Globalmente grande esperienza. Il personale dell'hotel è amichevole e utile. Le camere hanno storia e il lobby ha un ambiente di alta classe. I guardiani sono andati sopra e oltre diverse volte. Le camere, mentre accoglienti e confortevoli, sono un po ' date. Non dire le cose si sentono vecchie e decrepite, piuttosto si può dire che la stanza non è stata aggiornata in un certo tempo. Il servizio in camera da colazione è stato eccellente. La posizione è centrale e facile da raggiungere dai locali hotspot. I bagni in camera erano di alta qualità. Il letto è molto comodo.Ci è piaciuto il nostro soggiorno.

Grande hotel. Grandi camere, e comodo letto. Anche goduto di un drink e un snack veloce nel ristorante. Dritta dalla strada da Canada Place e a piedi veloce al centro o a Gastown. L'unica questione è che l'ispezione ha richiesto 30 minuti e l'ispezione ha richiesto 15 minuti. Inoltre, il WiFi era gratuito, ma doveva trovare il codice che ci hanno dato per attivarlo. In caso contrario, l'accesso a WiFi era solo pagato. Ma torneremmo!

Il nuovo hotel nel 2019, l'hotel è molto nuovo, pulito e il design è nella media. Non ci sono spazzolini da denti o articoli femminili nella stanza e non ci sono pantofole. Sono davvero sorpreso dalla valutazione in stelle! Ci sono poche strutture pubbliche, solo una palestra e una piccola piscina termale, quindi il valore cp non è alto

Although we booked an ADA-accessible room months in advance, we did not find out until 3 days prior to check-in that the hotel had no ADA rooms for families needing two beds. It took a number of phone calls for the hotel to come up with a solution for us which was to book two rooms (one King ADA and another King room) at the JW because the Douglas was completely booked. This option would cost our family and additional $2,300 over our stay. As there were two cruise ships in port and a marathon that weekend, I was unable to find any other hotel with availability at that late notice. Thankfully our son is able to transfer and my husband was able to assist him enough to make the room work but it was a huge inconvenience and stress I did not need. We are loyal Marriott rewards members and were very dissatisfied with how little the staff seemed to care. The hotel is beautiful and we enjoyed the location but it is ridiculous there are no ADA rooms with two queen beds in either the Douglas or JW and even more ridiculous this isn't noted on the website. Reservations should have contacted us immediately so we could make other arrangements. Not every family with a wheelchair user is going to be able to make this work.

Great location with outdated room. Swing door lock was missing. AC is not working (maybe I’m not using it properly). Biggest issue is noise level. It’s 12:26am and there is loud music sound coming from somewhere non stop for the last 3 hours. My room is on 13th floor. I don’t know if it’s because Friday night and maybe it’s from a bar at the ground level. Don’t people sleep here. Next time I’ll find another hotel. Vancouver was great tho After a call and a personal visit at the front desk, finally the noise stopped around 1:05am. It was from a rooftop party. I don’t think I can sleep tonight as I’m wide awake dealing with this issue. The following day, checked at the front desk and found out that on the weekends, there are parties on 15th floor rooftop between Thanksgiving and year end. I was able to switch room to 7th floor and the problem disappeared the following 2 nights. I loved the location and people were friendly but just beware that you may have to deal with loud music if you were to stay on 13,14th floor (maybe 12th floor) on the weekends in Nov/Dec.

Due fattori positivi: - la posizione, comoda per girare la città e vicino ad un centro per il noleggio biciclette; - si dorme bene: materasso comodo e camera silenziosa (al piano 11). Tutto il resto negativo. Non abbiamo trovato la camera pronta alle 21 (doveva esserlo alle 15). Per il check-in ci sono voluti venti minuti (dopo un viaggio di 12 ore pesano molto), perché non trovavano la nostra prenotazione nonostante avessimo presentato un voucher (camera già pagata). Problemi con il pos per convalidare le nostre carte di credito. Al check-out chiediamo aiuto per portare giù le valigie ma, nonostante la loro risposta “sure!” non si è presentato nessuno ed abbiamo fatto da soli. Ma soprattutto segnalo un fatto che ci ha lasciato stupefatti: al rientro nel pomeriggio del primo giorno troviamo la camera non rifatta. La loro risposta è stata che viene pulita solo se richiesto. Quindi letto disfatti, teli bagno non cambiati, insomma camera ritrovata come lasciata la mattina. È la prima volta nella vita che sento una cosa del genere… Infine, ma questo è gusto personale, non mi è piaciuto lo stile: mobilio stile classico di colore scuro, molto “pesante”. Solita moquette per terra (quindi poco igienica), ma questo purtroppo è tipico degli alberghi americani, Alcune luci non funzionavano. Bello invece l’affaccio sui grattacieli di downtown dall’undicesimo piano.

