Anche prima del mio arrivo, lo staff ha fatto di tutto per garantire un soggiorno piacevole. Ho ricevuto un messaggio il giorno prima della mia prenotazione per chiamare l'hotel. Quando ho chiamato, mi hanno chiesto se potevano inviarmi un messaggio su Wechat perché non parlavano inglese. Lo staff voleva semplicemente sapere il mio orario di arrivo in modo da poter accendere l'aria condizionata nella stanza per rinfrescarla prima del mio arrivo.
L'hotel è più un B&B che un hotel, simile al design di una casa. L'edificio è alto 5 piani con circa 4 camere su ogni piano. Questo lo rende perfetto per sfuggire ai grandi gruppi di turisti che frequentano gli hotel più grandi.
Quando il taxi si è fermato fuori il giorno del mio arrivo, 2 membri dello staff sono usciti di corsa per darmi il benvenuto. Il check-in è stato veloce e mi hanno detto che mi avevano fatto l'upgrade a una stanza più grande. Mi hanno anche chiesto cosa volessi per colazione il giorno dopo perché avevano diverse opzioni ”occidentali” (pensa all'idea cinese di occidentale, ma comunque accettabile). Ho potuto mangiare toast e uova fritte ogni giorno.
La camera è davvero squisita, sono venuto da solo ma la consiglierei sicuramente alle coppie perché la vasca da bagno è paradisiaca.
I due balconi offrono una splendida vista sulle montagne carsiche. La camera è anche arredata con gusto in vimini e bianco. E la biancheria da letto è lussuosa. Il mio unico consiglio per la camera è di aggiungere alcune bustine di caffè solubile.
La piscina è perfetta per rinfrescarsi e che vista spettacolare dai lettini!
Ho nuotato tutti i giorni e ogni giorno mentre ero seduto a bordo piscina, il personale mi ha portato dell'acqua rinfrescante al limone da bere. Inoltre, ogni giorno del mio soggiorno mi hanno portato qualcosa: giorno 1 - anguria fresca e qualcosa di mirtillo (caramelle?), giorno 2 - pomodorini e altre cose di mirtillo, giorno 3 - mele e arachidi. Al momento del check-out, hanno preparato uno spuntino locale e una bottiglia d'acqua per il viaggio di ritorno.
Il personale di questo hotel fa davvero il possibile e si piega all'indietro per servirti. È da molto tempo che non vedo uno staff così entusiasta e questo è un piacevole cambiamento rispetto alle receptionist annoiate al telefono.
Non posso dare un punteggio alto all'hotel per il loro eccellente servizio di ospitalità.
Anche la posizione è perfetta: lontano dalla strada principale, ma a 15 minuti a piedi dalle zattere sul fiume e altri 5-10 minuti dalla ”città” e da una varietà di opzioni per mangiare. È lì che si gira a sinistra quando si arriva alla strada principale dall'hotel (5 minuti a piedi). Girare a destra su questa strada e si può camminare comodamente (30 minuti?) verso altri siti come quello con il buco nella montagna (sopravvalutato) e una squisita grotta, la grotta del drago. Se ti piacciono le grotte e le formazioni al suo interno, valuto molto questa grotta. È davvero meravigliosa. Puoi anche noleggiare biciclette o uno scooter a 10 metri di fronte all'hotel.
Lo staff non parla inglese, ma comunica tramite WeChat ed è più che felice di aiutare con qualsiasi cosa.

UUtente ospiteThe stay at SYYF was one of the best hotels I’ve ever been to. The room is cozy and spacious, with gorgeous floor to ceiling windows with a great view of the mountains. It’s also a hi tech smart room with a voice controlled assistant, Xiaodu, that can control the lights and open/shut the curtains (though it only understands Chinese). There’s also a cute tea set which is great for relaxing by the window. The room is equipped with AC and heat that works great, and the lights can go from bright to a dimmer evening mode, as well as sleep. We also got complimentary sodas, extremely cozy robes and nice house shoes for lounging. The breakfast is served 8-10AM is was definitely one of the best we have experienced in China while traveling. It was robust and offered both regional and western cuisine.
