Hotel in zona Aesop, Greenwich

Typical newly-renovated Courtyard property, so, fine, you think you know what you're gonna get (if you've stayed at a Courtyard before). I'll lead with compliments to the staff: all pleasant and chill. A particular shout-out to the Assistant General Manager Lorbie Salvador -- fantastic. She really gets it, and is great (amidst a system that can seem inconsistent or inefficient at times). Now, some mixed-review details: Renovations are currently ONGOING (6/19/23). I received an email 2 days prior to check-in that the front entrance is off-limits due to driveway reconstruction. Gotta enter via side door. So if getting rained-upon as you schlep from car to building with your stuff doesn't bother you, then fine. I dig staying dry under a covered driveway, but maybe that's just me. Just would've liked to know ahead of time (like, when I booked?). Hope that's done when you book. Our suite was indeed spacious and clean. Drapes and blackout curtains very effective, if difficult to adjust. Don't be deceived by listings/reviews/pictures that indicate a pool. NOPE, NO POOL. I inquired directly and was told they haven't offered it for 6 years! And a tarp covered the firepit (I THINK that's what it was) smack in the center of the deserted courtyard. Not great optics. At least the exercise room was real. If it matters, this IS/IS a pet-friendly hotel. I'd seen conflicting info on that. Now...the pricing. Surprisingly high for the time of our stay, in ALL aspects, for a suburban hotel located hard by the intersection of two interstate highways. I booked well in advance for an event (like, 5 months prior) and periodically tracked the rates for typical fluctuations/specials/etc, and they only climbed. Biz must be good; they claimed a sellout and that's likely true. But, hoo boy, those firm rates did surprise me. As did the $6 bottle of water in the room. And the ONE tiny crappy coffee packet (for a suite with TWO occupants). Again, bad optics at best. Starbucks and food served in the lobby cafe are no bargain. Breakfast for 2 (eggs-n-such) with coffees were pretty good...for $40 + tip. Just stuff to bear in mind so you're not surprised. Not knowing what other accommodations are nearby, I guess I'd return if I had to.

Abbiamo vissuto in questo hotel diverse volte, tutti per essere facili da esaminare per gli studenti. L'hotel è buono. L'atteggiamento del personale di servizio della reception è buono. Le strutture della stanza sono buone.

Mentre usciva per la sera o durante il colazione nel lobby, 1500 dollari in contanti sono stati presi dal mio bagaglio, sepolti in una borsa, nella nostra stanza. Il manager mi accusa di non usare l'hotel in sicurezza e non ha fornito prove promesse di segnalare la perdita alla loro società di assicurazione. Naturalmente non mi credono, ma non ho tempo per presentare tali richieste. Durante il check-in, entravano anche due grandi convenzioni, e il rumore del lobby era così alto, era quasi impossibile comunicare con l'agente di ufficio. Il colazione era solo per conforto e mediocre al meglio. E erano lenti a riempire. Sto rinunciando ai miei punti di premio per lo status argento e cercherò di trovare alloggi altrove da ora in poi, perché non mi sento al sicuro in questo hotel e non mi fido di Hilton in generale. La loro “indagine” è diventata vuota. Un caso presentato al Dipartimento di Protezione dei Consumatori di Connecticut non è stato riuscito, perché il grande tizio nega e vince, e non gli darei stelle se potessi.

Questo giardino ha superato le nostre aspettative in pratica ogni modo! Deve essere recentemente rinnovato perché tutto era super pulito! I camerieri erano particolarmente adatti a tutte le nostre necessità. 120V uscite disponibili in garage se si effettua un byoc ma non si effettua un caricatore di destinazione. Starbucks sono disponibili tramite servizio in camera o nell'obiettivo intorno all'angolo.

Avevo molto piacere questo hotel. Era qui due anni fa e era molto felice di usarli di nuovo. L'opzione ombra della finestra di blackout era grande per i nostri drink del pomeriggio. Il caldo colazione era così conveniente. Non siamo stati delusi!