L'hotel è nella scuola, appartamento stile studentesco, lavanderia condivisa, lavatrice e asciugatrice è molto conveniente.Le strutture della cucina sono complete, ci sono forbici e caffè, non c'è bisogno di bruciare l'acqua con il caffè. Si suggerisce di cambiare il cappuccio interno della testa, fotografare il cappuccio volando sul telefono e sul sedile accanto. Abbiamo continuato a fare la chiusura, e infine abbiamo trovato la ricetta per cambiare due cappuccio.

This was one of the best hotels experiences I have had. The rooms are decent. The amenities are clean and tken care of. The staff are all helpful and pleasant. My bed was a little.firm for my old bones but the room was clean. Was a good central.location for what we were doing. The staff the coffee and the waffles are some of the best I have had from a hotel. The serve the breakfast until 10am which makes may sleepy head extra happy. Overall a good value considering location and comfort of stay.

Abbiamo rimasto qui due volte ora, entrambi i tempi il tubo caldo non ha funzionato correttamente. Se avete piani prima della mattina dovrete scoprire un colazione perché non iniziano a servire fino alle 7:00 (dovevamo lasciare l'hotel alle 7:00 entrambe le mattine, quindi non abbiamo ottenuto il valore totale del nostro soggiorno). Dovevamo stare con gli amici, ma l'hotel ha cercato di pagarli un giorno prima e non ha funzionato, invece di contattarli per cercare e ordinare la situazione, hanno cancellato la prenotazione senza preavviso, Lasciandoli scappare per cercare un altro hotel perché non offrirebbero loro un'altra stanza. La signora che era al dipartimento mentre questo era stato ordinato non era molto piacevole da affrontare (sì, i nostri amici non erano molto felici e un po' sgradevoli, ma ciò che si aspetta in questa situazione).

Abbiamo solo una notte, due camere sono protette e lo spazio è molto comodo, come l'apparecchiatura di casa è molto completa, ci sono microonde, macchina per caffè, cassaforte, salotto, frigorifero, scrivania.... Ogni camera e soggiorno hanno una TV, ciascuno ha uno specchio di cosmetica e un letto in camera da letto, finestre a terra e un bel paesaggio fuori finestra. Il letto è molto morbido, pensava che sarebbe stato troppo morbido e il risultato del sonno era ancora una sensazione di alba e molto comodo. Il posto è fantastico per comprare cose molto conveniente. Ci sono molti negozi che possono comprare cibo al piano di sotto. Ci sono McDonald's, lavato in giapponese, e Gudan ~ Il ristorante cinese vicino a Liudan è anche fantastico. Il capo è gentile a raccomandare il vostro piacevole ristorante in autunno.

Stayed here with my partner for 3 nights while in town for a concert, the hotel location was great because it is like a block away from the harbour and if you’re comfortable with walking it’s a 45 minute walk to English Bay and like 15 min or less to Robson street. They do have a restaurant located in the lobby and the food always smelt amazing, but because we were only there for 3 nights we were more focused on trying different food places around Van, though we plan to come back and try the food at the lounge. The beds were comfy and the room was quaint and all we needed since we spent most of the time out of the hotel room and just came back to rest. Check in and check out was also very easy and fast.

We encountered a really bad arctic blast and we booked the Hilton on a whim as we felt we couldn't continue up the mountain in the dark. Per the TA norm the photos did not match the actual rooms at all. This hotel is terribly dated and is due for a remodel. The restaurant is mediocre and service not great. Bitterly cold temps outside and the entire main lobby floor was absolutely freezing. All of that said, it was clean & comfortable for what we needed. Got a good night's rest and went on our way the next day. Not worth the hefty price tag though.

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo hotel per 5 giorni e 4 notti e abbiamo avuto un bel tempo. La stanza era pulita e fusa fresca. Questo hotel non ha una politica di animali domestici, che ci piace perché quando si va ad hotel che prende animali domestici, talvolta le camere non profumano fresca. È vicino a negozi, supermercati, ponte Capilano e altre attrazioni. Prendemmo l'autobus e il mare al centro di Vancouver che era molto facile da fare. Tornando all'hotel era facile, mentre l'autobus si trova a circa 2 minuti da questo hotel. In generale, abbiamo avuto una grande esperienza e rimarremmo in questo hotel se fossimo a Vancouver.

Perfect location for downtown vancouver with lots to offer, the staff seemed nice but the guy on the desk on the evening was not impressed with. Very abrupt and unhelpful and unwelcoming. The other staff I dealt with seemed nice and freindly. Connected to q bar which runs events on the evening which is great for socialing, but wouldn't recommend if you was there amd wanting to sleep earlier in the night as music is loud and can be disturbing. Cleanliness was average but what you'd expect from a hostel as its not about there cleaning but sometimes the people staying there with toilets and shower areas not really respected for other guests. Didn't impact my experience and is probably what you'd expect for one of the cheaper hostels in the area

