During my recent business trip. I had a disappointing experience at this hotel. Firstly I accidentally left my phone holder in the room upon checking out when I called to enquire about it. The hotel staff didn’t bother to check with housekeeping and simply stated that they couldn’t find it. Additionally, on a different location. My wife urgently needed to reach me regarding our child, but the hotel staff refused to transfer the call to my room, claiming it wasn’t allowed. This was a major concern as it prevented unnecessary and time sensitive communication. Furthermore, during one of my interactions with the Staff lady mentioned that I had two rooms under my name, even though I had only booked one. When I enquired about this this discrepancy, she seemed unsure and said there might be another guest with a similar name which was unprofessional and confusing, overall I found a service and communication at this hotel to be is severely lacking medically in critical situations. I would recommend that the hotel improves its responsiveness to training and communication procedures to provide a more satisfactory and professional experience, for its guests.I checked out on the 06/11/23 in the morning.

· Hotel Halbert are doing everything right to ensure that guests have an excellent stay. Every member of staff that we dealt with was extremely pleasant, knowledgeable and happy to assist. Our arrival was 4 1/2 hours late which meant early hours of the morning arrival but we were given excellent directions and were met by the night porter. Our messages to the hotel were promptly replied to and informative. Two days of our stay we had an early start so would have missed breakfast but we were given very good 'breakfast bags to go' which we appreciated. The hotel breakfast is very good. The room was well-equipped and very generous in size. Disliked · Never thought that I'd ever write this in a review but actually there was nothing we didn't like and we would love to return to this beautiful city and Hotel Halbert

L'hotel si trova in posizione centrale e comoda. Moderno, e ben organizzato, adatto soprattutto ai giovani. Lo staff è molto gentile e disponibile. Ottima e abbondante la colazione. Camera non molto grande, ma con una finestra grandissima per godere del panorama.

Excellent stay. Clean room with kingsize bed; we had a room with a beautiful view on the city. Breakfast (buffet) excellent! The only downside is the lack of dining options (only 3). Fish and chips was of a very low quality and the mixed salad to go with the sirloin steak (asked for medium rare and proved to be rare) was icecold and had no taste whatsoever. In short: an excellent hotel, but please find another place to have your dinner!

From the moment we arrived until the very last minute we were treated with unprecedented pampering! Elisa was there from beginning to end and along with her manager made our short stay during a heatwave season a wonderfully pleasant surprise. The shower, the bed and breakfast were great. Beyond that though, the understanding in accommodating our needs when we arrived before the check-in time and needed a place to get changed for the wedding was such a nice treat. Also the several discounts and facilitation of processes whenever possible was something we had never experienced before. We are certainly coming back and recommending this hotel! Congratulations on the quality of your service. Also really nice to see the incentive for reducing impact on the environment by offering vouchers whenever we skip a day on getting the room to be cleaned.

Parcheggio sotterraneo vicino all'hotel, accoglienza amichevole e spiegazione del colazione la mattina successiva e come funziona il bar. Situato vicino al centro della città, che non richiede un lungo cammino per andare a mangiare e bere bene senza dover prendere la macchina. Sei ancora felice di stare al bar e al cappello aperto. Le camere sono pulite e ben coperte. Il colazione non è un lussuoso hotel per la colazione buffet ma non credo che tu stia andando a tavola con la fame anche se sei elettorale, ho passato peggio. Ma il loro colazione è sicuramente curato e fresco. Il check-out è andato bene e gentile. Per ridurre il numero di persone che hanno bisogno di un consigliere.

Hotel ubicato in posizione verde e con lago antistante. Panorama molto rilassante dalle stanze e dallo spazio all'aperto dedicato a colazioni e pasti. Colazione molto varia, sia per la parte dolce che per quella salata (diversi tipi di cereali, centrifugati freschi, salmone, etc). Divertente soprattutto per i bambini la piscina ed il noleggio barche. Un po' distante dal centro. Da migliorare la pulizie delle stanze, inoltre non abbiamo apprezzato la difficoltà riscontrata nello spegnimento dell'aria condizionata (subordinata all'apertura delle finestre, ma non cessata neppure dopo un'ora dall'apertura).

Why isn’t this the #1 Rated hotel on Trip Advisor? It will be soon I’m sure. It has all the things TripAdvisor people like. Friendly and attentive staff. Lovely new rooms. Comfortable beds. Quirky decor and travel theme. Huge variety of rooms from tiny to spacious. We rented a deluxe double and a 1 bedroom that slept 3. Both felt spacious. Breakfast was fresh. Has bar and good coffee. We were able to rent bikes at the hotel, which was also convenient. As they say on their site, there is restaurant noise as you are in the center of the action. We didn’t need the provided ear plugs and slept great on the first floor. We will definitely be staying here again next time in Groningen.

Grande staff, grande posizione. Biciclette per noleggio- circa 30 minuti in città. Apri la doccia non appena entrate in una stanza che non ho visto il punto di e il pavimento della doccia è diventato molto slippery quando si usava sapone o condizionatore- essere attento. Le camere sono belle, luminose e aria.Abbiamo fatto l'errore di lasciare le finestre aperte e mi sono morso di mosche in tutto il viso, così meglio di tenermi chiuse.Servizio in camera era efficiente- cibo era ok. Abbiamo soggiornato a Ghent vdv la notte precedente, così avevamo grandi aspettative - non era così buono ma era ok. La colazione era ok. La cosa più importante era che il personale era sorprendente, non poteva essere più utile. Avevo davvero apprezzato il nostro tempo a Groningen e rimarrebbe ancora

I would highly recommend this hotel! It was truly exceptional! Breakfast was very good, rooms were clean and the mattress was extremly comfortable. I was especially with the friendliness of the staff who were more than accomodating in every way! Thank you very much! I would definitely consider staying here again.
