The hotel in Hokitika offered a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The rooms were tastefully decorated, providing a comfortable retreat after a day of activities. The friendly staff went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay, offering helpful recommendations and warm hospitality.

Good motel style hotel room, although rather dated and worn so not quite as nice as in the pictures! Staff were friendly and helpful and the food in the on site bar/restaurant nice

The Queen rooms seem to offer more than the King rooms for some reason. But generally the place was pleasant to stay.

酒店位於福克斯冰川以西120公里的哈斯特小鎮，適合去福克斯冰川或者從福克斯出來時候路途中住一晚。房間很舒服，落地窗外面即可以停車。早餐是經典的西式早餐，選擇不多但味道還行。如果想要出去吃飯需要到3公裡外的鎮中心。酒店周圍徒步圈內無任何商業設施。

很不錯的酒店 傍晚會有海鷗來 真的好懷念在那喂海鷗的感覺 並且酒店很乾凈方便 車可以停在門口 拿取行李十分方便 下次還會來這裏

這地界算是非常荒涼了，雖然毗鄰河口，附近還有一個加油站，但很早就關門了，需要自助加油。 酒店房間挺多，入口可以從門也可以從推拉落地窗進去（酒店會給你兩把鑰匙就是兩個入口）。 前台還兼顧着咖吧餐廳的服務員，所以可能飯點辦理入住手續需要等待。 訂的房間有三個卧室，但衹有一個衞浴間，略侷促。

床很小、 關鍵是前台不是24 小時。 所以要早到

非常棒的酒店，設施不錯，床很大，酒店餐廳很有鄉村味，菜品和啤酒味道都很不錯，環境沒話説，非常好，很喜歡，服務也非常好，很熱情，早餐品種少了些，但夠吃飽，滿意！

酒店很簡約，裝潢不是很現代，在適合過路居住。

The room was clean and as you would expect for a remote motel, but $26 for a breakfast that was implied to be included at check in was ridiculous.

We stayed here 10 years ago on a trip from the USA. Still very nice accommodations - great sleep (that’s always the real test!) and wonderful meal at their restaurant. We had the lamb shanks and … mmmm!! Took a drive out to Ship Creek and took a couple of the walks there. Lots of rain through the night, but we’re nice and comfortable inside. Hopefully it won’t be another 10 years until we return!

It is a motel...The accommodation blocks are fairly basic but don't let that put you off. The rooms are clean and the bed very comfortable. Whilst they appeared pretty much full, there was absolutely no noise. An unintended benefit is the site is quite dark and therefore the stars are amazingly clear. There is a restaurant and bar on site. The food offer in Haast village is pretty basic so the chances are you will opt to eat on site. The range of mains is good and the quality also good. Haast, I read, sees itself as a 'frontier' place. Certainly if you are visiting the west coast there are limited ways in or out. Haast is a good base, if you arrive from Otago, to begin your adventure heading north. And doubtless would be a good place if you were heading out walking or cycling locally. The staff were friendly and helpful and obviously work hard to ensure the rooms and meals are top quality. I would recommend you stay here if you are visiting the area or passing through.

If you like 1960s accommodations, this would be for you. I was lucky to get the room facing the field, beaut to look out. Bath towel in room is so frail, the linings are hanging out. We only paid A$154 for the night & not much around the area. Dinner has a few choices & the chefs were working hard with tour group as well. I definitely will not stay again. In fact cannot wait in the morning to get going.
