Shiyi City Zhan (Guangzhou Tower)

This is a scam, the entrance had sign from police saying that this is not hotel. The place is very scary and unclear and it doesn’t feel safe at all

Overall our stay at the hotel was very nice and totally in relation with the price. The location is great, as advertised 10 min walk to canton tower and subway. Also there is a Busstation nearby from which you can comfortably reach Liwan District. The view from the room is relatively nice, you can see downtown and also the canton tower with a little angle. The room is fitted with all necessary items and was very clean and appeared new. Check in was also easy (the desk is located in a side building on the right side of the main entrance). The service was quite good, the staff was very friendly and always provided with many water bottles. The only complaint I have is that there is no spare roll of toilet paper and on one occasion after it was used up, they did not put a new one even. Also since it was raining quite heavily some days some clothes from upper floors balcony fell down onto the roof platform in front of the window and for like 3 times some people were walking there (maybe to pick it?) This is a small concern for privacy and safety if the curtains and / or windows are opened. But to summarize, our stay was great and we would choose this location again.
