I was quite surprised with this hotel and although fairly basic, it was actually a nice cheap place to rest whilst on the road. The staff were very friendly and it was cheaper to book in person than online. The rooms are admittedly outdated and need some updating, the tv was old but worked fine, the beds were creaky but comfortable and the room was nice and quiet. I would say that the showers don't have any body wash so make sure you bring your own, unless your happy to use a bar of soap that they provide... Parking was no issue and found plenty of spaces and if you don't feel like eating here, their is a BK 5 mins down the road and a Starbucks. Hotel is in a good location with Blackpool down the road and quiet enough to be a safe place to sleep.

Great place to stay right on the edge of the motorway and they also accept dogs in certain rooms which is great. Loads of local places to eat down the road, although our experience next door at the BBQ restaurant wasn't great (nothing to do with the hotel). The staff on site are very welcoming and love a good chat. To Nick, George and all the ladies in the team ... I thank you 👍

Carpet not been hoovered for quiet a while i think . Made for a sleepless night i was booked in for 2 nights but booked out after the first one and went somewhere else for the 2nd night.

The property rated highly for cleanliness. However I found the property to be quite run down, not as clean as I’d have expected and overall poor in presentation- threadbare is how I’d describe it. An example is that the TV remote to a very small TV did not work and was sticky. I went to get new AA batteries from reception but they had only oneAAA battery. They didn’t offer to obtain any more. It was not what I expected from the reviews and how it was presented.

I was happy that I was allowed to check in 1 hour early.
Unfortunately that is where the positives end, the villa express feels like a very tired hotel. Broken fixtures and fittings, dead flies in the light fittings and no soap in either of the 2 dispensers in the en-suite. cleanliness was an issue especially in the bathroom, I will not be returning

Stayed there a few times over the years . Good location for an over night stop etc. Clean and tidy over all. Friendly staff.
It went down a bit a few years ago but seems to have been spruced up recently. Change of ownership?
(The tv in the room had seen better days with occasional unresponsive controls. Wi-fi did not load up.)

On arrival I checked in and was shown my room. The bed was almost on the floor.
The room was freezing cold and I spoke to reception and she came to the room and attempted to warm up. She was lovely.
I went to the attached restaurant which is a steak house- they had NO steak. On returning to the room it was still freezing and there was no towels. I had to be moved.
On the second room the heating worked.
I was asleep and was woken by the sound of small feet scuffling around on what sounded like a hard surface. After the initial shock, I decided to check for droppings to confirm my suspicions there was mice, there was none seen but the sound went through the night. I therefore had no sleep!

Appears to be a former Premier Inn site. Large free parking area & located close to a main route to Blackpool & surrounding area. Rooms were of a reasonable standard, with all the usual facilities in a working condition, but needs a refurbishment. Bed firm, but comfortable, room clean, but carpet in need of a deep clean. No inhouse food other than a snack machine, but next to a "Smokehouse" restaurant, which was excellent. Overall of an acceptable standard for cost & convenient as an overnight stay.

Lovely quiet hotell and the staff is so friendly and helpful especially Colette from reception i borkwn down with ny car off the motorway and she was so helpful and kind to me that i completely forgot about the car,i ended up there by mistake but will go there for sure in the future
