This is a ground floor unit with approximately 600 square feet of living area near the main building entrance. The center courtyard and tranquil inter-coastal backyard are just a few steps down through the breezeway. Please note, there is no water view from inside the apartment. There is one queen bed in bedroom 1, and two twin beds in bedroom 2. USB plugins for your electronics are provided in both bedrooms and the living area. The property is secured by a large, access controlled wooden gate which is adjacent to the apartments front door; the apartment has a smart lock with keyless entry. Guests are provided access codes the morning of their scheduled arrival via text and email.The apartment is equipped with a large "Smart TV" with cable and internet streaming services (Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, etc) -- guests must have their own account. High speed Wi-Fi internet is provided throughout the property (yes--even outside on the grounds!) at no charge. The large smart key controlled shed holds many of the goodies--you will be provided the code upon check in. The spacious grounds, beach and other "toys" are shared by all guests. The property affords multiple seating areas for our guest's comfort. There is a hot/cold outdoor shower with a privacy door that you won't want to miss, and a spectacular outdoor kitchen/bar for entertaining. The beach is literally across the street! Also directly across the street is the Island Inn Resort which has a great little Tiki Bar on the beach and is open to the public. You can rent kayaks, paddleboards and more on the beach in front of the Island Inn.A short walk to the south of us is a liquor store, surf shop (with paddle board rentals), 7-11 store with gas, Caddy's on the Beach, Sea Dogs, Shrimpy’s, and Sea Hags restaurant. About a 10 minute walk to the north of us is Publix grocery store and many restaurants and bars. Close to Tyrone Square Shopping Mall, Salvador Dali Museum, Sunken Gardens, St. Petersburg Downtown, Fort De Soto Park. Tampa International Airport is about a 35 minute drive. Busch Gardens and Tampa Bay Aquarium are about a 45 minute drive. Clearwater Beach and Marine Aquarium are about 25 minutes north of us. We are approximately 2 hours from Disney World, Sea World & Universal Studios-Orlando.There are 5 parking spaces in front of our building (A thru E). All of the spaces are the same width, but different lengths due to the angle of the building. Please park in the space that best fits the length of your vehicle. Parking space E is best suited for guests with full size pickup trucks or suburban type SUVs. Please note parking is limited to 1 vehicle only. If you choose to park in space E and there is a guest with a larger vehicle than yours, you may be asked to move your vehicle.Laundry closet is located next to the center courtyard and there is no charge to use the machines.One boat slip is available to guests and must be reserved in advance. This space would be perfect for a family vacation, or snowbirds wanting to enjoy paradise and get away for the winter months!The Space:As you first walk into the condo you are welcomed by the spacious kitchen with granite countertops and bright white cabinets. All of the appliances are in tip-top shape and stainless steel. If you step through the first door on your left you will find the first bedroom. This bedroom has a queen bed and cheery coastal blue bedroom furniture. The first full-bath will also be to your left with a beautiful walk-in shower, next to the brand new LG WashTower washer and dryer, which is tucked away in a closet for convenience and space. The kitchen looks onto the dining room and cozy family room. The coastal decorations really make you feel like you are at home in a cozy Florida cottage! The master bedroom is on the left side of the family room with an on-suite bathroom including a full shower/tub combination. The master bedroom also has sliding glass doors opening onto the balcony. The best part of the condo is stepping onto that balcony from either the master bedroom or the sliding doors from the family room. The balcony offers some comfortable seating with an incredible view of the swimming pool and of course, the Gulf of Mexico! We offer Pac N Play!The Neighborhood:We are part of Sunset Vistas condo complex. You will have access to everything on the grounds.Treasure Island is a quiet community situated on a barrier island and is 19 blocks long. Gulf Boulevard is one of the prettiest streets that you will drive/walk on. In this area it is a strip of land between the ocean and intracoastal waterway. There are so many charming restaurants and shops that make this area so desirable to stay in.Getting Around:There are many ways you can get around this area of Treasure Island. The easiest and quickest way to cover ground would be driving. However, there are several places where you are able to rent bikes, and even rent little motorized buggies to drive up and down the coast. If you are feeling up for it, walking is a fun way to enjoy great local restaurants, bars and shops. There is also a free trolley system with a stop right in front of this condo.Other Things to Note:Sunset Vistas is extremely family friendly with so many great amenities to offer. Just a short walk and you are barefoot on the beach! Enjoy the large heated pool, 2 whirlpools, and second kiddie pool with fountains. Also enjoy access to the business center and well equipped workout facility. There is the convenience of an on-property restaurant/cafe with the friendliest staff, an on-property tiki bar, a big bin full of beach toys, and bike rentals. We offer Pac N Play! Please let the host know if you need the Pac N Play. The location of this condo is fabulous. Not only is it located directly on one of America’s award winning beaches, but you can also walk to John’s Pass Village which is a boardwalk for more restaurants, jet-ski rentals, shopping, boat rentals, fishing and so much more! There is also Busch Gardens just a short drive away along with many museums.