There is a lot of ongoing construction on the street that the property is on so be careful. It may be a bit of traffic congestion due to large machines, however the noise was not heard from our room. It might be challenging for Didi drivers to access but there are also e-scooters for rent for about 30 yuan per day.
The hotel is surrounded by mountains which are lit up at night for a gorgeous landscape at any time.
The welcome photoshoot was fun, with traditional clothes you can borrow. We spent about 30-45 minutes using different props across 3 locations on the property, and got tons of photos that we loved.
The staff is so accommodating and responsive and they helped with every little question. The bring lots of thoughtful small pleasantries which added a special touch and made us feel very cherished. They also offered a free shuttle for our departure ride to the train station at the end of our stay.
We came in early January and the weather was chilly at night and pleasant during the day. With a jacket it’s not too bad and on a sunny day it’s pleasant with a cool breeze.
We had a massage too, which you can order to your room or go to the spa which is close, and they provide shuttle service. The massage was good but a bit pricey even with the 50% off. There are less expensive places in the town not too far away.
West street is a popular tourist spot which is also close, about 15-20 minutes away by e-scooter. There’s plenty of shopping, restaurants and a little night life, but we didn’t go out during this trip.
10/10 experience and I would definitely recommend staying here! I can’t imagine staying anywhere else when I come back to Yangshuo, and this place makes you REALLY want to come back!

Svantaggi: Appena entri nella stanza, puoi sentire che è stata rinnovata relativamente presto e l'isolamento acustico è relativamente scarso. Il letto è a circa 1 metro dalle scale e c'è ancora una porta di legno andare su e giù al mattino può essere sentito molto chiaramente e non dovrebbe esserci I tubi fognari sono insonorizzati, quindi il rumore dei tubi fognari è molto evidente quando si fa la doccia al piano di sopra Non c'è uno specchio per il trucco nel bagno e l'illuminazione è scarsa. Dopo quasi cinque ore di viaggio in treno ad alta velocità da Zhangjiajie. Hunan, siamo finalmente arrivati nel nord di Guilin. Dopo una giornata di visite turistiche, abbiamo mangiato a Guilin, la famosa anatra gelosa, mia moglie ci ha suggerito di andare a Yangshuo, un posto con paesaggi pittoreschi e finti Guilin a Yangshuo e mia moglie ha esaminato molti tipi diversi di hotel. Alla fine, ho scelto lo Shixi Tianyue Hotel per via delle recensioni.
Ambiente: L'hotel sembra molto alto dall'esterno. Ogni camera ha un piccolo balcone. Ci sono molte strutture e aree pubbliche standard a cinque stelle. La piscina, il parco giochi per bambini, la sala da tè e le aree pubbliche sono decorate con molte piante verdi foreste di bambù vive, ho avuto subito la voglia di scattare foto. La trama è una combinazione di stile cinese e occidentale. Il divano è verticale e armonioso e l'area fumatori è attraversata molto ragionevole, scientifico e umano, con bellezza artistica e un piccolo spazio per spegnere le sigarette. JJulieHad an incredible stay here! The views are stunning (probably one of the best out of all the other accommodations nearby), the room was clean and the service was friendly. It's a family owned business and everyone is lovely. If you're taking a bus, it won't drop you all the way to the hotel but if you give the hotel a call, someone can come pick you up from the bus stop. I had a bit of a miscommunication with my previous hotel who arranged a coach for us that dropped us off at a very far away drop off point and someone still came and picked us up from there with no complaints (and did not charge us for it)!! We were also dropped back off at the bus stop on the day we left. No one spoke much English which made it a little harder, but we got by with a translator app. There are quite a few stairs to go up to get to the hotel which isn't great if you have lots of heavy luggage so I'd recommend packing lightly if possible. Having said that, if you have average fitness, you should be fine getting up and down the stairs, the trek is not too long. The views are definitely worth it! Would stay again for sure.
