The hotel was in a good location for my requirements. The bar food fish and chips were all excellent & the service good from all the staff. The accommodation was clean but dated in some areas however I would stay here again & recommended to others

A perfect hotel with onsite parking. Great pub nearby. Rooms are large and well equipped though a little dated. Bathtub.

The staff where very friendly and mainly helpful,the lady who took the breakfast order was a little rude but possibly because she was busy chatting to staff in the kitchen and I had to go and ask her for some help.The room was clean,the restaurant didn't have the same atmosphere as the orangery used to have but still pleasant the food in the evening was lacking flavour and the chicken was very dry,the chips although advertised as triple cooked appeared frozen and uncooked in the middle and when I pointed this out it wasn't dealt with ,I asked for a couple of coffee sachets fir the room as there was only 1 and I was told they would be replenished after wr checked out ,not a lot of use eventually staff topped up . Wr have been attending Millfields for over 20 years ,having our wedding renewal there 19 years ago numerous wakes and birthday celebrations but this is the first time we have been back in 3 years and we decided it has lost its appeal now however I am sure mant people will enjoy there meals and events there in the future

Nice hotel in a safe location. We turned up extremely early at around 11am, which was too early to check in but they let us leave our car there for the day. We went to watch the football which is a 2 mile hour walk (we knew this beforehand).... there were a surprising amount of parks in between the hotel and the ground including one with a lake, so was actually a nice walk too. Even went to the beach! When we got back to the hotel later in the evening, we found out our room had been upgraded, so delighted with that. Room was huge and clean and had all the usual amenities like TV, hairdryer, coffee/tea making facilities etc. Bed was comfortable and slept well (nice and quiet area). Both receptionists were friendly and enjoyed our stay, so would recommend if staying in the area.

Lovely hotel with very helpful staff, good stocked bar, great breakfast and excellent gym for those that like fitness. stayed 1 night and would definitely stay again. Only a short taxi to the town centre which the hotel organised. Room was clean and bed comfortable.

I arrived at this hotel after a very long day of travelling, I was greeted cheerfully and checked in very quickly after which I was shown to my lovely large room with an equally large bathroom. The room was spotless, bright, airy and very peaceful. I unpacked and had dinner in the hotel which was lovely with great service and reasonable prices. After dinner I relaxed in my room and had a great nights sleep thanks to the peace and quiet in the hotel. Breakfast the next morning was amazing and cooked to order. Check out was efficient and Gareth had pre-booked me a taxi to take me to my meeting nearby. Thank you Millfields for a great stay.

The staff here are the most helpful and pleasant that I have ever come across . Gareth and the lady on reception Saturday evening particularly couldn’t do enough for us. A quirky place walking by a squash court to get to our room but the room itself was a decent size and looked as if it had recently been redecorated. The food was very good , excellent portions both at dinner and breakfast . Couldn’t fault the hotel at all. Extremely good value for money !