6/8/2022 One star is indeed too much for the below. Pls take into consideration what I am writing here. It took me ages to book online my future stay in Vancouver with that mediocre hostel through first Hostelworld and later directly online with the hostel itself. A real nightmare! Now, I am spending additional time to make sure I post negative reviews online but I am glad to do it. I can assure you that Cambie downtown Seymour hostel is not a reliable, trustworthy hostel you can rely on. Early April, knowing that Canada is busy in spring, autumn and summer, I started doing my homework and booked my stay with Hostelworld. Since then, I did not finish being on the phone and computer correcting booking issues with the hostel staff. First, Hostelworld booking # did not match the hostel one. OK it was corrected. Second, the bookings which followed were cancelled by the hostel without my authorization and they blamed me and Hostelworld. Third, the hostel manager called Victor begged me to cancel the Hostelworld ones and keep his bookings performed directly online with the hostel instead. I did it. And now after all those acrobatics back and forth, Victor has the nerve to cancel them. What a disgrace! I was stunned. FYI, his staff working is rude, impatient and lack of courtesy customer service when I took myself the time to call from USA and confirm my bookings. I was paying the phone calls. It was a real nightmare. Now, I just booked somewhere else. Yes, online Seymour is the cheapest but cheap is expensive. I wasted 2 months and now, today, in June I got a cancellation email from Victor. Unfair not ethical professional business attitude from that hostel! I wish to make sure you all know about it and book somewhere else where it is guaranteed you will have a place where to stay. Anyway, if you decide to book with that hostel, make sure you confirm your booking because what you paid and book might be not what you get. Coming from Canada, it is very strange but unfortunately the staff is not originally from that country. That is why they behave that way. I am a world traveler and never had such nasty, mediocre, and poor level experience. I booked my stay with Edmonton, Calgary, Banff, Lake Louise, Gasper and Tofino within a couple of seconds without going through that ordeal/nightmare. I did not deserve such treatment. The hostel messed with all my bookings. I can write a book. I won't recommend that hostel to my best friends.

Wow! Can't say enough great things about this hotel. My daughter, her husband and I stayed three nights in an executive king/queen suite and it was beautiful. We arrived after 9 at night and the desk staff were friendly and helpful. The suite was beautiful and super clean with the two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a generous sized living/dining space and balcony. It has all been recently updated and I am including a few pictures here of a view you don't see on their website of the queen room of the back wall and closet. As you can see, there is a TV in every room and also safes, robes and slippers ( I am wearing a robe and slipper set so you only see one in the closet). The kitchen had full size appliances, 4 place settings, plenty of silverware, a skillet, nepresso machine, etc. The staff were friendly throughout the stay and there was always someone at the desk. An upscale grocery (urban fare) is across the street and it is a short walk to any restaurant or the skytrain station, waterfront, etc. We will definitely be back!

Il momento in cui sono entrato nel lobby e sono stato accolto dal personale, sapevo che sarebbe stato un viaggio incredibile. Inizialmente, la posizione è sorprendente. Camminare a tanti ristoranti, negozi di caffè e negozi. Il mio primo concierge, Alexander, mi ha raccontato molto sulla storia di alcuni edifici e mi ha raccomandato di andare tutti. Ha anche compiuto un passo in più per camminare con me e il mio amico a Palate Kitchen intorno all’angolo per assicurarsi che non ci siamo persi e ci ha presentati all’ospite. Il servizio clienti è stato così incredibile che non ho mai vissuto, anche quando sono stati a 5 stelle altri hotel. Tutte le raccomandazioni dei siti per vedere rendevano il nostro viaggio assolutamente perfetto . L'agente del servizio di fronte della notte mi ha offerto anche acqua e mi ha offerto di chiamare un camion quando il mio Uber ha cancellato il mio volo alle cinque. L'altro impiegato che ha trasferito il mio bagaglio nella macchina, mi ha portato la notte in pioggia e mi ha aspettato fuori fino a quando non erano lì. La stanza era senza spot e così bella.La custodia ha fatto un lavoro straordinario. Abbiamo anche ricevuto una carta scritta a mano con Rose al momento dell'arrivo, nonché i biglietti per colazione e il check-in precoce. Grazie tante al personale per aver fatto la mia vacanza così magica. Non posso aspettare di fare riferimento ai miei amici in vacanza per soggiornare in questo hotel. Che esperienza speciale! Anche il colazione e il ristorante è stato fenomenale !

Ho scelto di rimanere qui a causa della navetta aeroportuale e dell’accessibilità al trasporto pubblico. Given the price I had to pay, I’d have given a better a rating IF: (1) la navetta aeroportuale è più puntuale (2) the TV in the room works better (clearer, guests ‘can’ use it simply by following menu, has choices of movie/ netflix connection) (3) il bagno in bagno ha una più efficiente drenaggio dell'acqua (4) Il condizionatore d'aria ha un controllo digitale e è più tranquillo (5) L'ascensore funziona più intelligente. Cosa mi piace: (1) La macchina del caffè complimentare nell'area comune (2) Il personale è bello