+Il personale e la direzione della lobby erano molto cordiali, efficienti e negoziabili con il nostro soggiorno prolungato. Sempre pronto a rispondere a qualsiasi dubbio o domanda. +Il personale delle pulizie veniva ogni giorno se non diversamente richiesto, mantieni le camere molto pulite e ordinate. +Vicino al centro cittadino - circa cinque minuti in auto, circa 15 minuti a piedi - con molto spazio disponibile per il parcheggio. +Colazione gratuita al mattino! +Disponibile una buona e potente connessione WiFi - Internet perso molto brevemente una volta ogni due settimane. + Dog-friendly con tariffe ragionevoli! Hotel, nel suo complesso, sembrava datato come altri hanno già detto. Io e il mio partner abbiamo fatto molte battute sul fatto che assomigliasse a Shining. Non ci importava, ma qualcosa da notare. La colazione gratuita aveva una selezione limitata. Non aspettarti buffet completi, solo qualcosa che ti accompagni dalla mattina fino al pranzo. Non abbiamo avuto la possibilità di utilizzare i servizi (lavanderia, palestra), ma ci sono stati offerti. -I letti erano duri e scomodi per noi. Avevamo bisogno di acquistare un materasso in schiuma per rendere il sonno più sopportabile, poiché i fianchi e la schiena hanno iniziato a far male dopo le prime due notti. -Gli ascensori si sono guastati più di un paio di volte durante il nostro soggiorno. Per fortuna hanno lavorato il giorno del check-out, altrimenti saremmo stati nei guai! NEL COMPLESSO: Per il prezzo e la posizione, siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti del nostro soggiorno! Adoro il personale, l'attenzione e la coerenza. Avrei voluto solo che avessero letti migliori e ascensori meno capricciosi. Anche con l'aspetto datato, se hai bisogno di un posto dove stare, questo posto fa il lavoro per un prezzo che non ti brucerà il portafoglio. Noi raccomandiamo!

Sono felice che abbiano iniziato a servire colazione calda, se avessero più opzioni! Normalmente non ho mai problemi con l'hotel, ma questa volta ho avuto una pazza a seguirmi e mio figlio e ha reso il mio soggiorno molto incomodo e lui è stato arrestato anche il giorno dopo grato per questo, ma ha ancora rovinato il mio soggiorno !! La piscina è molto tranquilla e fredda, non si apre più tardi nel giorno, non prima.

E'pienamente vicino al luogo di lavoro e scegliere questo hotel. L'igiene e l'ambiente sono generalmente. Ci sono un'intera distanza dal negozio di comodità per la vita. Ci sono molti ristoranti italiani vicino, come se questo fosse il luogo di riunione degli italiani

My wife and I got married here 28 years ago and decided to go back for an anniversary brunch on a busy Sunday in August. We had not been back since. A friend, who lived locally, joined us. The building and grounds still look great. We made reservations online. After you order, they place a lovely plate of bagels, fresh fruit, cream cheese and muffins on your table. Everything was very fresh. Nice way to start. The brunch was a 4 course price-fixed meal, which we knew going in. You can enjoy lunch or breakfast. Two of us went with breakfast and the other went with lunch. Our table began with the organic smoked salmon and the lobster bisque soup. Excellent. All the portions were more than generous. The smoked salmon was tasty and chilled to the perfect temperature. Our friend devoured the soup. Our table ordered the bronzini, bananas foster French Toast, and the Belgium waffle with fresh berries. We also ordered a side of apple smoked bacon. Our friend said the bronzini was fantastic. She ate everything. The French Toast and waffle came out fresh and hot. Delicious. Our dessert was pecan pie and two orders of the apple crumble. Nice portions, fresh, and it went well with coffee. As coffee snobs, the coffee was excellent. The service was excellent. We even received a decorated plate saying, ”Happy Anniversary” written in chocolate syrup. The price was very reasonable. There was plenty of parking around the property. The building still looks as beautiful as it did 28 years ago. I don't think I'll wait another 28 years to return again!
