JR長野駅からすぐの場所にあり雨天時は地下通路が使えるので傘いらずです。東急百貨店や駅ビルも隣接、すぐ隣に農協の売店もあり地元のリンゴや野菜を安く変えました。部屋は明るくて広く清潔感があり、駅前にもかかわらず静かで快適でした。朝食が品数が多く味付けもよく美味しくいただきました。全国旅行割の活用でお得に宿泊できましたが、次回も長野での宿泊ならここを選びたいと思います。

I chose this hotel because of its location but also because they have great customer service. From the time I booked via Agoda, I had some questions for the hotel ahead of time, and they replied to every question,e.g. their luggage delivery cut-off times,etc with utmost clarity and replied promptly and frequently (compared to another hotel I booked previously). It gave me no worries that I would find the hotel I booked in perfect order when I arrived. Amenities were complete (some are available in the room but also more in the lobby area) and the room was clean. They gave us new towels every day (hanging outside my door or quickly given to me when they saw me in the hall) even if I didn't want to have maid service. They also asked me if they could do a very quick removal of trash which I appreciated. The housekeeper was also very cheerful and happy at all times :-) There's a convenience store on the ground floor, but also many other restaurants and shops around the area. the lobby is on the 5th floor and an elevator brings you up to the rooms. It's a perfect place to base ourselves especially since we were taking day trips out to Hotaka, Matsumoto, Shiojiri, and Naraijuku. All these with easy train rides from Nagano. The front desk staff were friendly and very helpful. They do go out of their way to make customers satisfied. The night front desk agent who was helping us with arrangements for luggage delivery didn't speak English too well, but you can see him trying his best. Between us doing google translate and his dedication to making us understand each other, we were both happy and satisfied. I would come back here to stay.

Bbb travelsThe hotel feels new, and clean. We enjoyed the amenities of the place, and the convenience — all that one expects from a brand-name hotel. The only downside is that the room we were allocated faces the temple cemetery, which should’ve been told to us earlier upon check in. Other than that, it’s a pretty decent hotel for a quick short stay in Nagano.

We have been traveling around the world for the past two years and we have stayed in many hotels. I have never written a bad review of a hotel before. This is the reason I think you should reconsider your reservation at the Mecure hotel and spa. It’s a long review, but I believe it is helpful for future travelers. We have been traveling around Japan for the past three months and we have stayed in numerous hotels in numerous cities. We absolutely love Japan and we have no complaints for any of the other hotels that we have stayed in. However, the Mecure Hotel Resort and Spa does not come close to meeting our expectations. It is the only hotel where no staff greeted us upon arrival to help with luggage. It is the only hotel that didn’t allow us to check in one hour early. Even though we know that there was only a 5-10% occupancy rate (based on the cars in the parking lot), they would not allow us to go to our room at 2 PM. - we had to wait until 3 p.m. They even kept the keys from us and we had to wait in line again to pick them up at 3 PM. One would think that they would have the welcome lounge open for people to wait for their rooms, but it doesn’t open until 3 PM. We had to lock up our luggage in order to keep it there for the hour. It was the only hotel that made us pay for ice. I did get a cup of ice in the lounge (3 cubes), but they told us we couldn’t bring it to our room. They offered us a welcome drink, but they wanted me to access the coupon on my phone on my Accor account yet they had the written coupon right there in front of them. Made no sense! Breakfast is only served from 7 AM until 9:30 AM, with the last orders being taken at 9 AM. For those of us who don’t like to get up early in the morning, that is a detrimental aspect of this hotel. We do a lot of research before we book a room at any hotel. We chose the classic twin room with a sofa bed and the mountain view. It very specifically listed “Mountain View,” and we knew we wanted that view based on our examination of Google maps of the hotel. When we arrived at our room, we looked out to see the parking lot and then the highway, and then about 5 to 7 miles in the distance we saw some mountains (see pictures below). We went downstairs to request a room change to the side that looked at the beautiful mountains and their response was “every room has a Mountain View.” That was not acceptable for us, so we had to push until they moved our room. Interestingly, the room they moved us to had a map of the mountain range that is the view. There was no such mountain map in the other room. We just examined the hotels website, and now none of the rooms have Mountain View listed, except for the junior suite. Our guess is that too many people complained when they were put in the rooms that have a view of the mountains 5 to 7 miles away. The bathroom is very very small. The furniture is adequate at best. The carpets are incredibly dirty. There are stains everywhere in the hallways and in the rooms

Per partecipare al mattino è necessario soggiornare allo Zenkoji Shukubo, ma non c'è posto per una sola persona. Non ho scelta. La tariffa normale per l'alloggio va dai 6000 agli 8000 yen. E' per una stanza per una persona? 18000 yen con colazione. Ha superato i 21.000 yen con la cucina Shojin per cena. La cucina vegetariana è scadente. La tempura è molliccia. Cibo bollito che non sa affatto di dashi e insalata di soba con un pessimo condimento. La presentazione è proprio così, ma ciò che era delizioso era il tofu al sesamo già pronto e la zuppa di kenchin appena tiepida. Inoltre, il marito al tavolo accanto stava bevendo alcolici, quindi ho ordinato che il riso arrivasse più tardi, ma me ne sono dimenticato e gliel'ho messo davanti una volta. È spuntato sul mio tavolo. Ahimè, ho alzato una voce di protesta, ma la giovane donna che mi ha servito è andata senza saperlo. Perché non indossava un'uniforme da lavoro. Potrebbe non essere stato uno staff a tempo pieno, ma il trattamento è il peggiore. C'era anche la corona e la stagione era disgustosa. Sembra che l'alloggio del tempio sia diverso da una normale locanda come copertura, e mi sono arrabbiato. Sembra che lo scambio telefonico del giorno prima non abbia trovato riscontro. C'è un tempo di attesa di circa 30 minuti. Di conseguenza, ha influito sui posti a sedere della colazione. La guida è stata molto attenta. Deve essere un problema dal lato dell'alloggio. Anche la scorciatoia giovane che si occupava del check-in è stata molto piacevole. È stato molto deludente. Per favore, usalo senza aspettarti nulla 💦 Vorrei che tornassi a studiare come minimo. Anch'io sono un unico proprietario, quindi questo potrebbe essere un problema. IIvanReceptionist was very friendly, recommending places to eat and things to do. Room was clean. The washing machine is free to use. Bed was very soft and comfortable. Location is about 15-20 mins walk from nagano station. And about 10 mins walk to zenkoji temple, you can wake up early and walk to see the early morning prayer that occurs at sunrise. Lots of food options as it is beside gondo shopping street
