Disappointing Stay at Heritage Resort, Manesar –Birthday Celebration We chose to stay at Heritage Resort, Manesar to celebrate my birthday on a Monday, hoping for a relaxing and memorable experience. Unfortunately, the overall stay fell short of expectations. Here’s a detailed breakdown: Kids’ Play Area (RUMPUS) – 2.5/5 The area showed promise but was poorly maintained. Used glasses and empty bottles were left lying around, and no staff assistance was available despite multiple requests. This was particularly disappointing as we were traveling with a young child. High Tea – 3/5 The live music created a pleasant and soothing atmosphere, which we appreciated. However, the snack selection was quite limited—just cheese balls, a sandwich, one type of biscuit, and thandai. For a resort experience, we expected more variety. Bar Experience – 1.5/5 Due to resort policy, we couldn’t access the bar with our 4-year-old child, which we respected. The staff kindly offered to serve drinks in the restaurant, but the ambiance was lacking—no music, no vibe. It felt like having a drink at home. Additionally, happy hours only covered cheaper drinks, which was a letdown. Dinner – 3/5 A buffet dinner was expected but not available due to a low guest count (under 10). The à la carte dishes we ordered were tasty, but we missed the variety and experience of a buffet meal. Room Quality – 2/5 The room did not live up to expectations. It lacked the charm, comfort, and heritage feel that the resort's name suggests. Overall, it felt basic and uninspired. Swimming Pool – 3.5/5 One of the few highlights of our stay. The pool was clean and well-maintained. Breakfast – 2.5/5 The breakfast spread was minimal and lacked variety. For a resort, we anticipated a more elaborate and appealing selection. Overall Rating – 2.7/5 The Resort may be livelier on weekends as we heard, but weekday guests, especially families celebrating special occasions, should not feel neglected.
