccio in lobby. Abbiamo ricevuto un check-out tardivo perché abbiamo un volo più tardi che è stato davvero apprezzato . Ottimo luogo per l'affari o qualsiasi dei siti visitatori a Den Haag. Noi sicuramente ritorneremmo e consiglieremmo.😀

È un hotel molto bello, situato nel centro della città. Bello design, le camere sono piacevoli. Il colazione è buona. Chi viene con una macchina è consigliato di non parcheggiare nel parcheggio sotto l'hotel, perché è costoso. Abbiamo campato in un parcheggio a pochi passi (dopo aver lasciato il bagaglio dell'hotel) sulla Geest Street 1. Abbiamo avuto un'esperienza meno piacevole, nostra figlia si sentiva malata, e non avevano idea di dove rivolgerci e siamo stati anche inviati all'emergenza che si è rivelato essere chiusi per tre anni. Quindi solo salute, e godere.

I love Novotel as a chain, and have stayed at this hotel before and was quite happy. This time I felt things were a little off and I wasn't as satisfied. I seem to recall getting a free bottle of water in the room, which it appears is not included anymore. No more individual shower gels and soaps, but now big pumps of soap, which is OK if you have the complete set of them. Yes, it's more environmentally friendly but it's also a sign of cost-cutting. Breakfast was more or less the same -- good choice and quality -- except on a busy weekend they seemed totally overwhelmed and people had to queue to get a table. On a quieter morning, I noticed a sign stating one can request omelettes and poached eggs from the kitchen, so I did, and this dish never materialized, which was a little awkward. The fresh orange juice machine is awful: constant noise and queues of people taking ages to each make one glass of juice, as it requires that the user slice the orange and then ram each half, one at a time, into the machine, yielding a tiny amount of juice. Repeat for 6 or 7 oranges to get a glass... It would be funny to watch as slapstick if it weren't so annoying to listen to. On the positive side, the rooms are still attractive, comfortable, and quiet.

Stavo per 5 notti. Inizialmente avevo prenotato per 3 ma ho scritto alla ricezione di nuovo a novembre volevo estendere il soggiorno a 5 notti. Ho chiesto se solo facessi una nuova prenotazione e hanno detto no, è stato registrato. Quando sono arrivato alla ricezione, non hanno registrato il mio soggiorno di 5 notti e ho dovuto trovare l'e-mail per confermare sia la proroga che le notti restanti da pagare. La persona era bella e la riparava, ma mi sentivo un po' strano, e dopo la terza notte ho ricevuto un messaggio automatico di check-out, quindi ho controllato con la ricezione e pensavano che avessi controllato e dovevo passare di nuovo tutto. Avrei già pagato, così ho spiegato anche questo. Forse un biglietto o qualcosa del genere potevo essere aggiunto al sistema. La posizione era perfetta. Mi sentivo al sicuro andare in giro la notte e era molto conveniente per il centro di Amare. Il letto era molto confortevole e la doccia era calda e la doccia era di buona dimensione. Mi piacevano avere alcuni canali BBC. Penso che il giorno 4 il wifi era sbagliato. Questo non è colpa della ricezione, ma era fuori da probabilmente 30 ore. Sembra strano in un grande hotel per essere fuori per così tanto tempo. Purtroppo, ma alla fine è stato risolto. Il personale era bello. I lift funzionavano bene.

Sono rimasto in questo hotel con un amico per quasi una settimana in agosto.Abbiamo avuto una camera da letto. Quello che ci piaceva davvero è stato il personale molto amichevole e utile e la grande posizione (5 minuti a piedi dalla spiaggia di Scheveningen, la passeggiata con molti ristoranti e il Pier con le sue attrazioni come Zip-Lining, saltare bungee, di cibo o saune, 5 minuti a tram fino al centro), anche se le camere sono piuttosto piccole. Non ci piaceva che si pagassero un sacco di cose (spazzatrici per immagazzinare il bagaglio l'ultimo giorno per 6€ / spazzatrice! - un rip off; pulizia extra della stanza - 15 €, altrimenti viene pulito solo dopo 4 giorni). Il colazione non è alberghiato, ma al centro commerciale (è a piedi ma ancora), anche se c'è una camera da colazione all'hotel.

Our bedrooms were clean and comfortable, with very comfortable beds. The hotel is centrally located, the buffet breakfast good. However, rooms overlooking the covered “Passage” shopping arcade have virtually no natural light and are noisy (cleaning starts early in the Passage and piped music is almost continuous when the shops are open!). We had two rooms, one overlooking the Passage and the other on the front of the building, which was slightly smaller but much more comfortable. Most frustratingly, we booked the hotel because it has a car park onsite but when we arrived we were asked if we drove an electric vehicle and told that as we do, we would not be able to use the car park as “electric vehicles are a fire risk”!!! This was particularly irritating because we had mentioned in our booking that we would be driving an EV. Disadvantages: no parking for EVs, rooms overlooking the “Passage” noisy and dark. Advantages: clean, comfortable beds, central.

L’accoglienza è molto buona e la posizione è strategica, vicino al centro. La stanza, pur essendo una family room di 48 mq non è in ordine, la moquette in camera e il rivestimento delle poltrone appaiono vecchie. Uno stipite di una porta è fortemente danneggiato. Ho aspettato più di quattro ore e tre telefonate per avere il divano letto dei bambini fatto. Al momento sto ancora aspettando. Penso sia un Hotel che vuole apparire più di quello che è in realtà.
