Super hotel, in de binnenstad van Haarlem. 24/7 open. Jammer dat er twee bedden naast elkaar stonden, enige minpunt!

Sabato notte non abbiamo dormito, la direzione dell'hotel aveva deciso di organizzare una festa in discoteca privata accanto alla nostra camera. Era ridicolo, rumoroso e con frequentatori di feste che urlavano e bevevano accanto alla nostra stanza e alle finestre. il membro del personale dell'hotel con il turno di notte si è scusato e ha cercato di trovarci un'altra stanza a mezzanotte, ma a quel punto eravamo troppo esausti per cambiare stanza. Il personale ha detto che ci avrebbero contattato per il problema il giorno successivo, ma non lo hanno mai fatto.

This hotel is situated right in the heart of the beautiful town square, in the shadow of the stunning St Bavo's church. I have stayed in this area a few times, and thought it might be a little noisy with the market on, but it was so quiet and comfortable inside. The hotel itself is very nice, and the Christmas decorations were so pretty. The market stalls were right outside the hotel and all around the town. Haarlem is beautiful all year round, and I would definitely stay in the Ambassador again.

The staff were friendly and helpful and took care to be accommodating for the elderly guest.
The specific room was selected because it was described as accessible -- But there were no accessibility features in the bathroom / shower room (no railings, no cord to pull in case of a fall or an emergency).

This hotel has a excellent location. When we entered the hotel my wife asked how much we were paying to stay because the area and lobby was excellent. Once we entered our room she said some other things. There was a stain on the carpet just as we entered the room that made us look at the carpet more closely and we think that they should have replaced it already. The walls had marks all over and the curtains were dirty.The room had a nice size, shower was nice if you like drying the entire bathroom floor after using it. It was almost completely open to the rest of the bathroom. Our room had a vent pipe beside it and we listened to the air flow when ever it was quiet in the room. Fantastic location!
