Acholi Inn

I'm staying in Gulu for a few months and this has now become favourite place to hang out. The bar, dining area and outdoor section is very nice, clean and inviting. Today we sat by the pool and I ordered the stir fry chicken meal and wow the food massively exceeded my expectations. The kind waiter/ poolside attendant was very attentive and polite. I could tell he was working so hard as the pool was really busy on this Saturday and everyone was ordering food and drinks. I appreciated him as he was so polite and smiley despite the heat and the busy pool! I look forward to coming back here as it's my haven to escape the hectic city life! Ps - Just a suggestion - The establish could benefit from hiring an iPad / Tablet of some kind for the poolside waiter to send the orders over to the bar / restaurant without all that walking back and forth to put the order through.

This is a relatively new, modern hotel in the center of Gulu. The lobby and rooms have excellent air conditioning. There is an outer patio with an adjacent bar and dining room, which do not have AC with the exception of the dining room. There is a moderately large pool that is well maintained and wifi throughout the premises. The rooms are moderately spacious and comfortable. There is a bed net over the bed although it was open at the base. That said, the rooms had AC and there were no mosquitoes visible. There was a coffee maker but surprisingly no toiletries other than soap in the bathroom. Breakfast was included. Staff were very friendly.

Acholi inn is really the best hotel in gulu, I really enjoyed my stay and thanks for the quick and good service, I will definitely be coming back with my family and friends so that they can enjoy the same experience

This is without a doubt the best hotel in Northern Uganda. The coffee, food and services are impeccable. This is the kind of a hotel that a city needs. If you are looking for a holiday staycation local in Gulu City this festive season, look no further.
